Banana Boat was a great time! I would highly recommend you hold on tight but it was fun.

Took my daughter on the banana boat ride and drank a lot of salt water lol. We had a blast! The driver stopped 3 times to give us a chance to get the water out of our eyes. I wore sunglasses and it helped alot but still got a lot of water. I sat in front though but loved it. Driver checked to see if speed was too fast or too slow 4 or 5 times. Very accommodating staff. We enjoyed our experience so much that we came back the next day for parasailing. Again super friendly staff with wait stations so you knew where to go. They fit us in our harness and got us ready for the boat. All around a superb experience and would recommend them highly!

Everybody was nice but the one girl who was in the boat when you got ready to parasail she was rude and scarstic I was told to tell her i had a picture package and my hand was marked and she scarasticly said oh is that what that is I didnt know so rude and was rude to my son for not landing on his feet when the ride was over ( this can be harder than it seems for bigger people). She ruined the whole experience just a rude person I am sure her co workers agree they looked annoyed too. Will never be back

This was the first time my cousin and I did this. It was awesome. The people after us were late so they just kept us out there. We were in the sky for 25-30 minutes. We had an awesome time from the ride to the parasailing boat to the parasailing experience and the ride back it was wonderful. The view while we were up there was amazing and they even unexpectedly dipped us into the water. We received an SD card with about 100 photos and a video to prove to all we did it. We will definitely do it again and will do it with Atlantic water sports as they were just great, awesome and funny. They helped make the experience even better. All around amazing. Anyone considering this should do it with this company!Thanks guys for the extra time in the sky! It was greatly appreciated! Your the best.!!! If I could give 10 stars I would! We will definitely be return customers! Maybe next time we will try something else you offer as well!

The experience was super fun! Sadly all the pictures and even the video i received was horrible quality. Express water sports have more expensive parasailing rates but cheaper picture packs with better images. I was extremely disappointed to see how bad my pictures were compared for fellow friends.

While it was fun. And the owner is kind. The photographer was horrible and we were promised between 50-90 pictures with a few short videos and received 9 horrible pictures that were all blurry. Do not waste money on this place. Travel a few more minutes north for cheaper and way better deal. Paid over $215 for no pictures at all that can be used. This was a once and a life time adventure for me to share with my kids and they ruined it. To top it off while getting ready to go up in the air the captain states they need to hang out the sail because the wind was changing. They could’ve waited to announce that and not put fear into my children. Check out these pictures. It sucks that we went here based off their “reviews” only to find out they are a joke. Again save money and run. Do not use this company at all. I’d add more pictures but they are just they same blurry pictures of the same thing. Hoping they refund my money for the pictures. What a waste. Disappointed to say the least .

This place is a sham. For starters, we didn’t get out in the water over 3 hours after our reservation time. We booked 11 people for the dolphin tour and when we got there they didn’t have enough life jackets. They took us out in incredibly dangerous waters, left us out in the middle of the ocean with NO guide or ranger, haggled us all to buy insurance AFTER we already paid, were in our life jackets, etc. They made us surrender our drivers licenses to ride (WHICH WE LATER FOUND OUT IS NOT COMMON PRACTICE) and refused to return them until the police got involved. This was 24 hours later and we had to extend our vacation time just to do so!!!!! They illegally charged the credit card of the wife of someone WHO WASNT EVEN THERE FOR $1000 because someone in the party supposedly scratched a ranger jet ski. They asked us to sign papers saying we DECLINED insurance coverage when we in fact did not. When asked to provide a copy of their insurance policy or PWC inspection reports, they refused. When we tried to pay the deductible as stated on the contract with a credit card, Eric, the manager refused to let us pay with a card or to provide us with a receipt. We were supposed to get photos but the camera got wet. We were initially told we couldn’t get a refund but they finally gave us the $35 back when they realized it’s illegal to charge for a service not provided. And of course we didn’t see dolphins. Do not rent here!!!!!

Best time ever! This was my, and my wife’s first time parasailing. Everyone at Atlantic was friendly, patient, and very safety conscious. After a 5 minute safety video, and getting strapped up, we headed out to the boat via motorized raft. The raft and boat were in great shape and clean. all of the equipment is in very good shape. There communication was excellent and there were no surprises or issues. My wife and I went first (the boat takes a few couples out at a time) and absolutely loved it. We were up there a decent amount of time, so it wasn’t like it was over in 2 minutes. This was worth every penny! We also decided to get the photo package which was awesome. For 35$ we got to keep the SD memory card which was full of pictures and a few short video shots. I absolutely want to do this again next summer, and Atlantic Water Sports is the only place we will go. Hopefully my son and daughter will do it this year! Highly recommend these guys!

