Jake was awesome! He helped me get the furnace up and running again, answered all of my (many) questions, and was just downright pleasant to be around. Give that man a raise.

The Ponds representative assessed the old hot water heater to determine the need for new unit. He explained his plan and changes that would need to be completed prior to installation of the new unit. He reviewed the costs and warranty with me including options. He discussed the amount of time needed and water shut down procedures. He was open to any questions I had regarding the project. At the end of the install he reviewed the information regarding the new unit including temp. settings for the unit. His work was neat and efficient. Overall I would give him a five star rating.

I had an emergency after hours and Steve was quick to come out and create a temporary solution to a problem in my 100+ year old house. He was extremely helpful and worked with me to fix the problem so I could turn the water back on to the rest of my house. The following week Tim installed a new water heater. He clearly explained all the work that would be done and answered all my questions. He and his assistant took extra care to make sure everything was up to code and safe with the challenges of my old house.

New to Utah. Utilized community resources to find heating and repair company with good reviews. Requested service from the website, promptly called within one hour of initiating request. Dispatch staff very friendly and helpful. Appointment accommodated same day, with tentative appointment window of 1 to 3 hours. Received phone calls when technician in route to home. Service issue diagnosed quickly and repairs began immediately. Several options Offered for service which also included a comfort service agreement option with biannual service checks. Our technician, Griffin, was friendly, courteous and explained things in detail. Very happy with service and will definitely use them again.

Griffin was great. I asked if I could request him in the future. He was very thorough. My ac unit had been serviced every year except for last but no one had done what he did- getting rid of layers of cotton from the trees as well as multiple hornets nests lodged in the unit. He explained everything he was doing and answered all of my questions. He was very respectful. I will request him again.

Not only do they provide top quality work, but they stand behind it and if it does happen that something is not perfect, they will come back as often as it takes until it is perfect- and not charge you for it! I recently worked with Ponds and particularly Daniel Bauer to replace a decrepit air conditioner and furnace. I have gone to Ponds before and every time they are a delight to work with and this time was no different. They are helpful in identifying and applying for rebates, their install was so efficient and so conscientious about masks and our resident feline goblins. They took more care to keep the floor clean than the people who live here do, and our new AC is so quiet itd be suspicious if it I couldnt feel the icy breeze coming out of the vents. We received service by Ponds Plumbing & Heating via a suggestion after Action Heating & Plumbing COMPLETELY dropped the ball on a recent service, so much so, we cancelled our Service Plan with them. Our furnace is a boiler type used to heat water for radiant baseboard hearing in our house. Most companies will not service this kind of household heating equipment. Our service tech was Lee and he was very prompt and did a very thorough job and even after appearing to fix our problem noticed a safety issue and took the parts back out, made a minor repair and put ever thing back together again. He was very good, polite and helpful. We will use Ponds again when needed.

Jerry was great. He was on time, did a good job and was super nice. He even gave me some additional tips to fix some other things that he noticed while he was here. Would highly recommend.

Called due to a leak with our radiant heat. The technician didnt do anything we hadnt already done. He claimed what we had done was all that needed to be done to prevent the leak from reoccurring. Sure enough I ended up with the same leaking problem 8 hours after they left. At that point I called and spoke with the technician on the phone. He then quoted me an additional $1000 to fix the problem (mind you I already paid $200 for his first visit). When I told him that seemed extreme and I would be getting other bids his price miraculously dropped to $260. For reference every other bid Ive received has come in between $135-200.It seems to me that he thought I would simply agree and accept his bid due to the fact that I was desperate and he could exploit me for what he thought I would be willing to pay.***Update- Service manager called. He understood the concern and did what he could to make it right. He sent his technician John out and had the problem solved at an agreed upon price that fell in the middle of other bids I received. The problem does seem to be resolved, the work was done well, and the price remained at what was decided upon before I agreed to have them come back out.Ive updated my review to be 4 stars because they were willing to make it right and resolve the issue. The only reason Im not putting it to 5 stars is the fact that I wish it would have been handled correctly the first time they came out.

