I am So VERY Grateful for ALL the Associates at Lumber Liquidators! I had to elicit their assistance after my 1st installer attempted to GREATLY overcharge me! Either this company needs to hire more people or retrain the person that was working there. We came into the store and the employee was on the phone with a customer I guess. However that wasnt the issue. The issue was that he didnt even acknowledge us or ask us if we needed help. He did say, Ill be with you soon. We were in the store nearly 15 mins walking around looking at different flooring and he was still on the same call the whole time. We got frustrated and walked out after that. I understand that he was the only one working but acknowledged customer when they come in. At least tell them youll be with them soon.

I went to lumber Liquidators Saturday, the 21 of November. To pick up my butcher block countertops I ordered. The three guys there are awesome very helpful and full of knowledge This is what I like about doing business with a smaller company They treat you better then the big box stores.

Poor customer service. I went to pick up my order, and the associate asked if I wanted to leave and come back because it would be an hour before he could get my order together. I decided to wait because I had nowhere else i need to go in the area. Because I waited, he put my order together in 15 minutes and brought it out. No reason to ask me to leave and come back. Then we went on Sunday (today Jul 26) to pick up a second order because website says they open at 12pm. Nobody is there. No sign on the door stating they would be closed. Just all very lackadaisical and thats unfortunate for the customer.

I am currently working with BBB to have lawful action taken. I purchased bamboo flooring (from North Charleston Lumber Liquidators) with an understanding from the sales rep. this flooring was the hardiest out there and was virtually scratch resistant (with a total purchase cost of $5,241.07 with a Lumber Liquidator credit card). I even purchased a vacuum cleaner with a special attachment for hard wood floors. After cleaning the floors I had noticed there is scratches over 10% of the flooring (not from the vacuum) and all the end cuts of his quarter round are not painted. I called and shared with the complaint compartment about what was going on and all they have done is sent me paper work to fill out. I filled out the paper work and returned to person of contact along with pictures as directed. It has now been over THREE MONTHS with no action. The only information I receive from them over the phone or email is that they are looking into it. If I was you I would shop around and look at other companys products and work ethic before spending your hard earned money.

I called with a simple question if they carried a certain size cut of wood I’m after. It’s an odd size so I was polite enough knowing it was a long shot. I was met with “Absolutely not” and before I could finish saying “Oh, okay, thank you”, I was swiftly and audibly hung up on. I felt utterly dejected.I am sure Matthew must have been having a really hard day struggling with some large and personal tragedy, because it’s hard to believe someone would go about their day being purposely rude to potential customers, let alone polite strangers.Imagine how hard it would be to maintain an attitude of an insufferable miserable shell of a person, and to exhaust it on everyone you meet. Surely that’s not the kind of person Matthew is. So to whatever loss you suffered to bring you to such a low point, my condolences.Also I found some cool wood for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

When I went there to look at flooring their displayed flooring was all pealing & falling apart!!! I would never buy from them!!! People were nice & helpful, but just poor quality products.

Walked in the store 5min ago (10/23/19 @ 5pm) ready to discuss purchasing g flooring to have installed in my home. Upon my entry an associate looked right at me & no acknowledgement. Walked over to look at floor sample I want & there was another associate who neglect to acknowledge my presence. Needless to say, I walked out saying out loud Wow, guess my business is not wanted. Needless to say, I walked out very disappointed in lack of service/acknowledgement I received with both associates seeing me in store, whereas I was ready to discuss business.

Was excited that we found the floors we wanted on sale... The excitement ended when the employee gave us a shipping due date. I called on that due date and they stated that the shipping was off and they would be in tomorrow, guaranteed. Called the next day and they stated, oops it wasnt on the truck, it will now be next week. Called on the date they provided for the next week and AGAIN, oops it still wasnt on the truck. I had to raise all kinds of discontent for them to finally agree to have it direct shipped to the store. I called on the new date they provided and the floors were finally in. 3 weeks after the original date I was given, but just to make things even worse, they didnt have all the trim pieces I needed and they stated those would be direct shipped to my residence. As of the day of this review, I still havent receive those trim pieces and its two days past when they said they would arrive. Great service in the store, however dont trust them on the shipping dates!!! Very dissatisfied.

Rick DarlingRidgeville, SCThe worst experience of my life, not to mention the worst customer service.Bought flooring from Lumber Liquidators and a few short weeks after it was installed it started to buckle at the end of several planks. Contacted them and they sent someone, employed and paid by them, to examine the issue.Their person examined the installation of the floor and looked for moisture issues. Their person found no moisture through their test equipment and indicated he found nothing wrong with the installation, verbally stated by their person directly after the inspection.A few days later I received the test results which indicated that moisture was the cause of the floor buckling most likely caused by the cleaning product I utilized to clean the floor. Even though they didnt directly say it but it was certainly impling it.During their inspection I showed them the product that I intended to use to clean the floor, however, we had not used any product to clean the floor prior to their inspection. Wed only been in the residence a few weeks and vacuuming is all we had done. I guess they didnt care about what I had to say and automatically assumed I wasnt being truthful. I guess, even though I was totally truthfully about the floor not being cleaned with any product containing moisture, good customer service has no meaning with Lumber Liquidators.A few weeks later this bothered me so much since I knew I had done nothing wrong I contacted another inspector outside of Liquid Liquidators and he came out and inspected.Upon his inspection he comfirmed that moisture was in deed the cause of the floor buckling. Well this disturbed me and I immediately asked how. The inspector said that the flooring either got wet at Lumber Liquidators ware house or during it being transported. The inspector indicated that he found no source of moisture coming from the residence that would have caused this issue.He also indicated that since the effected areas werent covering all of the flooring, only in a few separated areas, he seriously doubted that any cleaning product would have caused this problem. His guess, that these areas were effected either during storage of product or during transport to their store and only one or two boxes were effected.So I wouldnt recommend Lumber Liquidators to anyone, and will say only this, since flooring is generally expensive do you want to take a high dollar risk to find that youll get no satisfaction when a problem occurs?They may have a high star rating, however, I have to ask myself this, if they were so reputable, then why wouldnt they send someone to look at my flooring who wouldnt be biased?Like I said you can use these guys but they certainly do not stand behind any morals that I can see.

Pros:sales, MILITARY discounts, great selection, friendly to those people who are not major A-Holescons:YOU NEED TO DO YOURE OWN RESEARCH. the sales people have general knowledge just like Lowes and HD, which is pretty good. Would you ask a car salesman how to change engine oil, I hope not. so dont expect them to give you the most up to date info on installing a flooring, as the industry is in constant change as we learn form our mistakes (like dont buy Chinese drywall or a completely air tight house is bad) I can not stress this enough DO RESEARCH ON EVERY MAJOR ITEM YOU BUY!
