We received a quote on siding, sent in the deposit, they cashed the check. About a month and half later the sent someone out for measurements. The next day we had ComEd calling telling us the point of entry of the electricirty needs to replaced. So we contracted with an electrician to get it done. The electrician was trying to coordinate with electrician, ComEd and McCann do get the work done. McCann then decided they did not want the job and left us out to dry after months. Use someone else.

Jim from McCann Windows is very professional and knowledgeable. He provided us with valuable information for our decision making in choosing the door and door closer and the installation was well done.

McCann replaced all of our windows in our last home and again in our current home. Almost 20 years later, one of the windows is loosing its seal. The manufacturer is no longer in business, Kevin McCann contacted a glass company who came out and measured and installed the insulated lowE glass replacement. I appreciate their response.

Liz and the rest of the team were wonderful in managing my window replacement and sliding glass door project. All my questions were answered promptly. Their installation team was friendly and cleaned-up to perfection. Would definitely use again.

I saw a sample of the windows I was having installed, careful measurements were taken and all of my questions were answered.I had a fabulous install. First of all, the day was perfect which helps when you are having windows replaced.The team was right on time and fabulous.They worked quickly and did a great job of cleaning up afterward and they came well supplied with lots of mats to minimize any dust and dirt. The men were very helpful, offered help in moving furniture back in place, and even hung elevator mats for me and took them down. I highly recommend McCann Window and Exteriors.Ellen C.

I have enjoyed doing business with McCann for more than a decade and recently contacted them again because I needed to replace front and back storm doors. Their service orientation is extraordinary. Kevin came out for an estimate quickly and walked me through choices. I was trying to get a quote from them for work on fixing a gutter spout that was cracked and leaking at my home. I was referred to Chris and when I called him, he was extremely rude in telling me he was very busy right now. I asked what the wait time was and he said many weeks and I said I was willing to wait and he kept telling me he was very very busy and wasnt able to help me and wouldnt even set up an appointment or ask that I call at a later date. I called the main company phone number again and she told me that he was the ONLY person in their company that could help me and if I wanted, she could refer a handy man to help me fix it.While I understand that everyone has a busy season, it was completely rude to not even attempt to make an appointment or try to help me. I will not be using their services for my gutters (as they are apparently too busy for anyone right now) and will not be calling them in the future for my window and door replacements either.

We love McCann Windows! We have used them for two of our houses. Doors and windows! Their work is impeccable, their products are great. We have always been so happy with the quality of their work. We love them so much we have told everyone about them.

The only drawback was they had accidentally ordered a wrong size of one window so I had to wait two more weeks to get it installed. McCann installed replacement windows in our house approximately 11 years ago. The aluminum coverings placed over the exposed wood of the windows was so poorly installed that the covers are disengaging from the windows and need to be replaced or repaired. Had the aluminum covers been properly installed with adhesive and other anchoring methods I would not be experiencing such issues. The covers are fine and would not need replacement but for the extremely poor workmanship of McCann Window & Exteriors. I talked to Dave McCann who showed no interest in correcting his companys poor workmanship. Be forewarned! Hire McCann at your own risk!

Use Power Remodeling. If theres a problem, they will fix it. I would love to say the thousands I spent on the work and new window were worth it, but they were not. Service could stand to be improved.

Terrible attitude, refuse to come out to see their mistakes, wont honor transferable warranty, and when speaking to owner Kevin McCann, he said he would send someone out but would charge me $125.00 just to look at the shabby job!
