Took my brand new engagement ring in to get it resized. When we got it back the ring was bent and all scratched up. My fiancé spent $100 at Polly’s only to have to spend another $140 elsewhere to get it fixed because I no longer had faith in Polly’s to do a quality job. The picture doesn’t really capture it all of the damage but you can kinda see the left side (with the arrow) slants down but the right side is straight. I would not recommend taking your precious jewelry here!

I arrived at this shop to have my Luminox watch repaired because it was listed as an authorized service site on the Luninox site. I arrived at the location to submit the watch for repair and 65 dollars and a week later I received my watch. The original request was to have a link repaired and the battery replaced. They replaced my battery and I will allow the picture attached to explain what they did to the link. I brought the issue up to the lady at the counter and she commented that I did not ask for Luninox part. I would not recommend you bring your Luminox watch for repair here.**update: The watch now has water vapor in it. I woke up this morning to find the glass foggy on the inside of the watch.

My fiancé went in today with an issue with an electronic device. Something about a small stuck pin that wouldn’t come out. The staff was super helpful and very knowledgeable. They were able to solve the problem quickly! He was on his way in no time. We may have gone in with an unconventional problem but we will be sure to bring all our jewelry buying needs their way! My wife bought me a 14k gold ring with a 1/4 it diamond in 1985 when I was stationed at Charleston Naval Base. I still have it and it is still a very nice looking ring. I get numerous complements about it.

My mom is on hospice and her favorite watch needed a battery change. My sister and I was unable to change it so I researched and took it to polly jewelry with a replacement battery. They fixed it and didnt charge me for it. They were also very nice. I definitely will be back and appreciate the help.

Large store with the best variety around. Although diamonds are only priced high due to the consumer demand and the extreme market and control set by the distributors. If we stopped paying so much the prices would go down astronomically. Diamonds arent that rare. I opt for precious metals.

Occurred several months ago but had not gotten around to posting this review until now: I visited Pollys Fine Jewelry to purchase my husband a surprise gift for his prestigious academic accomplishment. I interacted with a sales person (woman) who asked me several questions trying to determine how I am able to comfortably afford this very expensive purchase. My interaction with her was very uncomfortable and had the essence of prejudice and/or disbelief. She was intrusive and did not seem to believe what I was telling her during the conversation which I initially thought was two people sharing pleasantries. Of course I realized this was not the case very quickly. I initially thought it may be in my head, but no. I returned to see if the item I inquired about had transferred from another Pollys only to be met with the same treatment. I was able to get my husband this item but we will not be using any Pollys for our jewelry purchases any longer. If I had more time to search other jewelers I would not have purchased the item from Pollys. I was on a time crunch unfortunately. This is unfortunate as we have purchased several jewelry pieces from Pollys (other locations) over the years. I have not experienced this treatment at any other locations, however, this experience has effected me enough that I will commence my search for another jeweler.

I went in to Pollys yesterday as my mother had two watches she needed batteries for. I had driven by this store on multiple occasions but never thought anything of it. From the moment I walked in I could tell the owners and staff took great pride in their store. It was spotless and bright with ample room to walk around the displays. Wes helped me put together the most amazing engagement ring ever. I do not trust my jewelry to just anyone, as I am a collector of fine antique and vintage jewelry. When a repair was not done to my satisfaction, they redid it and did not charge extra or try to make it my fault. Unfortunately, some things that I have had to deal with in the past at other jewelers. Their Gemologist is GIA certified and delight to talk to. I knew I could trust them with my pieces and never worried that I would not get back what I left with them. They are honest, up front with the costs of repairs or seeking an appraisal. I unfortunately experienced the worst retail customer service possible from the manager, Brenda at the North Charleston location. The entire ordeal is quite too long to go in detail with here, but I would recommend avoiding this location at all costs. She was so pretentious and rude that another sales woman came out to my car and apologized for her behavior. I did inform the owner in detail of my experience and she responded, but unfortunately the damage was done. Side note- I will say that the staff at the Mt. Pleasant Pollys was a pleasure to deal with from the limited interactions I had with them. If you are in the market for engagement rings/wedding bands, check into other local jewelers as several were priced way better and MUCH more pleasant and professional to deal with.

My husband bought my engagement ring at Pollys. We went back to Pollys when we were looking for our wedding bands because he was happy with their consumer service. They told us that they would work with us on the prices because we were returning customers. Which they they did. :) 2 years later my diamond fell out of my engagement ring. Thank God I found it. I took it back and they fix it for FREE. Vikki informed me that I can bring it in at anytime to have it checked and cleaned. Every day if I want. I wont be doing it every day lol. But I will be taking it in periodically to have it checked and cleaned in HOPES that the diamond doesnt fall out again. I highly recommend Pollys to anyone. They have excellent customer service.

We bought my engagement ring from family in NY (you know the story 🙄) and one of the side stones has fallen out THREE times in the past 3 years. Finally sick of those guys far away, I took it to Pollys to be fixed. They were flipping amazing! Super fair price to fix my ring, rotium plate it, and theyll stand by that repair for a year. I can bring it in to be checked and cleaned whenever I want and theyll let me know if it needs any repairs.I also asked them to resize my ruby ring but because Im pregnant, they suggested waiting but put a little sling thing in to make it fit better and cleaned it for me.They were so kind and so helpful. They answered all my questions and just gave me peace of mind after all my previous turmoil. Ill post again once Ive picked up my repaired ring but so far, Im very pleased!

30 Dec 17 This is a very professional jewelry store. About a month ago I brought in my gold chain to have a link repaired. It was done earlier than they told me it would be. Today I brought in my girlfriends watch to get some links removed, anticipating a week wait. The gentleman behind the counter said he could do it right away. I literally waited 5 minutes and it was done, and he decided not to charge me anything. This is our jewelery store! Outstanding!

I have visited both the Mt. P and North Charleston Pollys locations and I can not say enough about their staff and service (and, of course, the quality). After only 2 months of getting engaged, my hand was shut into a door and my perfect ring was damaged beyond repair. I was devastated, but Richard (the owner) worked with me to recreate that ring to be almost exactly the same and I couldnt be happier.Despite the amount of calls I made to check on the status of the claim process and ring, the staff always made me feel comfortable reaching out and and as if they truly cared. I recently spoke to Pollys about purchasing an engagement ring. I was immediately talking to the owner, which is rare, and she asked all the appropriate questions. Not living in Charleston, I was not sure how long it would take to get the ring in my possession. I started speaking with her on a Monday and I had the ring in my possession on a Friday. I would have had it on Thursday, but I wasnt home. I can say enough on how pleased I am to have found Polly and her store.

My husbands grandfather left his 25 year wedding anniversary ring to him in his will. It had to be down sized almost 3 sizes. It also had 3 horizontal rows of diamonds on it, making it more difficult to size down. They ring turned out BEAUTIFUL. It wasnt warped at all.