Friendly and Amazing staff! Best place to go parasailing and banana boating in north myrtle beach. I’ve gone to different locations in the past but this was by far the best. My 6 year old daughter was extremely nervous but the staff helped ease her fears. We also took a ride on the banana boat. Little bit of a workout but it was fun. Great experience, kids had a blast. We will be back.

This company is great! They did a wonderful job with everything. I was searching for a place that provided an easy and flexible ride while being fun and adventurous at the same time. Atlantic Water Sports did just that! 👍🏼👍🏼 From keeping us informed about the water conditions, to ensuring we knew all the necessary safety info, to doing their best to facilitate opportunities to see wild life, this company knows their stuff. They answered all of our questions and had fair pricing. It was also a great experience to go out right from the beach! I would highly recommend them to anyone who would like to enjoy a great jet skiing experience.

Highly recommended Atlantic Watersports. 5 stars. They were very professional and family friendly. Took my wife and kids parasailing and banana boating. They let us go banana boat for half price since we parasailed first. My wife and kids loved every minute. They even had umbrellas and chairs for my parents to use while we were on the water. We will be back next year!

Rented a jet ski and had a great time. The water was REALLY calm the day I went ... was hoping for some bigger waves to ride but obviously they cant control that. Appreciated that the rental was right on the beach (ocean side) ... most others are not. The jet ski was very nice - fairly new, plenty powerful - governed at about 40mph, but thats typical for rentals. I took one star because as others have commented, I didnt go out near my reservation time. Had to wait for the previous group to return which was about 30-40 minutes, but waiting on the beach isnt the worst thing in the world! Also, since previous reviewers had issues with the pictures, Ill put in my 2 cents even though I didnt get any pictures. We parasailed the previous day at Aloha Water Sports and purchased the picture package their for $50, so the $35 price others mentioned seems like a bargain. But at Aloha, we were able to preview the pictures before we bought them and they were really good. I might suggest to Atlantic that they allow customers to preview the pictures before deciding on purchasing them.

Didn’t really enjoy being called kids at 30 years old with my own children but that’s personal preference. Zodiac driver was super nice and cool. Parasail crew could get a reality check. I’m 6’4 and my wife is 5’4 I didn’t think the captain could see her waist and the fact she wasn’t wearing a harness, could of just said ok, thanks, or nothing honestly but instead went to belittle the remark with snide comments. But the parasailing was fun overall glad we went. Oh and almost forgot. Bring sanitizer cause during these pandemic times they don’t clean life jackets or harnesses between customers.

Through the years (MANY years) we have used Atlantic Water Sports for all of our Water Sports needs. Banana Boat rides are a must each year. Every year I am happy to see the same operator out there on the ski. He has always given us a good ride and read the conditions and riders abilities well. This year since my kids are getting older was the most fun we have had since when I was a teen riding. We have parasailed a few times and have had no complaints with that experience. The real treat this year was getting to take the kids out for a ride on the jet skis. We loved it, even in the rough water. I hope to return again this coming year and do it all again. Thanks guys. Please dont go anywhere and keep up the great work.

A once in a lifetime experience! I’ve done multiple boat-related activities throughout my life and Atlantic Water-sports definitely topped them all! Parasailing was absolutely amazing and my niece and nephew loved Banana boating. The staff is so entertaining and willing to answer any questions you have. Definitely a must for tourists and locals of North Myrtle Beach!

Just rode the banana boat with my girlfriend and it was a nightmare. The guy pulling us thought it was funny to try to make us fall off and give us the roughest ride possible. I was bleeding from multiple wounds by the end and my girlfriend was a nervous wreck having been beaten and fallen off a couple of times. Our captain thought it was hilarious though. I had to make him take us back early. Whereas I know its supposed to be somewhat rough and fast, this was completely different from the several other times weve ridden banana boats. This was intentionally trying to hurt us for his own amusement. Im a pretty active dude and enjoy other similar activities so I know the difference.

We had a party of 5 for the banana boat b4 10am. It was great. A wild ride but safe and professional. Friendly & welcoming staff. Umbrellas and chairs for the ones who are spectating.Having been to some of the other competitors in the area, I would recommend this one for sure.

