First of all, I will say that this used to be a great gym. That is not the case anymore... BEWARE: No free weights available for new members unless you pay for a premium membership. They are locked up in a separate room until you scan for access. No squat racks. No deadlift platforms. No barbells (even the small ones on the rack). No plate loaded press machines. No multi-use cable station. For basic members, there is simply one rack of dumbbells (maxed out at 50 lbs) and two Smith Machines available. AVOID AVOID AVOID IF YOU PRIMARILY STRENGTH TRAIN.Why did they lock up the rest of the free weights? Because of overcrowding and intimidation. 10 Fitness has officially adopted the Planet Fitness mindset. They refuse to purchase more squat racks or deadlift platforms despite the high demand. Their solution to intimidation is to hide weights from sight and charge members a penalty fee for using BASIC EQUIPMENT. Instead of making an effort to market the free weights in a more welcoming way, or enforce gym rules and dress code, they take away the option altogether. Gyms are no longer made for your health. Now they are made for comfort. Shame on the owners of this gym!REPLY TO OWNERS 8/27: The fact remains that new members have NO ACCESS to free weights unless they pay a premium. Smith machines and hack squat machines are not equivalent to a free weight barbell and rack. No other gym in the world makes you pay an extra fee for basic equipment like squat racks, bench press racks, and deadlift platforms. Grandfathering in existing members does not excuse this idiotic policy. You are not meeting demand. You are not creating a more welcoming atmosphere. And you are making overcrowding worse by cramming everyone into the now SMALLER free weights area.

Really good gym, plenty of machines and free weights! The only problem I have is people not cleaning the machines when theyre finished. Even without covid, its gross and I dont want to touch the sweat of someone else when going to a machine. Other than that, everyone is really nice and its never too busy!

To premium or to basic membership, that is the question. Basic you can come in a work out with cardio and weight machines...larger free weights is premium....They have lighter dumbbells for free members, hope 2 people dont want to lift the 20 lbs at the same time, there is only one of each weight set. If you are premium you can bring a guest, thats fun right...expect they can only do basic membership workout so they cant lift that heavy weight with you or do a class. If you friend is fine with the basic, they better only come in the daytime though, they are not staffed at night and guest needs to check in with a waiver, so your 24 hour visit isnt as 24 hour as you thought. If you are a loner that works out odd hours then I recommend 10 fitness, if you work out normal hours I would choose planet fitness...more locations nationwide and cleaner establishment.Edit after response from owner,.To clarify misunderstandings I showed up the next day (before my post) to the front desk asking if the they planned on adding a kiosk for liability waivers, they were unaware of any plans for kiosk, they claimed they were asking for it for awhile. So if it is true you are trying to get kiosk in the other branches you should probably let them know and in the meantime, even having a physical paper form for people to sign at the front desk would be cheap quick way of fixing the problem.My gym is moving all the heavier and free weight into a large room and saying with a sign its for premium members only. Its new so it isnt explicitly mentioned in the terms, but you did mention guests can attend classes which is against the terms in the contract. Allow me to quote from the terms members must sign to...Guests may not use tanning beds, massage chairs, kids club, group exercise or personal training. I thought the classes were group exercise so not cool your posting false information about guest perks.Finally about PF having cleaner gyms, you would this hope this isnt true. If you goto 10 fitness that has been there for years, there are no new cleaning stations added since covid, other than random announcement over the loud speaker you cannot tell covid is active. The PF sites have a cleaning station always with 20 feet from you. Cardio machines now have plastic barriers between machines to protect guests, but please dont just hope or trust my words, visit a planet fitness and a 10 fitness back to back, its good to check out your invading competition.

My experience with 10 Fitness-Maumelle has been and continues to be perfect. Convenience at its finest. I train here about 5 times a week and its always kept clean. Disinfecting spray stations are provided all over the facility for wiping down equipment before and after workout. Brandi and Chase are SUPER nice! I look forward to seeing them when coming in. Id highly recommend if looking for a gym in the Maumelle area.

