Rowell’s Septic were great. We used them to check and pump out septic system at our cottage here in central New Hampshire. They were friendly and responsive, they came when they said they would and they did a great job. We absolutely plan on using them again

Javier called and texted me to let me know that he and his assistant were on their way from Concord, which gave me a time frame and allowed me to trap our dogs indoors where they wouldnt get in the way. They showed up to pump my septic tank, and did so in a timely manner (about 40 minutes). They were very professional. I appreciated the report on my invoice and will use a bacteria starter to keep my septic system functioning.

Worst customer service ever!!! Quoted one price then charged more. Did not fix the initial problem we called them for and then wanted to come back, charge more AND an additional service charge. I will share this with ALL my condo neighbors. WILL NOT EVER USE AGAIN!!!

Called Rowell Services after experiencing a serious city sewer backup. Was a bit hesitant to call because I’m a bit south of their location, but that proved to be a non-issue. They service a large geographic area. Office staff was very responsive, courteous, knowledgeable. I received text messages and phone calls letting me know that someone was on the way and the exact time that someone would arrive. Alex came out, diagnosed the issue, worked with the city after city had already (wrongfully) disclaimed responsibility. Alex got city to reconsider and resolve the issue. He took care of all the details, saved me $15,000 of excavation work that I would have otherwise been responsible for! Thanks to Alex, the cost to me was extremely minimal and he made it pretty much stress-free! To say Rowell’s pricing was fair is an understatement. Calling Rowell’s saved me a ton of money. Highly recommended! Will definitely call them for any future needs!

Our 50 year old copper water pipe sprung a leak and we had to shut down water supply to the entire house. Rowell services responded quickly to my call and their technician was very pleasant and very efficient at replacing a piece of the pipe and installing new fittings. We have used Rowell’s on several occasions and they have always been professional and courteous. From the customer service to the services being done I would highly recommend to anyone. This last time we had our septic tank pumped and it was a very fair price and they showed up as scheduled. They were easy to reach and very accommodating when it came to days and times. Rowells came today to put in hookups for a brand new dishwasher, to connect our fridge for water/ice, and to put washer and dryer connections upstairs. The entire process was more efficient and affordable than our wildest dreams. Rowells came to complete a quote within a couple days of us paying their $150 fee (which was on par with all other companies we got quotes from), and the electrician and plumber were professional and thorough. The quotes were sent when promised and both were lower than we were expecting. The company was incredibly accommodating in scheduling the electrician and plumber for the same day so we didn’t have to take more time off of work, and we only had to wait two weeks for availability. When they came today, they were professional and happy to explain what they were doing as they completed the several things we needed in our house (which was built in the 1800s so not the easiest to do work in). They not only put in our dishwasher hookups, they also connected our dishwasher. They cleaned up after themselves (including vacuuming!), and were able to complete all of this work within 4.5 hours. We are beyond pleased and would give our strongest recommendation. Thank you to our electricians, Jesse and Andrew, and our plumbers, John, Mike and Reese.

Id like to thank Bobby Joe and Lori for getting this done for us we needed our septic tank pumped, and we needed it soon. Called rowells Monday morning after we had a small issue with out septic being full. They came out the next day and were great! Right on time. Driver called ahead of time just like they said they would. Was in an out quickly and gave some good advice! Would recommend to anyone! Prices were fair and the service was great! Weve been using Rowells Services for some number of years and have been pretty happy with their service. We started with septic service, the original focus of Rowells, where they were expensive, but very reliable and trustworthy. Weve more recently been having them service our boilers and furnaces as theyve expanded into these areas as well and, although their prices are double what weve found from other companies, theyve been just as reliable and trustworthy....Until the pandemic. Since the pandemic struck, weve had no end of scheduling issues with Rowells. We book appointments month in advance as they require that you be available anytime during the day of the appointment as they cant specific a time that they will arrive on site. Earlier this year, we had blocked out time for an appointment and received a call the day of the appointment that the technician was out sick. Fine, that happens, but they couldnt schedule a replacement appointment for weeks even though they had failed us. We rescheduled for early July when we had another window of opportunity.We reconfirmed the July appointment a week in advance. We then called the night before to get an estimate on when the technician would arrive and everything was fine. But then, two hours after the technician was scheduled, we received a call that theyd have to cancel as some of the other jobs ran long and wed need to reschedule for later in the summer.Now Rowells is not only double the price of other companies in the Lakes Region, but theyre also completely unreliable and I would dare say arrogant. This was a great company but, whether its workload, a shortage of staff, or changes in management, the company has gone downhill fast.Well be looking elsewhere moving forward.

We needed an additional 1/2 bath in our vacation cabin by our family’s arrival in August. Two other contractors that had agreed to do the work backed out of the job, so I called Rowell’s in May or June. They were prompt with an estimate, and arrived on time on both days that they worked. All staff members, including the plumbers and the telephone staff, were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Work was completed neatly and on time. We would definitely use Rowell’s again, and have already recommended them to others. Thanks!

