They did my dogs nails with a grinder. It was quick and created a smooth nail and it didnt hurt my dog. Cost was only $15

They have a limited selection of available pets, probably because people arent really coming to the beach to get them.... which is sad for locals, I recommend traveling to Myrtle Beach, or Shallotte.

A great store for all of your needs item wise, but the customer service can greatly improve. Staff has not seemed friendly and come off standoffish at times. The pet salon is amazing though .

The manager of the grooming center is so so rude dont take your animals here to get groomed they will just charge you over price.... Ive been coming here for 9 years my dog hasnt gained or lost weight at all today I was charged an outrageous amount to get her groomed I normally pay around 60 now its 80... just outa the blue cause the manager thought that was reasonable... she should be fired treating a good customer for years telling me I should maybe find another groomer if I dont like their NEW pricing

Super nice staff at the grooming salon good prices and huge selection. This petsmart is a very clean establishment and well kept as in nice floors and clean racks. The bathrooms were spotless and clean also including no odors throughout the store. Definitely will be going back there due to how gentle and easygoing the staff was with my pup. Would recommend to anyone not only friends 5 stars, I would give more if I was able to.

I have been very pleased with the grooming services until the last grooming appointment. It hasn’t even been a week, and it looks like my dog needs to be trimmed again. When I picked him up at the groomers, he looked great. Upon looking closer, we noticed that the fur on his paws was never trimmed. He was trimmed too close around the eyes, his butt and his tail fur was chopped off in length. The price fluctuates too. They charge more around the holidays?!? I won’t be going back.

I had three gift cards from a friend for Petsmart and spent over $100 and was thrilled with my purchase the variety of cat food and the reasonable price that I had to pay which was only a few dollars on my debit card!

We shop here often with our dogs. The veterinarian clinic is awesome. They recently saw our dogs and operated on one of them. They are so professional. They even called prior to surgery to address any concerns we may have had about the procedure. I highly recommend Dr Black. She is so friendly. The entire staff loves animals so much.

Every visit we are greeted with knowledgeable staff that love pets - and seem to love their job too :) On our most recent visit, my son and I came to Petsmart to find a few items for his new hermit crabs. We also grabbed some cat food for the feral cats in our area - they are loving their new dry and wet food :) Lastly, most importantly, we grabbed a last minute toy for our doodle, Maggie Mae! It is the red geometric rubber toy with a small tennis ball inside. She tosses it around trying to get ball out, chews on it, tosses it in my son’s lap, pushes it around, she just loves it! A great last minute grab for like $4! 🐶

Grooming services are wonderful! They really love what they do and treat your furrbaby like its theirs. They even make time to play after they are finished while your furrbaby is waiting for you to pick them up!

Good selection of dogfood & treats. If youre looking outfits for your dog, youll probably have to order it. Always good service.

Had what I needed although I had to look for it.

It seems like every time I go in there to pick up food for my cat youre out of exactly what I needed so evidently a lot of cats are eating what my cat eat so I have started ordering on chewy.com to have everything delivered here without me even having to go out so I will save on gas and also my time you just dont keep the store stocked like you should.

They groomed my two dogs. A wash for one, a cut and wash for the other. And nails trimmed and ground. Did a nice job. But no bow again.I tried a couple other places because Id rather not shop at box stores. But theyve done a better job than the local places I tried.

I found a wonderful little hamster and everything I could use, but the service was a little slow, not enough help.

Employees are awesome, good deals that come & go, but it is a small store.

Well here I am again, 3rd time in three weeks and 3rd time I was told your item will be in on Thursdays shipment and 3rd time I am here and it is NOT. In todays modern world with automated inventory ordering and computerized systems I cannot understand why in 3 attempts they are unable to know for sure if something is or isnt coming in. On the plus side, the staff is friendly, clearly all animal lovers which is GREAT and while they try their best to accommodate you, it is outside their hands if the warehouse and shipping areas cannot keep the store stocked with products, especially ones that keep selling out and are being requested repeatedly by customers (Did they ever think, maybe we should order extra since they keep selling out, just a thought....)...

Unfortunately the rating is based on the fact that they at first did a great job on our dog but could never keep our dogs information on file. Now even though he has been there before they won’t muzzle him to trim his nails and he is old and crotchety. Seems to be the norm at the “chain stores” but I’m confused because he has been there before, how did they manage the times before? He was crotchety then too.