Tim Rice from Ponds just came over to look at my AC. He is the only HVAC tech that I will allow near my unit. He walks me through everything that is he doing, answers all my questions, and isnt trying to make a quick buck. This is the second time hes been out, hes been extremely fair and saved me hundreds compared to other HVAC techs. He does a great job, quality work, and very fair price. Ive had other HVAC tech come over before Tim Rice and I just felt like I was getting ripped off. I typically dont write many reviews (especially positive ones), but this guy is the best.

John and Tim were focused on the job and efficient in their work. They cleaned up a messy wiring job from the previous installer and detailed the job site before they finished. I would highly recommend Ponds

Andy McDermott with Ponds Plumbing has done a few jobs for me and is always a professional with all the plumbing challenges Ive thrown at him. He just completed a completely custom rerouting of all my homes copper lines and drain lines and did it timely and with organized precision. We had someone come to our home to quote some work on 8/24/2020 the plumber said he could get us the quote in 24 hours. We followed up, they advised they would get it to us by Friday they were slammed. I called to follow up today on 9/2 more than a week and a half after the plumber walked our property and they advised they could get it to me by next week. They were unapologetic, could not say when they could actually come to complete the work and had poor customer service skills. Save yourself the time and contact another company.

Tim Rice our service technician diagnosed our problem quickly. While on site he also took the time to explain the functioning of our newly installed system. During explanation he uncovered an issue that he repaired quickly and efficiently.

Ive used Ponds before. Their techs have superior technical knowledge for sophisticated high performance systems, and their scheduling/coordination from the office is efficient and organized. John quickly diagnosed the issue with a geothermal heat pump system, got it fixed, and also flushed our tankless water heater. Upon completion I was emailed a summary checklist of the diagnosis complete with photos and temp/pressure measurements.

Our 15 year old Furnace is going out; left us without heat during the first snow storm of the winter. Ponds got us a temp solution in place to give us heat while the order a new one. They are always great to work with and extremely friendly and professional. Since we always use them, they give us great pricing, too.

Travis came to give me a bid on a ductless room air conditioner. He was wonderful. He gave me bids on several different models from 2 different manufacturers and helped me chose the one that would be right for me and my needs. I used Ponds regularly for a couple of my rental and business properties. While they arent the cheapest, they are the most professional plumbers I have worked with--and you definitely get what you pay for. The service in question was a complicated warranty issue and Ponds responded with military-like precision. They dispatched multiple techs who arrived on-time and got right to work. They wore booties to protect my carpet until they could get their drop-cloths in place. They promised it would done in 1 day and they did what they promised. They delivered my product documentation and gave me training in my new high-tech thermostat. When they were done, they did a great cleanup job vacuuming all the baseboards and corners. After they left youd never know they were even there - except for the great furnace. Outstanding! Ponds separates themselves from other companies by standing behind their work and and keeping their promises. I wouldnt choose anyone else and neither should you.

Jake is amazing! He has been to my house a few times now for contract maintenance on heating and air conditioning. It is such a pleasure dealing with a pro who really knows what theyre doing, and Jake certainly does. He is so knowledgeable, but is also very willing to patiently explain how things work, and to help out in whatever way he can. He is extremely thorough and careful in his work, and I know when he leaves, my heating and cooling systems are in tip-top shape. The schedulers also go out of their way to accommodate busy schedules, and to be there as quickly as possible, particularly if there is an urgent problem. BRAVO Ponds!

My condensing unit on my HVAC system went out recently, Travis responded to our request for a replacement estimate, he went above and beyond as far as customer service goes, he delivered a loaner portable Air Conditioning unit. The early part of the following week the install team (Narek and Andrew) showed up in the morning, their work was outstanding and much appreciated, I ended up having the Condensing unit, and evaporator coil replaced and had A UV air filter installed on top of that. Travis also stopped in after the installation was completed to do a post install inspection, Ponds plumbing in my opinion is the only company to deal with, I highly recommend their services to anyone has HVAC needs! Thank you guys for your great work, my place is much cooler and comfortable.

Ponds is an excellent company and Steve is one of the smartest, kindest, most honest people weve ever met - completely trust his work and his opinion about all things plumbing!

The technician broke the old shut off valve handle using force instead of what I suggested. Very upset, started leaking little bit, and he didnt offer to replace or offer to get the handle while he was at the store getting the cartridge for the actual problem. He removed the consultation fee from charges, however that hasnt fixed the small drip and headache that Im now in to find someone else to fix his mistake.