After two days of struggling to clear multiple clogged drains, I called Rowell’s Services and spoke to Bobbie Jo. She was courteous and professional; amazingly she was able to schedule me for same day service and provided me with an upfront breakdown of the anticipated costs. The service guys texted me prior to arriving and they resolved my issue in a timely and professional manner. Rowell’s wasn’t necessarily my cheapest option, but they proved to be my best option... Rowell’s installed a ductless mini-spilt AC and heating system for me last summer. The install was mostly good however something got crossed up and they had to come back and fix it which they did. It worked well all summer. We started to notice a problem this summer however. The head units were throwing cool air but not cold air. My first service call was scheduled quickly but when they missed the service window by more than 2 hours I had to reschedule. 2 days later (luckily not super hot days) the service tech came back as promised. He quickly determined the problem and provided a temporary fix until a more permanent fix could be done. Apparently the lines between the head units and the heat pump had corroded cause a leak of coolant. These lines had been recalled by the manufacturer and so the repair was free. It’s not clear if this was a fluke batch of cooling lines for a reputable supplier or lines bought from a cheap supplier with the intent to save money. Either way Rowell’s is making us whole fixing the problem without cost to us. Apparently I have not been the only one with this problem. Hoping the permanent fix is done soon before the hot weather comes.

Very pleasant company to deal with. I booked my appointment online. A promotion indicated that booking online would reduce the bill by $25. A valve replacement was needed. After a couple of texts were exchanged, it seemed that the specifics were understood. A date for service was scheduled, but only a window of time, noon to 4:00pm could be given. Imagine my surprise when the technician texted at 8:50am to say he was on his way. He did not say where he was coming from, but about an hour later, he arrived. The job was completed in about an hour. I can appreciate that it’s nearly impossible to predict how long any particular job might take, but had I counted on having all morning to do other things, I would have been out of luck.

These folks are second to none, in my opinion. Extremely professional, courteous, responsive, and they know their stuff. My wife and I had a sewage line backup occur in our basement, and Rowells came out on the same day we called. A few hours later, no more clog, and they kept us under budget!I will be using Rowells again, and Id recommend them to anyone in need.

Two Rowell’s Service technicians recently came to empty our septic system. They were incredibly profession and friendly, and I learned a lot about our system while they were there. All aspects of the service were excellent from the technicians who came, to setting up the appointment with customer service to the off-hours person I first spoke to. Ive use Rowells for septic in the past and have always been pleased. I actually didnt realize they did other types of service but I checked them out just in case and Im glad I did.

The office contact Kelly was very friendly and informative. The staff that came to inspect my septic was clear on what they were doing and what they found. Gave me a emailed report that arrived just as they left.The Septic pumping was done at the same time and was not intrusive with the inspection. My system is in fair condition but the inspector was clear on what will be needed in future and I will be contacting Rowells when it is time to do that replacement and add to my system.

Ive used Rowells in the past for other plumbing issues and repairs and have always received courteous and professional service. This time was no different. I submitted an appointment request online through Rowells website to get our toilet that was leaking fixed. I submitted on the evening of the Memorial Day holiday figuring I would have a phone call Tuesday morning to finalize the appointment. NO! They texted me back within an hour of submitting my request and we had the appointment finalized for the day I requested, which was Wednesday. Totally exceeded my expectations. The two gentlemen who came to take care of the issue were courteous and professional and I would recommend Rowells highly. Thank you for making dealing with plumbing issues a little less stressful!

Had them pump my septic tank. It’s about 150 ft from my driveway and straight down hill (40-50 ft in elevation), so not an easy job. The technician (Jim Ackerman) was outstanding! Super friendly, great sense of humor and knew exactly what he was doing. Even let me watch and educated me about a lot of $hit! Hahaha but seriously, Rowell’s is no joke. We had our septic tank pumped and they were friendly and reasonably priced. We will definitely call them in the future.

I needed a new septic system and after getting the blueprint made and accepted by the state we called 5 or 6 different companies to get quotes for installing the system. We also wanted stumps removed and the property around the septic flattened. We had already received most of the other quotes before Rowells finally got us theirs. We were in shock at how much they wanted to charge us. The quote we had gotten weeks before was over $10,000 cheaper and included all of the other work we wanted done. The quote Rowells gave us only had the septic work and when we asked how much the rest would be he was throwing out thousands and thousands more for the extra work. Then Rowells told us that they wouldnt be able to get to the project until next year. The quote that we were thinking about going with was going to be able to get it done less that an month after we received Rowells quote. After telling us the work wouldnt get done until after winter, he said that we should change to them to get our septic pumped every few weeks until they were able to do the job........why? So we can keep filling their pockets with money for 7 months until they price gouge us even more when they finally decide to do the job. Crazy, just crazy. They were by far the worst quote we received. Maybe they were hopeing that we would be too lazy or dumb to get other quotes. Either way, as I type our new septic is in and has passed inspection, our stumps are gone and the grass seed is being put down and wasnt done by Rowells.

