Pat is the best British car mechanic youre going to find around the area absolutely fantastic
Pat the owner is a great and knowledgeable Jaguar technician. Hes been working on English vehicles for many years and knows the nuances especially of 70s and 80s jaguars. Its the best place around Boston to take your XJS for relaxed old school and personal expertise.
I have been using Patrick for years. Unfortunately my XJR and I had to part ways. But he is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend this place.
Absolutely horrible. The problem was with air conditioner. On our first visit ( oh yeah, we had had to come again), he put some clams, so we had only cold air, but no heat. Thats how he fixed it. That costs us $200. When we said its not good enough and it needs to be actually fixed, he said that he is not sure what the problem is. Really?! Then he called and said that he figured whats wrong and will order the original part. We were told that it will take a couple of days. 3 weeks later he got the part, but not the original one that we were promised, and when we asked if its going to be as good, we started give as an attitude and went all defensive and ride. At this point we were done with it. I will not advise anyone to go there. There is a great shop in Brookline and another one in Beverly. I wish I would found them earlier
Peter knows Jaguars inside and out he is a very trustworthy technician I always enjoy bringing my car there. Always reasonably priced.
Patrick has a strong passion and knowledge for all things British. If you own a Land Rover/Range Rover or Jaguar of any vintage, you owe it to your car and yourself to call Patrick. Thanks For being the only option for us!
Patrick was great! I went to him on a recommendation and I couldnt have been more impressed with his integrity and commitment to solving my engine issue. He wouldnt accept a dime from me until he could solve an odd problem I was having with my engine.
Had simple question, the gentlemen that spoke to me was very knowledgeable and hospitable.
To find a great mechanic who is honest and detailed in what he recommends for repairs and preventative maintenance, you could do no better than Patrick Devaney at Catricks in North Reading Ma.~As a new client of his, Patrick did a complete eval of my 1995 Jaguar XJS Coupe and charged me nothing.~He then gave me estimates on needed repairs and showed me EXACTLY what he would be doing.~I would recommend his business to anyone, but especially vintage British made vehicles.
Love PatrickI drive a Audi A6 & after I bought it I was referred by a friend to have him check it out. He was truthful honest and responsible with pricing.