Turns into a hangout after hours. It’s a sketchy gym if you workout want to utilize your 24hr access. Plus most of the people hanging out just stand around blocking the equipment. Once my 12 month membership is up, I’m out.

Before the pandemic this place was nice not sure how it is now. The trainers were ok. Its clean and new thats good enough for me.

Clean. Quiet. No strange men walking around ogling at me. Everyone at night disinfects after use. Pleasant work out during down hours! Recommend!

10 Fitness Maumelle is great, especially the Level 10 classes. The other members keep you motivated, and Clif is an amazing trainer - both PT and Level 10 (and his online training videos). I wouldn’t have met my goals without him. Henle is also wonderful; always in a good mood and positive/encouraging. The facility and equipment is kept clean. Definitely recommend.

Poor childcare. Rude personnel in childcare. Being a mom of 2 toddlers that was the reason why I didnt join this club.Yes, indeed, thats when i considered joining the gym. It was about February or March 2020. I came there with my 2 kids and the childcare was poor and I decided not to join it. It just took me a minute to sit down and write the review

First, I apologize to Ryan and Henle for the late review. You two provided outstanding customer service on the vigil of Thanksgiving.I have a long-term history with 10 Fitness prior to moving from Little Rock. I was a member of Bowman Fitness when Eric and his business partner to convert the business into something more unique, which is that of 10 Fitness. I attended it for several years simultaneous to a boxing gym for its overall excellent quality.Luck of the draw and while I was in town visiting family for Thanksgiving, traffic led me to missing the 430 S exit from Cantrell and taking N instead. It was my initial intention to attend the (also awesome) Rodney Parham gym. Wow; what a great location they have in Maumelle as well.Henle was a kind greeter and very reciprocative to my speech about my history. He provided a walk-through of the gym and was open to any further questions. During the time, Ryan acknowledged and provided affirmation. I couldnt have felt more welcome at a gym, and upon near-exit he inquired if all was well.Thank you both! Have a Happy New Year!

10 Fitness Maumelle has an amazing Level 10 class with the best trainer - Clif!!! He knows all of us by name, encourages us and corrects our form along the way. He’s excellent at PT, especially working with injuries. I hurt my foot/ankle and he’s working with me to keep me trained in ways that I can and is helping me to get back to the level 10 classes. Clean facility and friendly employees. Ryan, Chase, & Henle specifically. Henle remembers names like I’ve never seen before and welcomes each member by name.

I honestly cannot find the complaints from the other people who posted. Nice gym. Solid staff. Other gym members are nice too. Positive place. People respect each other and are considerate. 4.9 out of 5. Only thing I have to say is the water pressure on the water fountains is a little weak so bring a water bottle.

The staff is very welcoming, informative, and helpful. This location has a good layout, plenty of space, and many workout options. Ive never felt uncomfortably crowded here. The few gym goers I have spoken with were very courteous. The reason I dont give this location 5 stars is only because I have been to other locations that are even larger with more workout equipment and options.

Overall its pretty clean. They have a lot of free weight weight machines for the size, but only have 5 barbells at the moment total and only 3 of them are straight. It doesnt do much good if theres 2 squat racks, 3 bench racks, an incline bench rack, and a deadlift platform. Some of their weights arent as advertised. I picked up 2 7.5 lbs weights, and one weighed significantly more.

The music is louder than a club. My 400 dollar noise reduction headphones have to be on full blast or else I get to ingest repetitive dance triggers. Turn it down! Im pretty sure all the people with headphones wont care. At least give us a choice of having to hear that or not. Presumptuous to assume that you could make everyone happy. Just turn it down. Jesus!!!Update.......NO CHANGE. A one star review is generous.

I have been working out here for a couple of years now, and have been bringing my daughter here to the kid zone since she was 2 months old. The staff are not all great with little ones her age so we primarily work out when the wonderful Shay is working as she is great with our daughter. It is frustrating however that no one answers the phone here - I call several times to the gym and remain on hold for at least 5 minutes, and once I finally get a hold of someone I am just transferred to a voicemail. Not effective customer service .

