Please see follow up. They made this right:I joined the Gym in January to get back into kickboxing work outs. Staff was great and I liked the gym. I even paid a couple hundred dollars for private coaching. In early March I developed wrist issues and my doctor told me I cannot continue impact work such as punching bag work. I went in on/about first week of March and cancelled my Membership. They informed me that they needed 30 day notice so the payment in for March would still go through. That is understandable. They also said they would work with me on the private coaching and shift it to non-bag work. After one more private session and a couple of cancellations of private lesson appointments, one by me, one by them, they shut down for COVID. They charged my card again $42.22 for membership in April, then again in May. I immediately called and left a message to stop charging me because I cancelled in March and they need to refund me April and May membership. I never received any response. In June they charged me for $107.17. I called and no one answered. I went by during business hours, and they are closed. Gyms are allowed to be open now, and have been for a month. They are not providing services and they are still charging me, even though I cancelled 3 months ago. I wish them the best, but these charges are fraudulent and they are not communicating at all.update: I received a refund for one of the $42.22 and the $107.17. I still am owed some personal training sessions, but that is my scheduling and availability problem, not theirs. I never received any communication but it is possible that it was lost in junk mail. I still think this is a great gym and they did make the wrongful charges right. I hope they have much success.

This has been my gym home for over 2 years, I have NEVER had any issues with any payment or staff member. My kids come here and the training has really had a positive impact regarding their levels of discipline. And dont be intimidated if you are a woman! This place has my body in killer shape! It is 100% worth every penny!

I have been a member of this gym since opening. You will not find better classes, coaches or personal training anywhere else from children all the way up to seniors there is a variety of programs available. These coaches care about their customers and will keep you moving and motivated.

The staff is really nice and the management is helpful. I am glad I found this gym. They offer wonderful classes and will help you achieve your fitness goals.

Rick and all the trainers are great. I lost almost 20 pounds doing their classes. I was still strong and kept my power beacuse the boxing and kick boxing classes will push you to that limit that you cannot do working out by yourself. One of the best experiences i have ever had and unfortunately due to my move had to leave the gym. Miss all the good people there. Very positive environment if you wanna look and feel better.

Joined UFC Gym to participate in Rock Steady Boxing (RSB), an exercise program created for people with Parkinsons Disease. Based on the exercises performed during the RSB session, I have seen improvements in 8 weeks. Coach Rick Gonzalez provides a physically challenging session with a variety of exercises and continually encourages us to push ourselves. Joining the gym was one of the best decisions Ive ever made.

This place has changed the way my son feels about himself. They have given him the training he needed to build his confidence and self esteem. Coach Dietter is the best when it comes to having patience and knowledge or these kids. I’ve been bringing my so. To the UFC gym for about a year now and he still loves it.

I have been going to this gym for around 7 or 8 months now.... I love this gym, they have great coaches that I enjoy, the interact with you and keep things fun while at the same time, bust your butt. I do mainly the classes as I like the group atmosphere, they are fun, challenging, and a neat way to meet and make new friends. I really enjoy the owner Rick, he is a funny guy that will treat you with respect.

Been going to this gym for nearly a year now with no issues. I came for the boxing and conditioning classes and have not been disappointed. I continue to learn and can see the improvements. Highly recommend.

The Brazilian jujitsu here is amazing Coach Brandon Bradshaw is a great coach and help me develop my ground game very well

I love this gym! I met my trainer at a previous gym and followed him to the UFC Gym and was much happier there. The equipment is up to date and the sessions keep you on your toes and in shape!

After getting scammed at Alliance gym I reached out to the GM here..who obviously only knows Creatine and working out..knows nothing about customer service even lied and said they can charge because the gym is within 10 miles from the other one he actually said it’s 6 miles..he must be slow it’s 12.6 one route and the shortest is 11 miles on Google maps..so now that we know the only legally binding agreement is the mile radius of within 10 miles is a lie and found out from the billing company they can help if they put in the notes to not charge and clear the balance they will clear it..this is a scam. They need to hire a customer service rep and not a phone clerk who has no idea what’s going on..stay away..anyone want to do a Civil Lawsuit let me know they are legally wrong

Great gym, my son takes the youth classes for the different martial arts. Has learned a lot over a year time when been there.

I’ve been with UFC NRH since it opened, and I’ve learned so much from this team. A friendly/clean environment with great Coaches makes it really easy to show up and learn new skills. I came in not knowing anything about MMA, kickboxing, boxing, and BJJ, but the Coaches are very knowledgeable and will help you every step of the way. Highly recommended!

I was a member of the UFC Gym in Alliance and I paid for Personal Trainer for 19 sessions, but when that Gym closed and moved my membership to UFC Gym in North Richland Hills was only notified the night before they closed . I canceled my membership and requested a refund from Personal Trainer name Gabriel I paid works at UFC Gym NRH would not refund my money $590.00. So unethical and that the Gym would not hold him accountable and make him repays what he owes. When paying for a Personal Trainer make sure you are picking on that is honest.

Love this gym. Been going here for 2 years. It is a great workout for cardio and to build muscle. Workouts are always different and never boring. Classes are also small so coaches are able to really help each individual with technique and motivation.Strongly recommend Josh and Aman!

Started about a year ago and I couldnt be happier. There is a great community here in which everyone pushes each other to be the best version of themselves. There is a strong culture for jiu jitsu being built from the ground up and it has been a pleasure to be part of it.

