The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful setting up my account. Since then, no one who works there has ever spoken to me, not even to say hello or goodbye when I enter or leave. No one cleans any of the machines after use. Cleaner and towels are sitting on a table by the machines, presumably so clients can clean them themselves. Today a gentleman got on a machine behind me and then began coughing like crazy. With the recent upswing in Arkansas of new COVID cases, it seems like someone would have spoken to him. The staff seems to have forgotten that this is a customer based business. The gym itself is well equipped and not all that busy. But the pool is dirty.
Big and spacious. Clean. The spin class was great! Just wish it was closer to me
The gentleman called me from the gym stating my fiancé ordered me a new membership. When asking questions about the facility the man got upset and starting mouthing off to me wouldn’t let me speak and told me he was removing my membership and hung up in my face. Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless you want to be bullied. I haven’t even got to use it yet ! Definitely want my money back now. Lost two customers
Great size gym and quality of equipment. Lacking deadlift platform and tanning. Basketball gym is always crowded because unlimited guests are allowed in.
I stopped coming to this gym last March when restrictions went into place. I contacted them and canceled. They called me and said my account was on hold. In June July and August of 2020 they charged my credit card. I reported fraud and the charges finally stopped. However I was never reimbursed for three months and that didn’t attend.
Clean and friendly! Polite and professional staff too.
Great place to workout. Definitely woukd recommend! 😊
Love this gym and the awesome members!! It’s a clean, safe environment and the positive energy is inspiring!
Clean, well maintained.
Same place LA fitness just new name.
LA fitness is a great place to get a good workout in...
I am enjoying working out. Using the treadmill, exercise bike, sit up machine, and shoulder reps.
This place has it all: A clean and open atmosphere, great equipment, tons of free weights, tons of cable machines, qualified trainers, and all the cardio you need. Additional features like full court gym, multi purpose room, mobility and stretching areas, pool, and sauna are all great pluses. They keep this place Clean, too!
This was a great gym to visit during a work trip. It doesn’t get very busy during the evenings and the staff keep it very clean. They have a good selection of benches, weights, and machines. The only reason I didn’t give it a five is because it gets extremely warm and stuffy. They need a better ventilation system. Lol
The parking lot could be packed here and when you walk in it doesnt feel over crowded like other gyms I have been too. The locker room is always clean and comfortable. I am able to workout and then get ready for work here no problem. I also love being able to get off work and come sit in the whirlpool to relax. Awesome place!
Huge shoutout to Will and his team in North Little Rock.Gym is extremely clean and well keptGlad to be back!Jamie Cobb
Good facility but don’t join their coaching program. It’s a scam. Have been a member since they opened and enjoy going there. Unfortunately can not say the same for their coaching program, it locks you into a contract. Good luck trying to schedule a session or cancelling.
Its big and open. Can always find a machine to workout on. People are courteous and let you cut in. Plenty of room for stretching and bodyweight workouts. Staff is always nice.
The gym area is nice, but if its humid outside its extremly hot and the little fans up in the loft do not circulate the air.Giving a lower review, however, because when I asked to cancel, they cancelled my account only and continued charging for my spouse. It was pretty clear I wanted to *cancel* not half cancel, and if the worker who originally handled the request was confused, he should have asked to clarify instead of continuing to charge us for a single membership.
I will agree that the sales reps are a but aggressive, but the price is reasonable on a family plan if you are going to go to the gym at least 5 times a week. Has a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and tons of machines. Almost never have to wait. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of the price. Its better than most gyms but I still feel like Im getting bent over.
Good gym. Very clean with good equipment. I just wish they had extended hours. If they opened at 4 am it would be much more accessible for me (i work odd hours).
While traveling to the Little Rock area I was fortunate to meet Brian Candler at LA Fitness. Brian was energetic, friendly and personable. Great asset to the LA Fitness team. The gym was immaculately kept with no waiting time for equipment. Great gym check it out and Brian will take care of you and your family!
I love this place! There are so many different machines to use I never get bored with my workout. The only complaint I have is that the hot tub isnt always clean. Sometimes it has a strong chlorine smell and sometimes it has a strong body oder smell. When it is clean though it is very relaxing.