The staff is pretty friendly for the most part. I love coming in early and busting out a workout. The machines are pretty nice for 10 bucks a month. The other folks who are working out there are also pleasant. The gym has a kids zone for an extra 10 bucks a month. I am looking at trying it if I go back to working out at night. It looks really nice. The facilities overall are great.

I always get greeted with a smile! There is always at least one person cleaning at all times which I love. And there is always someone who walks by and encourages me during my workout. Its very comforting!

The gym itself is fine. The equipment is good and the staff is very friendly. However, it is way overcrowded and this isnt 10 fitnesss fault its just the only gym in Maumelle worth anything. If you have been to Rodney Parham 10 fitness you would know that Maumelle needs to be larger. That is why I give it 4 stars. Way too crowded.

The staff here are friendly, and always greet you when you enter the building. They keep the gym very clean. I know whenever I go in, I will be greeted with a smile, no matter the time of day. Throughout the week (Monday-Friday) they are open 24 hours which is extremely convenient.

The water fountains are disgusting. Group classes dont have a lot of variety for time availability and doesnt work around my work schedule very well. Basically the best options are during work. If you want to cancel its a huge hassle and you better make sure you get confirmation in case they didnt really process your cancellation.

This extremely rude lady was complaining about childcare, and the people that were working handled her very professional.

Its 24 hours but they arent staffed at a certain point so they lock the door with a scanner to open it, so naturally it never works and I cant ever find staff to fix this problem. Sometimes I waste gas going here and end up going back home or to another location because the scanner wont work.

The 10 fitness app incorrectly states welcome to the 10 Fitness Gym app! This app contains all our locations... And yes, we are only a $10 month and no contract! however there is a $50 contract fee annually, there are also upkeep fees that must be paid prior to joining that range from $30-$50 depending on your membership plan. There are also fees for breaking the annual contract. The facility itself modern and well maintained and the employees are nice just be aware that there is a contract, there are 2 fees that must be paid upfront and there are fees for breaking the contract; contrary to what the gym advertises. The out of state call center that fitness 10 uses for membership services has said they are aware the information on the app is incorrect and that they are hopeful that it will be corrected soon..if that ever happens Ill adjust this review accordingly.

Best gym in town!

Awesome staff. Keep it cooled with plenty of airflow to keep cooled off. Super clean and plenty of equipment. Literally the best gym Ive ever been to. Live in NWA now and none are as good as this gym.

Nice value for your money. Plenty of machines and weights to use. A big aerobics room. Even has child care. No womens only room though.

Went with my bestie for the first time it was clean and a great experience

This place is going downhill every day. The paper towels by the cardio machines are always out, cleaning solution is always low or out regardless if its peak Saturday crowd or weekday. Yet the sign says to wipe down equipment, with what Im not sure. Staff is more concerned with talking/socializing/hanging out than doing anything. Id rather go out of my way to Rodney Parham location or might even switch to LA Fitness.

So they just recently went “24 hours” and apparently they didn’t think this all the way through. Yes it makes it more convenient but also inconvenient. You have the pre workout and bcaa and post workouts locked up, you need a vending machine. The coffee powder is behind lock and key, which makes no sense. If you aren’t going to be staffed until the middle part of the day at LEAST having something to compensate for the coffee like a kurig, or a vending machine for coffee and the other workout supplements. IDIOTS!

This is my favorite gym. The equipment, staff and atmosphere is always on point.

I suffer from allergies and the Maumelle location is extremely dusty. From the second floor you can see the duct work has a layer of dust on it and the exhaust fan in the mens room has a 1/4 layer of dust on it.

If you sign up plan on paying them forever even if you leave the state. I moved to Iowa and cant get them to stop the autodraft. Everytime I call I get told to email them. When I email nothing happens. Im close to getting a lawyer.