This is a nice and new location. My problem is that it has never been adequately staffed when Ive come here. My mother has waited for 15 minutes for help, and we decided to simply climb the ladder ourselves to grab the animal crate we needed. Ive never had a short wait in line because of few people on register. Recently, there was only 1 staff member working who was so kind, helpful, and apologetic. Unfortunately, there was little cleaning and floor work done, which was not her fault due to the long line, but the store smelled like animal waste. The smell was so strong, it went through my mask! This location needs to greatly expand its number of employees if it is going to continue to succeed. I dont want to return simply because of the horrible smell I encountered this week.

A little pricey, but service is excellent. Will continue shopping there for my pets needs.🙂

Deceptive practice, Banfield Animal Hospital located inside Petsmart is totally separate and Not affiliated with Petsmart.On Friday 11/20/2020 we took our newly adopted dog for a complete work up at Banfield and were completely satisfied with their service. Due to the stress level of the dog we were prescribed Trazodone which is very mild for stress relief to give her prior to grooming at Petsmart today, 11/22. We arrived at Petsmart and informed them and we were told they would not groom the dog on this medication. I explained their Vet prescribed it two days ago for this grooming and the Manager told us Banfield only rents a place there and are not a part of Petsmart. Who would have known? We believed as most would they’re a part of Petsmart to find out they’re not. At the very least you’d think they’d be familiar with each others policies. We purchased a contract with Banfield as we’re full time in an RV believing Petsmart and Banfield were affiliated and we could always find a vet. With that said this may not be true and feel this was extremely deceptive on the part of Petsmart.

Fully expected not to find a parking space & have everyone be cranky with it being black friday. Plenty of parking, staff, & even other shoppers were friendly.

Went to get Pet friendly yard spray. Lady was not helpful, they had the Shampoo yet not the yard spray. Instead of helping me, she referred me to Home Depot. I NEEDED PET FRIENDLY THATS WHY I WENT TO A PET STORE..I have purchased this spray at another Pet store yet thought Pet Smart would carry it also..Employee continue to tell me how she had problems with triggers sprays & how she did things...DID NOT HELP ME FOR WHAT I WASTED MY TIME TO CHECK PET SMART. WILL NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN...

This used to be a 5 star groomer salon I am not sure if stores managment changed or what I have been taking my dog there since they opened usually have good service thats why I stayed with them. Its seems even though u set up an appointment every 5 weeks they can never do that.

I know it’s not the store’s policy to cut off returns during a pandemic but this policy is so stupid. You are allowing people inside your store and customers are NOT practicing social distancing, yet you will not take a return. Did you ever consider people might need their money?

I shop at this store all the time. The staff are friendly and helpful. I appreciate the attention to detail they provide. I witnessed to employees checking a shipment of mealworms today to make sure they were not over heated. I was impressed with the compassion they were showing for the animals there and the product quality they are selling to the public

I couldn’t post without giving a star, but they deserve a ZERO star rating. I tried to use a $10 off a $10 minimum purchase coupon at the store in North Myrtle Beach on a purchase of $39.00. The cashier not only made us wait in line for another five minutes while she meandered from the back of the store, she was INCREDIBLY RUDE! When the coupon didn’t work, she said that it must not work on my purchase. I told her that I didn’t see any on the coupon. She, in a very rude tone, asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. I said that would be fine. She left the register to go look for the manager and came back. The line had gotten longer so I said to not worry about it because the line was getting long. When the manager finally came up, the cashier told her not to worry about it anymore. Won’t shop there anymore. Ever.

First time taking our Yorkshire Terrier to PetSmart. Our dog is only six months old. We were very pleased when we returned to pick up our dog. She looked like a new dog! The prior groomer did nothing like Monica at PetSmart, North Myrtle Beach, SC did. Monica trims with skill and precision and she did grinding of the dogs nails (for once we could see the difference). Total price was $52.00 (3/7/18) but when you work on a young, hyper dog and do the outstanding job Monica did, well it is worth the price. Thank you PetSmart for having Monica on your staff of groomers.

Usually on Saturday they have pet adoption events available from Paws Place R.A.C.E, Brunswick County Animal Protective Services the Humane Society and a bunch of other volunteer organizations.