Could be a nice gym. They have a LOT of policy flaws that I was aware of when signing up, but I didnt thing things would be this drastic. I did make the mistake in assuming the gym was 24 hours. Oddly enough, its not! Right now, at 7:50pm on a Sat. Its closed. Also, the VIP list. Dont bother with it. I was actually harassed while in the middle of my workout ABOUT my VIP list on my first day at the gym. When I finally did bring a friend, they begged them to sign up, always have this I can save you a lot of money if you sign up with me today, Ill waive the $99.00 initiation fee going on. It wasnt until my friend called them out for rudeness that they let us work out, because we were already out of our seats to leave. My biggest complaint about the overall gym is the hours and the need of a contract.
Outstanding gym! Best gym in the state in my opinion. Clean and well organized, with a large variety of equipment and free weights.
Love LA Fitness, been a member since it opened. The staff are humble and take care of the place. Even at peak hrs, there is still equipment and machines open. My only complaint is to ask, why is there no wifi at this location yet??? Besides that, this gym far exceeds my expectations and isnt even comparable to others around the area.
Clean, well maintained, with abundance of weights and machines. Staff is friendly and facility is rarely crowded. A bit over priced compared with competitors.
Facilities are nice, but the aggressive sales team will do everything in their power to upsell your free pass and dance around some of the intricacies of the contract. Very difficult to cancel early and its hard to get any complaints resolved in a timely manner because emails are forwarded around and no response is ever given. I wont be going back.
The workout areas are well equipped....But the pool and spa are disgusting...seems like itbis never cleaned properly...the tiles in the pool are dirty and dirt on bottom of pool floor.
This gym is over priced. This gym charges 40 - 60 dollars a month not including the 50 dollars annual fees you get billed. The thing I hate is being a new member your billed an annual fee. This happens the third month of you getting signed up. So you have to put down at least 100 dollars. Then next month pay 40-60 dollars then on your third month pay 50 dollars... ummmm that’s 269 dollars in three months.. the gym does not have CrossFit gym inside, no heavy bags, no hack squat, no places to perform deadlifts, no place to push Weighted sleigh, this gym does not even have a real pull up bar.. this gym has very basic equipment. Not to mention the gym charges you that much and doesn’t even stay open for 24 hours.. I paid 30 a month at 24 hours fitness in the west coast and they key word is 24 hour fitness and they had better equipment and Sunna. Not to mention the Sanna isn’t all that. It takes a long tile for it to get hot... your much better off going to 10 fitness or any gym that’s 10 a month... this gym is only here cause they or taking people’s money. By the time you realize your over paying its to late. The membership is almost the same if your were going to a CrossFit gym... keep your money go somewhere else
A lot of fun there but very pricey.
Very nice facility. Equipment is clean and the place it kept neat, unlike other gyms Ive been to. Staff is cool too.
Best gym ever owner is great always looking out for his customers best investment Ive made in myself in a long time
Really clean. Miami-Dade County LA Fitnesses should take notes. Could use an extra squat rack though, it has the room.
Actually one of the best ones, wish they stayed open late..
Super over priced, they will charge you a fee for anything they can think of.
Clean equipment, needs housekeeping on weekends, pool temperature is too hot some days, other days too cold. Staff always greet me with a warm smile.
Best spaced out LA Fitness ive been to, out of probably 25-30 different ive been in. Cool thing is, their dumbbells go up in 2.5lb increments too for those that like to go heavier on db instead of barbells. They max out at 100lb though with is a good amount lower than most. Very clean and fresh for a gym, but contributing that to it being brand new.
Awesome facility! Great equipment, awesome staff and very clean! Pool and sauna are pretty nice too....
Brand new as of December 2014. Pool, spa, sauna, classes, personal training, basketball, racket ball. Nice clean building. Friendly staff. Still seem to be working out some kinks, but a really nice gym.
Nice clean work out facility. Great place to workout first thing in the morning.
Awesome!!
Fantastic facility and management! Easily the best gym in the area. Youll love it.
I am suspicious of the reviews on this page. I note that almost all of the reviewers who give 5 stars have written only this one review or they are people who exclusively give 5 stars for all reviews.