My 16 year old and I rented your jet skis today and it was AWESOME!!! I’d never been on anything like that before and was nervous but the crew was great and took all my fears away. My son had the time of his life!!! He can’t wait to do it again!! I honestly haven’t seen him smile like that in a year. (a year ago he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and now needs insulin numerous times a day to stay alive, it has been a really horrible year for him in and out of hospitals)But today he had so much fun!!! We will definitely go again before we leave town, the jet ski team made everything so easy, and made me really feel safe! The whole experience was so easy and they really took care of us!! Great guys and gals! They were so organized!!We also did parasailing the day before and it was also a lot of fun and a great bunch of guys & gals too but we had called and made a reservation and we weren’t even in the air until 2 1/2 hrs later, wish I knew it was going to be such a long wait, we would’ve brought waters & more sunscreen.But over all very fun times here in North Myrtle with the Atlantic Watersports Team.Thank you all, Amy

Great time this morning on the banana boat!Great price - at least 15 mins out on the ocean. Driver was awesome and kept us safe while giving us all a thrilling ride!Paid the extra $10 for the driver to take pics of the family while riding; worth it!Definitely will come again!

Went parasailing with my wife, while Ill admit I was scared beyond belief, due to being terrified of heights, the staff was awesome. Captain and first mate showed us a good time, were knowledgeable, and very friendly. I landed safely back on the boat, and was taken safely back to shore. Would 100% recommend these guys to anyone. Awesome ride on the banana boat. Would have given 5 stars but they didnt explain to us that at the speed the boat goes. You get sprayed with the salty water and burns if it gets in your eyes. So you either keep your eyes open and endure the burn or you close your eyes and miss the view.There were a lot of jellyfish in the water so if somebody fell in due to the cross waves, you may or may not get stung by the jellyfishOverall it was a fun and new experience. Would do it again.Just hold on tight and enjoy the ride.

Im sure its a fun time but we never actually got out in the water. We made a reservation for 2pm and by 315 we were not out on the water nor were we given our life jackets and harnesses. I have a 7 month old and cannot be away from him for more than a few hours. I understand that the wind is a factor that cannot be accounted for but the attendants flat out lied when they told us that we would be leaving in 20 minutes. If they had called and told us they were running behind I would be writing a different review. 2 stars because they gave us a refund.

Best part of my Myrtle beach vacation! I did the banana boat, the captain was absolutely amazing! He really made the experience unique and memorable! People are professional but could be a little more friendly. We had one person who couldnt ride due to weather so they refunded $60 to us. Boat captain was very good and professional. Also, do NOT buy the photo package. Little effort was put into it and we didnt get any shots worth keeping of the parasailing itself. Take a water proof phone or go pro. Also, you WILL get wet on the ride out in the tender boat to the main parasail boat.

Went today at 245... rented 3 wave runners for 1.5 hours... from start to finish they were very professional...The waverunners were 2019 models and were easy to ride... they even provided a guide during your ride...Me and my wife fell off the wave runner way out in the ocean and the guide Showed up to make certain we were ok... the girl who checked us in and guided us through the process was very pleasant and made you feel very safe with their outfit... bonus.... we seen a shark 10 foot black tip...

The guides were great and the jet skis were fun. the problem i had was with the team preparing us to go out. our reservation was for 9:30am and we waited around for over a hour waiting for them to put gas in the jet ski and put them in the water. most of the time they were standing around talking. if your going to have people wait around that long please set up an umbrella and seating area i got sunburn just waiting to go out

I took 4 teenagers to go parasailing, they had a great time. However, my experience with the young girl behind the counter was rough. She was rude and condescending while explaining the price and the disclosure to me. Not a please, thank you or have a nice day in sight. I let this go on for a bit, then I told her that she could treat me a little better since Im spending $240 with her and she didnt need to be so snippy with me. Then she started arguing with me about me calling her out! The managers watched this and did nothing to correct it. I guess business is so good they can afford to treat people like that. I dont expect the red carpet treatment when I spend money, I just want some courtesy. Next time were in MB, we will go to another outfit.

Strike it in the middle for me. We had a reservation for 10:30. We arrived at 10:15 and registered. We didnt get called until 12:00. But for my first time parasailing, I LOVED IT!! The registration and boating staff were AWESOME! The gals that work the vests station could be a little more friendly.

Completely agree with L WB. Photos were horrible. I wished I would have read this review. They charged 35 for photos. So best advise is not to take photography package and you will create better memory for yourself even with waterproof cell phone (just dont dip it in ocean to test this) and a selfie stick.Ride wise, I like this place. All staff are good.

