This company is THE BEST! Competitive pricing but more value for the money. I obtained 4 quotes and Nu-Concepts came in with incredible service, professionalism, efficiency, best product (not just window but framing and expert sealing), clean, very pleasant craftsmen...look no further and dont be fooled by bigger names and promises of deals. I even received some ideas for making my home have more curb appeal and window touches that enhance all of the rooms in my house. I recommend HIGHLY!!!

We used Nu-Concepts to revamp the exterior of our home. We hired them to come up with possible options, as we did not know what would make the house look attractive. We were presented with a couple of options and loved the design. In the end, Nu-Concepts replaced some windows and the front door, removed two layers of old siding and installed Hardie-board and insulation, built and installed three gables on the house, replaced the shutters and installed a new gutter system. They also recommended a company to stain the bricks on our house.Nu-Concepts work crew is excellent. They worked efficiently and paid attention to every detail. The crew was very experienced and took upon themselves to remedy a couple of minor roof construction defects while working on the house. Needless to say, we are happy with the end result. The quality of work is phenomenal, the result spectacular, and the house now looks like new. Here are the before and after photos.

I hired Nu-Concepts for a complete exterior renovation. From windows to siding and trim work and gutters. The product they suggested for siding was perfect for my style home and an excellent quality. As were the vinyl windows they installed. The crew was very courteous of my furnishings when working inside the house for the window install. I received 6 bids on this project and they were the most reasonable. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because of delays at the very end of the project...finish work like putting back exterior light fixtures. I would use them again for sure.

I called to have someone come out and give an estimate for a bay window in my kitchen. When I called I was told that they don’t do small jobs. I explained that I have several other windows that I want done in the future But right now we have our kitchen ripped apart and we would like to have a bay window estimate. The receptionist told me she had to ask the owner if they even come to my area because we are too far. When she called back she gave me a quote of over $10,000 for the window! Without even looking at it!

We recently wrapped up a window replacement project with Nu-Concepts. From beginning to end it was a great experience. Overall everything went smoothly and I would definitely work with them again.

We were looking for a new Portico and Front Door for our home... We called out a few companies and none of them were very interested in pricing out a Portico but were willing to sell us a new door. We were hoping to find a company that could do it all... A friend of mine suggested I call Ken at Nu-Concepts.. We called and he was out almost 24 hours.. He supplied many pictures of Porticos and doors they have installed. A few were even a few blocks away from our home.. After the meeting Ken sent us a very detailed quote a day or two later.. The prices were in our budget so we decided to move forward.. Everything went very smooth and we love our new entryway.. Ken took care of all permits and arranging our installation.. He showed up 10 minutes before his crew arrived which was great because it gave him the opportunity to go over the job with his crew. The job was finished in a day and a half. My husband and I highly recommend this window company. They have installed every window, of different types, in our home, from standard living room/bedroom windows, sliding glass doors, a bay window, and floor to ceiling kitchen windows. The pricing is competitive, and they use high quality products. The service is impeccable, and delivery/installation is timely. The installers are professional, and are also very well trained carpenters. The attention to detail and symmetry of installation is flawless. Our energy bills have decreased since having their windows in our home. We would not even consider using another window company with Nu-Concepts being in the neighborhood!

I opted for Nu Concepts because they were responsive and eager to do the job, and I was anxious to get new windows. Totally regret it! Completely dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism. 1) On their own (we didnt even ask), they offered a winter discount for window installation but then pressured us to contract quickly before the deal expired. When we came back a few weeks later to add onto the job, they told us the winter discount was no longer available. Very dishonest! 2) Damaged some window sills and trim work that had recently been repaired/painted. Ken made excuses for his crew, but finally promised to send someone back to fix it, but never honored that promise. 3) Made unprofessional and uncomfortable comments to me about my beautiful eyes, stunning eyes. Just yuck.

Was looking into local companies that would be able to remove my dry-vit siding and be able to replace it with a nice concrete siding. I came across Ken and Nu-Concepts during my search and had nothing but a great outcome. The 45 long back wall to my older home was off level by approx. 3 to 4 inches (which I was not aware of), giving his crew a difficult task in making it look right...they did it with ease. We were looking for a contractor to perform a whole house exterior renovation (windows, siding, soffits, fascia, gutters). After completing the project with Nu-Concept, we highly recommend Nu-Concept for your exterior renovation. They were great from start to finish. Choosing a contractor is not an easy (and very stressful) task. There are so many options with uncertainty on quality and cost. Do I go with the cheapest? Do I go with the company that has the most reviews? After receiving quotes from four different contractors, I selected Nu-Concept based on their presentation/design ideas, their reputation and their mile long reference list. In addition, their quote was reasonable given the amount of work that they were doing (I received quotes that were all over the place including a quote that was almost double). I also felt like they were not trying to oversell me (like others were doing). After doing an interior renovation, where we made every little decision, with Ken and Nu-Concept, we chose the color (with help from Ken) and they took care of the rest. No decisions to be made on every little detail. Ken assured me that they are experienced, have done work in the area and understand how to make the house look good. Once the design phase was done, it was time for the actual work. They showed up promptly (maybe even a little early) and quickly worked inside to install the windows in our house. After a few hours, I was pleased and happy to know that I hired a company that has true professionals doing the work. John and his crew were fantastic. I was amazed by how efficiently the crew worked. Everyday there was 5-6 people working from 8 am – 5 pm (our interior contractor could learn something from them). While they worked efficiently, I never thought that they were rushing. I was home for many of the days that they were there and witnessed them working meticulously to ensure that everything was done right. I think the reason they were able to complete on time, is not because they were rushed, but because they had 5-6 experienced guys that are true professionals and good at their craft. You could tell that they work together a lot and their teamwork would be envied in any company. Another nice thing was that there were no surprises. What we were quoted is what we paid. But while all these things are important, the most important is the end result. The house looks fantastic. They took a house that was stuck in the 70s and brought it back to life. We already had several neighbors stop by in passing to let us know how good the house looks and how surprised they were by the transformation. We are very happy with the work and would highly recommend Nu-Concept. There is a reason that their reference list is a mile long.

Nu-Concepts recently completed a custom portico replacement for our front porch. The finished project far exceeded our expectations. Many of our neighbors have complimented us on this new entry. They say it is beautiful and that it has updated our house.The previous portico covering our front porch was aging and needed to be repaired. Its semi-circular, flat roof design with four round columns looked nice, but seemed like an after thought even though it was actually designed and built with the house. Instead of repairing it, we wanted to replace it with something new.Enter Nu-Concepts. Steve and Ken listened to our ideas and, in working with their architect, Ludmilla, we came up with plans for a new portico. It was just what we wanted. It had a forward sloping roof with a center gable and four square columns. Everything looks great on paper, but could they actually build it? Being an engineer, I had input into the design, especially the foundation, support, and flashing details against the main house. Before proceeding with construction, I spoke to their project lead regarding construction details. After this discussion, I felt confident that they were, indeed, the right company for this project.Nu-Concepts efficiently removed the existing structure and built the new one in only two and a half days. They worked seamlessly with the village building inspector to ensure that everything was constructed in accordance with the latest codes. Initially, I checked on their work but quickly realized I didn’t have to. Nu-Concept’s crew built, installed, and finished everything with the utmost of quality. From the concrete foundation to the last small piece of aluminum wrap, I could see the attention to detail.Our project was a challenging, custom design and build. Full removal of Dryvit material from entire house. Large job. After getting three quotes, they were towards the lower end, but did a high end job. On time and actually under budget! Work crew was nice and had ideas for additional work that they completed for very little extra money. Moving doors, windows and adding shutters all added to our happiness.