Plenty of equipment and never over crowded
Great Gym VERY clean 😃
Great place to workout. Love going there
I signed up online for a 5-day free pass. Someone from the gym called me to setup a time for me to come use my pass. They told me to come prepared to work out. So, I got some workout clothes and showed up ready to go. Long story short, I did not get to work out that day and was not allowed to use my free pass.Sales rep Beau said everything he could to talk me out of actually using the 5 day free pass. That made me feel so awkward. He said, and I quote, We are the #1 rated gym in the country. Do you really think that a 5 day pass is going to help you decide whether or not you want to be a member here? Yes, of course I did think that. That is the whole point of signing up for the pass. I wanted to spend 5 days at the gym, working out, seeing the day-to-day activities, seeing how clean they kept the place, assessing the attitude of the employees and seeing if I like it.The company might be the #1 rated gym, but there is no guarantee that this particular location is meeting those same standards. Its more than reasonable to spend a few days checking it out.Im not confrontational. I just said that I hope it does and let him continue with the sales pitch. After a tour, fitness assessment, and an aggressive sales pitch, he gave me a total that I would need to pay to get started and sent me out the door. No mention of the free pass. So, he was right. I didnt need 5 days to decide, only 30 minutes. These sales reps are trained to see you as a sale and not as a person. They have a whole corner of the gym with desks and credit card readers that is completely devoted to getting you to spend money. Even car dealerships have less aggressive, less douchey sales people. The part that really bothers me is that their prices are fair. Bottom line is about $120 to get started and $50/month for 10 months on a family plan(and $100 if your end your membership. Same thing at other gyms). Thats not bad when you compare it to other gyms. But, this wall of sales they put up in front of the gym is a huge turnoff.I just want to come to the gym, not be bothered, do my workout, get healthy and go home. Why do they make that so hard?
I love the Zuma class
Clean. Friendly staff. Great equipment options. Not crowded during the day.
I do love this gym!! And nearly homes plus membership anywhere I cant wait rejoin this gym again!!
LA Fitness is very customer oriented and very friendly staff. Great facility and I highly recommend
Great place friendly and super clean
Here in town for work for a week very nice equipment and gave me a good deal for the week.
Chris and Brandon are the best!!! Top LA fitness ive ever been to
I love working here in the kids klub but before working here I was a member and I loved coming I was in the gym at least twice a week
Its a good gym but their hours are garbage. Closing at 6 on the weekends. What gym does that? If you work out late at night may not be the gym for you.
Nice facility, but not worth the money, poor management and harassment to spend more money. Dont expect great customer service either. If you take anything away from this it would be to avoid making LA Fitness your gym.If you want the details of my personal tipping point experience with this gym, please read below:A couple of years ago, I decided to join and sign a 2 year contract with LA Fitness. Last fall, I made a major career change and decided to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA, which commits me to a year of volunteer service, full time hours and poverty-level pay (ie: less than $1000/month). A month prior to this change, I began eliminating everything that was not absolutely necessary for living. This included my gym membership. I spoke to someone at LA Fitness in person and it was going to be around $90 to cancel my membership since I was still locked into my contract through March (understandable-thats the point of a contract). The young lady I spoke with informed me that I could freeze my account until my contract was up in March at $10 a month and that would be more cost-effective. So, I paid $60 for my account to be frozen (from October-March) and then the contract would be up and cancelled after that time.In April, I noticed that I had been charged $32.65 for membership. So, I decided to go in to follow up and ensure that the contract was cancelled. I was also hoping to have the $32.65 refunded since there was no reason in my mind to have been charged. However, it quickly became more complicated. The manager was not in (he only works from 9am-5pm). So, the employee had me fill out a form to request to cancel my membership and then told me I needed to come in again in-person to speak to a manager to try to get the charge reversed. The next day, the manager (William Graham) called me and told me that I would have to pay $48.92 to cancel my membership and that he would not refund me the $32.65. He informed me that when an account is frozen, your contract is extended the same amount of time that you choose to freeze your account. Since I froze the account for 6 months (to the end of my initial contract), my contract was then extended 6 additional months without any notification. So, here I am, paying a total of $141.57 to get this taken care of, which is $51.57 MORE than the original amount.I ended up calling a member service representative at LA Fitness corporate to try to explain the situation again. The woman I spoke with, Nicole, was a bit more understanding than William. She was able to refund me the $32.65, but I still had to pay $48.92.After I spent more money than was explained to me on the front end, made multiple visits and phonecalls, I can gladly say I am no longer a member at LA Fitness! It only took 7 months...

Beautiful facility, courteous staff, and fantastic equipment!
Its ok but you pay to much for it
The facility is clean and there are a lot of machines. Its never too busy and classes are decent. However, the front desk employees that I have had contact with are incompetent and rude.
I love this place!
Sat in the parking lot and lost two pounds!
Nice and clean
Its hard for me to get to the gym, they close really early! Especially on weekends >:(