Went for first time parasailing - loved & enjoyed. Knowledgeable crew and staff. Definitely recommend to others. I had a nice experience. But remember to carry cash - no card usage for any sports event. I enjoyed the zodiac ride and parasailing.

Horrible customer serviceWent banana boating, party of 5, went out for 9 minutes, when I asked the owner if they shortened there time he said usually they go out for 10 to 15 minutes, I said we won’t be back, the owner said. “ who cares, We have been in business for 30 years “. LOL

My boyfriend and I did the parasailing and the jet skis. The parasailing was absolutely amazing. The experience, the friendly staff, they keep you moving out on the water until its your turn to sail so you dont get hot or bored. The sail itself lasted about 10-12 minutes which seems so much longer up in the air. We did the jet skis with them the next day. That was an even more awesome experience for us. The staff is completely helpful and friendly. Very informative. Sarah is absolutely amazing! Special thanks to Sarah for going above and beyond for us. We went out on the water for an hour. Approx 13 miles from shore. The jet skis was our favorite part of our week vacation in myrtle beach. They do not take you through any no wake zones. I would recommend Atlantic water sports over and over again!

Went parasailing today with a friend. It was $120. Worth every penny in my opinion. We got a boat ride out to the main boat and stayed in the air almost 10 minutes. Then got to ride the boat while other passengers parasailed. Total time was about an hour between waiting to go out and coming back in. Lots of fun. Very nice staff all around.

Had a blast! I called the day before my family went to see how much itd be and the age limit and what not- we even got a great deal for the banana boat ride for the little kids who came along with us. When we got there, they gave us the two minute safety video and then right after that the people put us in our harnesses and not even 10 minutes after, we were on the boat on our way out to parasail. The people working were all around nice and caring. Definitely would go back and do it again!

My husband & I had a great time. The view was awesome & the crew was friendly. Decided to buy photo package for $25. Photographer said the memory card jammed & not to worry b/c he got some great photos. I was excited. We finally got home & out of all the images on the memory card there is only 1 clear photo. Im a little upset. Would parasail again but will not purchase photos.

Fly boarderWhat is the best activity on water ?The answer is fly boarding, from my personal experience the whole activity was worth each penny and entertaining.Its a new experience and something out of the box.The water pressure moves you up and a slight movement of the body can make you move on water.A must try activity is fly boarding

I had a great time parasailing with Atlantic Water Sports! The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also were very adamant about safety guidelines. Overall a great company and help ensure you have the best time possible!

Could not imagine a better experience! We were a group of 3 that called and got a reservation for the same day! Every single staff member was fantastic. As first time parasailing for all of us everyone was encouraging and knowledgeable! We purchased the photo package and although some pictures were blurry, how could they not be were on a moving boat in the ocean! Our photos turned out amazing!! We spent a total of 2 hours for the whole trip and will be coming back again!

I called at 9:30 to see about a reservation, and they said come on down. By 10 we were ready to suit up in safety gear and head out. The boat ride out was fast and exciting, and we loaded directly off of the speed boat onto the parasail. Marvin and his boat Capt were funny and fun, and gave us an unbelievable first time experience. My daughter and I had an absolute blast! Totally worth the money!! Ill be back!!Cool t-shirts, too!!Bring cash to tip the boat crew, FYI.

Banana boat ride was fun at first but when a friend fell off the driver did not turn around to come get her, and left her stranded in the middle of the ocean. We told him to turn around and get her but because of the far distance between the banana boat and the jet ski, the driver did not hear. He finally realized after about 20 minutes and when we went to collect her, he said “you good?” and was laughing which was completely immature and uncalled for, seeing as our friend was completely out of breath from trying to catch up and sobbing. Just was very unprofessional. Do not recommend.

My family and I would recommend Atlantic watersports to everyone we know. We came down for the week from North Carolina and had to come here 2 times Capt Marvin was amazing we all enjoyed him and the pictures he took from the banana boat ride. All of the employees was so knowledgeable. this was our first time getting on jet skis it was three of us and it was pretty rough water. All of the staff took their time with us explained everything over and over again very patiently. And then they sent someone out for each of us just in case we fell off which we all did LOL. I would definitely recommend Atlantic watersports. We will be coming back!!!!

