Fantastic experience. I was in pretty rough shape after quarantine and working solo for the better part of 2 years. I needed to be cleaned up for my anniversary, so I wanted a good cut and trim. 40 bucks and it was a social media worthy cut (if I did such things). You get what you pay for and this was the best Ive ever had.

Got a haircut today. Made the appointment online, easy to do. Walked in and out. Got a great cut. Check Omar the barber out.

Typically when a customer calls a store is because they have questions. Are you cash only? What type of hair do you cut? Do you prefer masks? How long has your potential barber been cutting hair? Even if its appointment only how behind schedule are you? If you try and call this place they will press the f u button on you followed by an automated text message saying to use booksy to book an appointment. Went on booksy and easily found a better more customer orientated barber. Thanks for saving me $75 Ed!

This is the 2nd time that Ive taken my toddler there and each barber has done incredible work. Today we had Omar and he was awesome. My toddler looms so cute with his new big boy haircut. Thank you!

2nd time to this place trying to give them another chance but the same issues. I booked an appointment and have to wait a half an hour to 45 minutes outside. No regard for keeping customers timed appointments this will be my last time coming here.

Called the number multiple times and no answer, Ive approached the door and they just look at me like theres a pandemic going on. Thats a joke, obviously theres a pandemic but would be nice if someone just gave me directions to set appointments next time if Im making the efforts to atleast be at the door. Overall never been yet, so thats the only issue i have.

So been going there since I moved here in July. Best haircut I’ve ever had and literally tip him double the amount of the haircut, but have to part ways after my experience 1/11/21. Had a 9am appt. got in the locked door by 905, sat down, got apronned up and Ed disappeared never to be seen again and I finally left at 925. No phone call or email to apologize. Not sure what that was all about, but good luck with your business

I have taken my son here for years, after Covid, they turned to locking the front door and appointment only on an app. No thank you. I understand the Covid stuff, but I’m not going to continue business with a locked front door. Peace out.

$30 for a haircut? Forget this place. Not worth the value!

I have been going to Ed the Barbers for years now. I always leave feeling fresh and new. These guy treat a hair cut and a beard trim like its a special event. The detail and time put in is remarkable. Outstanding, gentlemen!

They were a little behind schedule for our appointment but pleased with my sons haircut. Their environment is also very clean and wiped down the chairs after every customer.

I would give it a zero but someone came to the door. The open light was on but nobody answered the phone or doorbell. Finally I was told I needed an appointment but there wasnt a sign anywhere. The guy was rude and not helpful in the least. DONT GO THERE!

Ed the Barbers Shop is everything a guys barbershop should be. Great vibe, awesome barbers and clean as hell cuts. From the minute you walk in the door you KNOW you are in a real old school shop, but this is not your grandpas barber. There is street art on the walls, solid sounds from the radio and trimmers getting guys cleaned up tight. I have been looming for this type of shop since I moved here from the city and THIS IS IT! Every 2 weeks I am there! If you want a real shop this is the only game in North Port. Great hours for working guys and open late!

Best barber in town, puertorican, Dominicans style, very friendly place but on weekends need to call ahead if u don’t wanna sit for a few hours. Love this place.

Excellent walk-in service. Brought my 3 sons in for cuts without appointments and 3 polite and experienced barbers faded, lined and designed them in less than an hour. All 3 cuts were phenomenal! Shop was clean and has really cool graffiti art deco on the walls. Well be back!

Nice atmosphere, clean facilities, and best of all, a great haircut. I saw J.J. today and received excellent service. Be advised that they are cash only, but if you do forget, you can use the ATM in the shop or get cash back at the convenience store next door (up to $40) for a $0.45 fee. Thanks again.

Just moved to the area. First time here and Moses did a fantastic job on my cut. Great price for the quality of the cut. Definitely found my permanent barber. Highly recommend!

Love these guys. Takes a little while to get a chair but its totally worth the wait. These guys are precise in every cut they do down to an OCD level of perfection. If your looking for that type of sharp cut, you need to go check them out!

Prices were outrageous compared to every other barber in town. I morally go to Izzy in Charlotte Harbor, his barber shop is the gold standard, so one day found myself with a little time and went into Ed the Barbers shop and was overwhelmed with pricing. Easily double for basic services and a cut and shave was at least $55, where Izzy is at most $25. No wonder there was no wait, but I get great service with Izzy and there is no way the extra $30 is worth it.

Had a new barber today, could tell from the get go, did not too bad a job. I think he was a little intimidated by the fact Im a woman, and didnt have much hands on with cutting a females hair. Given time and practice, hell become a pro in no time though, as the barber shops quite busy!

They were quick, professional, great at cutting hair, and very welcoming to a guy whos never been there before. Definitely going back every 2 weeks to get cleaned up

Took my son, dropped him off and when I picked him up I was pissed. It looked like a sloppy mushroom on his head. Had I been present at checkout, I wouldnt have paid until it was fixed. Went home and did the best I could to fix the mushroom, but there was only so much I could do considering there was a hole. Extremely dissatisfied.

They do not take credit or debit cards though they have a sign on their door saying they do. Instead they have an atm in the back which charges you a service fee. With the $3 service charge and the $2 my bank will charge this haircut was a ripoff. Plus it isnt a very good haircut. I will not be going back.

Waiting 20 minutes to have somebody walk in to get in front because they were there a hr ago so me another customer had to wait longer so we both left. Thought there was no appointments.
