Tom did an expert job with the kitchen faucet repair. I only gave a 3 star review because Ben Franklin sent an unvaccinated technician. If you want to protect your household be sure to require only vaccinated techs get sent out.

Have had Jesse replace my iron filter and water softener, he came out and diagnosed issues with me prior to that and even did a follow up visit when we were going through a high water usage period to help adjust and educate on the system once again to keep it in peak performance. Cant say enough good things about Jesse and his competency in good water.

These guys are great! Excellent service, very polite, explained everything. They answered the phone (!!) and let us know when they were 30 minutes out on the day of service. We got them here within a week on both occasions. We had them get a water hookup to a new fridge, install a new tankless water heater, and install a system to get rid of the rust in our water. Overall very happy! We will use them again when we need a plumber.

Gary was very knowledgable and took the time to diagnose the problems and inform me of what he found before proceeding with any of the work. He also gave me quotes on what costs would be involved and took the time to obtain my permission before proceeding. He installed a new water softener and removed the old one. He replaced the hot, cold, and shutoff valves from the old softener that were froze up. His repairs were very practical and neat. He also diagnosed the problems I was having with the flushing of 2 toilets and discovered a leak in the subfloor under a 3rd toilet. He fixed the issues with all 3 and thus saved the rest of the subfloor and ceramic tile from further damage and likely needing to be torn out in the future. I was very pleased with his punctuality, communication, and high level of skill in performing all of the needed work. Overall, a great experience and job well done!

Tom was on-time, courteous, professional and did quality work. He even fixed things we didnt explicitly request. The materials used in the repair/replacement of a spigot were great quality. The pipe for the spigot was extended 1 1/8 inch for new siding. And the old spigot faucet replaced with new. Anything unusual or problems found during the work were immediately brought to my attention, but no sales pressure to do work we didnt want done. I would definitely have Tom do more work at our house in the future, and I would definitely recommend him to a friend.

Did call Bengerman Franklin of northfield earlier that morning and was told that they had no emergency openings for that day. Was told emergency services werw 189 dollars just for the trip out plus the cost of cleaning the drain.. When i callrd back at 705 pm the cost went up to 250 just for the trip out plus the drain cleaning. Was pretty expensive but i had tree roots in the pvc pipe.thankbyou Tom

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing out of Northfield is great. They follow thru. They actually care about their work. We have had both Gary and Tom do work for us, great guys.

The service man came and did not do anything other than watch how the water drained before giving me an estimate. He did not have a camera or any way of grabbing an object from the toilet that we suspected had a toy in it. It was almost $300 to push the object further down and over $600 to remove the toilet if that was needed to remove the object. I was highly disappointed nothing more was done to diagnose the problem before the estimate. I paid the service charge and sent him on his way since I can install a new toilet for less than $600 myself. Disappointed they didnt have modern tools like a camera to help diagnose the problem and give more accurate estimate.

I appreciated the ETA update on his arrival day. This is the 4th or 5th time weve had Jesse in the house for various issues. They were prompt when I had a plumbing disaster in my basement. Tom did an excellent job fixing old PVC pipe that had come unattached from the ceiling in the basement. He fixed and reinforced it. Great job. Very happy.

I ran out of time on a complete bathroom remodel and called BF for help installing a sink and toilet. Tom showed up and took care of the installation. He was friendly and did a great job. He even hauled away the boxes the toilet came in.

So wonderful to have a plumber who is consistently communicative and on time. We had a fairly urgent toilet leak, and both the office staff and our plumber (Jesse, who weve worked with before) were responsive, fit us in the same day, and were clear up front about what the possible problems might be and the costs involved. We ended up having a new toilet installed within 12 hours of discovering the leak. Their prices are not as cheap as DIY, for sure, but the quality is great and the staff is professional, so we feel like its a worthwhile expense to have things done quickly and reliably - and without us accidentally breaking something or getting soaking wet!

Had an emergency sunday and contacted them. Super fast response, Tom was out quickly, fixed the problem, got me salt, took the time to explain the unit, explained the fix and what to do going forward. Our 28 year old water heater needed to be replaced immediately as it had rusted out on a Saturday night. BF Plumbing was there by noon the following Monday with a new, up to date water heater. Weve had no problems thus far. The serviceman was courteous and worked hard to get the heater in as quickly as possible on a very hot day.