Most fun I had in years. They brought out the kid in me. Parasailing was beautiful, but the banana boat ride was beyond what I expected. I havent laughed so hard, and had so much fun in too long a time. Will definitely be doing this again when we return next year. The staff were great, very warm and welcoming. The time you wait to ride, is well worth ut.

This place is a mess. We made an appointment to parasail and they called us to move it to the next day which was okay. But then we show up for an 8:30 appointment and we waited until 10 when we ask them when we were going and they told us that it would be another hour! We didn’t go but they could’ve had the decency to tell us that we were going to have to wait that long

Overall, the experience was good. Most of the individuals we came in contact with were very nice. However, the captain of the boat we got on to actually go parasailing was very rude.

Awful experience. Was shortchanged going in as a single. I had to wait through 8 people who came after I did, so I’m waiting on the boat missing my plans for the day. You go parasailing for around 5min and pay $60. The staff there refuses to honor refunds even after telling you the weather is bad. They expect you to spend $ on gas multiple times and try to wait you out until your vacation is over.

Atlantic Watersports is the best place to take your family parasailing and banana boating!! Took my boys (5 and 7) parasailing for the first time today. This company uses a shuttle boat instead of a banana boat to transfer people from the beach to the parasail boat. This method was much easier and felt extremely safe. After parasailing, my oldest wanted to ride the banana boat. They gave us half off the original price since we just parasailed. They even had umbrella and chairs for my wife and her cousin to sit at while we did our activities. 5 stars, highly recommend!!

We reserved for three people to parasail. When we got on the main boat, they would only let us do two. Not only could the three of us not ride together, the very expensive picture package we paid for did not include all of us together. I talk to the man in charge, and he was very dismissive and arrogant. He refused to address the situation. Then we got home to look at the SD card with our pictures and videos on it. They were almost useless. You could not even tell who was in most of the pictures. I would not recommend this place at all. Side note: You will get very wet, so dont take valuables. Our ride was very short. I dont mean to complain, but we wasted a lot of money.

Amazing time. All the workers were very helpful and patient. The whole process was super easy and all the sports were beyond fun.

Everyone there was helpful, courteous, and friendly!! Boat ride out and back was awesome and the ride in the sky was perfect!! We even saw a car hood sized turtle. Both of us were first timers😁

The best Parasail operation on the Grand Strand! Weve been sending our guests there for 20years and have never had one complain.Dealing with vacationers in an outdoor, often unpredictable environment is tough. Atlantic Watersports maintains a high level of customer satisfaction even when the weather doesnt cooperate.

First time para Sailing with my wife and son and had a tremendous time.Everyone form the people on the beach to the joke telling crew on the para sailing boat made the trip that much better.This is a must for everyone.Will be back again

Let me begin by saying the actual experience parasailing was great! The guy who drove us out to the main boat was awesome! That being said, we were not at all impressed by the staff and how they handled things. We originally had a reservation for 10am. At 9:30am that morning we received a call because a part on the boat needed serviced and we agreed to reschedule for 2pm later that day. No problem. We arrived at 1:45pm for our 2pm appointment and were not told they were running behind. We waited over an hour before at 3pm, we asked when we would be gearing up to go out to the boat. We did not actually get into the water to head to the boat until almost 3:30pm. We were not happy about the long wait, especially because no one bothered to give us the courteous of letting us know things were perhaps running behind. No one even apologized for the long delay. This was mainly an issue for us because we were heading to Wilmington that evening for the next stop on our trip and did not expect to be so long waiting to even get to the boat to parasail.We were also not impressed with the $25 digital picture package. Of our roughly 50 photos, about 20% of them were either horribly our of focus or we were out of the frame (shots of sky and a pair of legs). I would not recommend the photo package.Overall I was not impressed with the organization or customer service.

We had an awesome time today parasailing! The ride was great and they took extra time helping our 81 year old Mom experience her first parasailing ride! Highly recommend!!!

Have been going to Atlantic Watersports since 2002! What a class act! My family banana boats multiple times every year and most years we para-sail too! Have never been disappointed with this group. We highly recommend them as we just returned home from another great year in NMB including 3 excellent banana boat rides!The staff is very skilled and extraordinarily friendly and helpful!

Great experience. Decent prices, compared to other excursions on the beach. Their trailer is parked on the beach - park behind a sign and walk to it.

Me and my co-workers spent a day at atlantic water sports just this past weekend and had a time and a half. We went parasailing which was insane and then went banana boating (a thrill ride). I would recommend this place to anyone.