This gym states that you can cancel your membership at any time and you will have 30 days notice. I had my 30 days and they still take money from my account and still has me as a member although they state the opposite via email and via phone calls. Watch out.

They charged my account for months after I canceled my membership due to my new work schedule. They will rip you off and avoid you while taking your money... I felt wronged and taken advantage of. Be careful and expect to not be able to get out regardless what the cancellation rules are.

The ufc gym was definitely fun and enjoyable but when they transferred my husband and I to this gym, because ours closed, they ripped us off. The gym is out of our way and we have to show up to put in our 30 day notice with our busy schedule. We were given less than a days notice, yet we put in our 30 day written notice and they are still charging us after this was done. $320 taken by this company. I’m outraged that the we never signed up for a gym half way across town are having our money still being deducted from our account. My husband and I again will be forced to go up to this gym, out of our way with still no confirmation we won’t be charged next month. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH ANY UFC GYM!!! They will rip you off!

I’m in the military and decided what the heck why not get into fighting shape and keep myself young so I’ll join a UFC gym.... wrong idea. Joined this particular gym on Oct 2, 2018 and decided immediately it wasn’t for me, I ended up getting charged over $70 a month to use the gym when I was initially was told it was going to be around $50 with my supposedly “military discount”. Talked to the manager there and he was nice enough and walked me through the type of fighting style that I was interested in, but wanted to charge me more for extra lessons, so I was like “why can’t I get one on one training here he’ll im being charged for it” his response was that’s not what I signed up for. So I went to 2 classes total and received military orders to Germany and was told I was gunna hafta leave immediately in November. So I quit the gym and got a written letter of co formation from a lady at the front desk and thought well that’s it I won’t be charged anymore.... “wrong again”! I was charged all the way until March 3 over $70 a month then was charged a $99 cancellation fee. That’s over $450 for 2 visits to this POS gym that did not conduct one on one training. Made a special trip back to the states to visit family and get this s*** figured out and was told that my account had never been cancelled 🤷🏻‍♂️. Well I decided I couldn’t fight it so I might as well go home... way to treat your military UFC.

Great gym to get in all around great shape. They have a variety classes and each class can be shaped into whatever level you are at. I have multiple gym memberships but this in the only gym that feels like a family.

Signed my kids up less than a month ago and they hated it. Manager at the North Richland Hills Tx gym told me I had to give a 30-day cancelation notice. How do you give a 30-day cancelation notice when the kids just started? The reason I canceled their membership is due to the fact my kids thought it was going to be truly disciplined to help them learn mixed martial arts. Anyways I told the manager I will have to just do a stop payments and he stated thats fine I will have just have a balance. Totally unprofessional and glad i took my kids out within the first 30 days.

Rick makes all the difference. Amazing group of people now that that douche bag rudy left! Any way go in ask for rick. I can honestly say he has YOUR best interest at heart.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The General Manager will not return phone calls, front desk staff makes excuses why you cant talk to a manager. They will not cancel your membership after repeated times of trying to cancel. STAY FAR AWAY.....THIS PLACE IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM..

For $70 you get what you paid for, this is a great place to work out if you want to get in shape but if you want to train in MMA you should look at other schools, the coaches are nice but the MMA class does not teach too much, Coach Gilbert teaches boxing and is the only class I truly learned from he is great, Coach Victor teaches some classes and he also teaches but every other coach does not really teach, you have to sign a contract and if you cancel to have to buyout half of the months left on that contract, I recommend this gym if you want to get in shape and meet nice people and nice coaches. If you want to train in MMA then train elsewhere.

Basically if you like a class based gym then this place is for you. Weight lifters beware this gym is not for you. 1 bench and a room full of dumbells and mind you there not even in the same room thats it. Everything else is cable. I walked in twice to work out here got frustrated and walked out within minutes. I was sold on the fact this place would be set up like plano with hammer strengths and so on....NOPE. Theres even marketing videos and pictures of there website that arent even of this facility. Ive been signed up since late November early December and was excited when this facility finally opened up. I cant tell you how truly dissapointed I was especially for what they are charging. Already cancelled my membership. Glad I signed up for Texas Family Fitness on the other side of 35. 12 bucks a month and 20,000 more Sq ft.

They kept my card number and almost a year later have STARTED CHARGING AGAIN.I disputed with my cc company and they refunded.Now they turned into collections!!!I have had to hire a lawyer.RICK IS DISHONEST!DO NOT GO NEAR THIS GYM.I WILL FIGHT THIS TO THE END.

I joined this gym in December 2016 as a way to get in some cardio. When I walked in to get some information I was greeted by Danny and he gave all the sign up info and discussed fees with me. He followed up a few days later with an offer to try out a class for free - I did and it was great. Ive been consistently working out here now for a few weeks and I love it. The price is right for an MMA gym that offers so many classes, Ive also had NO issues with my gym fees, and the coaches are great (they push you to your limit without pushing you away from working out). If youre looking for a fun way to cardio because you refuse to run - this place is for you! I LOVE the variety of classes and workout times they offer. If youre a morning person OR an evening person - this place has the perfect class for you. My experience at the NRH UFC gym has been nothing but positive throughout entire process, but of course I cant speak for everyone; try it out and see for yourself - if youre up for the challenge of training differently.

I cancelled over 9 months ago and charge for 7 months till I cancelled my bank card. They hv run cancelled card with no luck 42 times. I get the email from ufc every time they try. If things don’t change I will show other stuff they do.

This gym is a place where you would expect the owner of the establishment to commit fraud. leave while you still can