My basement flooded for the first time since I purchased the house 3.5 years ago. The heavy rains is what caused it but I realized my foundation drain was no longer diverting water like it use to. Rowell Services showed up and scoped the pipe and found roots had gotten into the pipe. They were able to successfully remove the roots by using high pressure water and Rootx cutting. Most importantly, they understood the sense of urgency with more heavy rains forecasted and had a crew on site within a day. Thank you Rowell!

This company does a good job and show up in a reasonable amount of time. They are a little pricey but the three times we needed them they showed up fairly quick so I guess that makes it worth the higher cost.

I am not sure if emptying out my septic falls under Repair sewer or not, but thats what I had done. I had called another business, one closer to my home, and after 3 days, they still had not returned my call even though I stated on their voicemail that my toilet was actually gurgling because my septic was over-loaded. I called Rowells and she told me that they could be there the very same day for an additional fee, or the next day without the additional fee. I chose the next day, as I had already waited this long, I figured one more day wouldnt hurt. I didnt get a chance to dig out the septic cover, as I have arthritis in all joints and it was raining. The technician was out there for so long that I figured I would be getting charged at least an hour or up to 2 hours for his labor charge for digging it up and then closing it back in. I was so happy when I saw my bill and they only charged me 1/2 hour of labor! I cant imagine that it only took him that long, in the rain, to provide that additional service, and I am extremely grateful to both him, and to Rowells in whole! I am a widow with a daughter and 2 grandsons living with me and we struggle financially. Rowells went above and beyond in customer service and safety for all of us. Thank you, Rowells!

This is the 1st time we have used Rowells service. Best decision we ever made. We had a cleaning service on our heating system, and filter change on our tank. Mike was super polite, & came with a mask on which is very important to us, being seniors. Wonderful personality & also brought a treat for our dog! How wonderful! We had our septic pumped. Jim Ackerman was very nice and did a great job but the reason for only a 3 star is because my appointment was originally Thursday between 8-12 and I waited around to be told they couldn’t make it but they’ll come Saturday between 8-12 but didn’t get here until 4pm which blew my whole day. Awful timelessness.

The team at Rowell’s has serviced my commercial property for several years now, and a recent experience I had truly showcases their dedication to building long-term, trust-based relationships in our community. Another company accidentally damaged my furnace beyond repair, and as a landlord to several tenants I was desperate for a solution. It would have been an easy sell, but Will, who has been wonderful to work with over the years, went out of his way to understand and explain to me what happened, and why pursuing a fix through the other company would be more beneficial to me. This resulted in the full cost of replacement being covered by the other party, and I was left grateful and amazed by the integrity of Will and Rowell’s. I’ll certainly continue working with them for years to come!

I was a bit weary about using big service company to take care of my plumbing needs. In the past with other companies I had been way overcharged. I tried to make arrangements with smaller plumbing companies, but they were either too busy, or didnt respond at all. I contacted Rowells online and talked to someone over text. 2 weeks later (on a day that was agreed on) a pair of plumbers showed up and finished the job quickly. I was also pleasantly surprised when I got the bill at the end of the job. The price was very fair and the work was good.

This was our first time using Rowells, and we were very impressed. When a company charges by the hour, you always worry that they wont work in an expedited manner. The crew of 2 that came to resolve what turned out to be roots in the septic system were prompt, polite, and best of all, competent. They didnt charge for one more minute than they were working on the issue. Theres further, non-emergency work to be done, and we have no reservations about having them back to do it.

Alex came out for the initial call, I worked with Kim on the phone when paperwork was getting in order, within two days Mike and his team were out to do the job right on time he and his crew were amazing, I was in good hands. I can not say Thank you enough for what they help me through.

I had an emergency that I couldnt find anyone to help on short notice. I called Rowells and they were at my house within an hour and a half. The team showed up and went right to work. On the morning of the weekday observance of Independence Day, a septic backflow was detetcted in a lower level bathroom that uses a pump to pump to the septic tank. We were visited, of course, by our family.A call to Rowell at 7:30am was answered immediately with a service call scheduled. We received a text notification at 12:45pm along with the name and photo of the Technician notifying that they were enroute. A link allowed the trick to be tracked for ETA.Two Technicians arrived at 1.15pm. The diagnosis and repair, including a new part, was completed within 60 minutes. The Technicians were neatly dressed in uniforms. They were very polite, and professional including wearing botties in the house.This was our first experience. We were very impressed. We will become loyal customers.

I had Rowells Services troubleshoot and repair a mini split A/C system. They were very professional and and knew what they were doing. They explained what they found and how that caused the problems I had. I would definitely use them again.

The technicians inspected our septic system as we had concerns regarding the leach field. Rowell’s was responsive, the technician’s were informative, personable, very professional and had a sense of humor. Highly recommended their work!
