Cantey did an amazing job. We had standing water in our crawlspace. We had a sump pump installed and drainage tile as well as a new crawlspace door. From start to finish it was a quick process! We has someone come out to look at our situation. They gave us lots of options we could choose from which was great. They helped find the best bang for our buck. They booked the crew and helped set up the loan the day we booked. The crew of 2 came out and had the whole project done in one day. They were professional and took us step by step and gave us all the information. I highly recommend them! We will be using them to complete full encapsulation of our crawl space later on.

The gentleman who came out to my house (primarily Daniel, Stephen, and Kevin) were professional, courteous, and knew their trade. They were considerate of my time and kept me informed of their progress daily. Although my house needed considerable foundation work, their work ethnic and attention to my house and yard, assured me I had chosen the right firm to properly handle my foundation needs.

The crew that finally showed up to do my job was very professional. The people who work in the office leaves alot to be desired. My appointment was set for September 7 they changed the date 3 different times. The job got done between September 29 and 30. The worst part is that I had told someone in the office back in August that I would call them but they decided all by their little self to set a date. Then the games began.

Cantey provided great service. The inspection and quote from John were very prompt and the service was scheduled within a week. The team consisted of 3 very professional, hard working, very organized men. They cleaned out insulation and debris and put down a moisture barrier. I would definitely recommend them and would use them in the future for any projects that may arise.

The crew did a fabulous job on the decking of my in ground pool, he had sunken down on one side about 4 inches and was not safe. Cantey came in repaired and raised all the decking to level once again and filled the voids around my pool securing it . They did very clean work and was very pleased with the professionalism of Roberto who took care of the problem . Thanks to all involved in getting my pool back in great shape! Ed Vanosdol came out initially in regards to my request for the need of more piers under my house. It’s a 50 year old well built home that’s sagged in places over the years. I actually went under the house with Ed and he very thoroughly explained to me what I needed. He is a most professional and thorough sales rep and an asset to Canty Foundation. The installation team was just as professional and thorough. Zack and his team did an excellent job of the installation of the steel beams and 14 piers needed to make my home feel more solid again. In two days they did an amazing amount of work and I could not be happier with every aspect of having Canty do this work to my home. They have leveled out areas that had sagged over the decades and made the house feel wonderfully solid again. I have already recommended Canty to my neighbors and one of them has already signed on to have their home done as well! We own a 60 year old house and Cantey did a fantastic job making our home sturdy again! From piers, to drainage, a very clean “clean space” with a dehumidifier and sump pump has our house ready to go for at least another 60 years. The crews were extremely professional and courteous throughout the entire project. They called when they were on the way in the morning and called with a recap of the work that was completed that day. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to give my business to! I had a foundation issue with my home and a very narrow window to get the work repaired in time for closing on my home. Cantey made themselves available very quickly to accommodate my schedule. They were able to get the work done even earlier than expected and buttoned everything up exactly how it had been before. The only indication that they were there was the fact that I no longer had a slope in my foundation! Every single employee that I spoke with had a great attitude, walked me through every step of the process before hand and while it was being done so there were no questions left unanswered. The best part about the whole experience; they were able to beat the competitors price by nearly $10,000 (35% lower than the other estimates). I know that every situation is different with pricing and the size of a project and depth but I was blown away from how easy they were to deal with. This was by far the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and exhibited the positive attitude and attention to detail that every contractor should have. I was impressed from the initial inspection and estimate with Josh Grant to the crawlspace repairs with David and his crew and the encapsulation and dehumidifier install with Phillip and his crew. Their quality of work was great and they kept me informed of when they were going to be on the job and updated me on their progress. Cantey Foundation Specialist are definitely training their people to do quality work and how to properly treat customers. This company and all the guys that worked on my house definitely exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them to everyone. I have never written a recommendation until now but I felt compelled to let people know that this company is doing business the way it used to be and the way it should be done.

Had some sagging floors. Needed a couple beams replaced. Their guys were fabulous. Easy to dance too, explaining the details all along the way. Did great work, got the lift I needed. Cleaned up nicely. Having said that...Cantey is expensive, but far more professional than all the other contractors that bid on the work, some of whom never bothered submitting an estimate after wasting my time to look and bid.

The team was helpful and answered all my questions. Everyone was prompt in response time as well as the actual appointment. Very professional and only had positive interactions with the team. Very clean and minimal impact to our yard and landscaping.

They did it right and would use them again in a heart beat. Everyone from this team was so wonderful to work with. Our project was a bear - sealing a wet basement/ crawl space due to old sewage leak. They had to come back in between plumbing issues before the project could be finished. They were kind and understanding, adjusted the project to meet the needs of our weird basement, and they explained everything. Cantey has a great team.

My confidence in Cantey has diminished with the 2nd phase of work. After my home was encapsulated with their premier, very expensive package, I allowed time for the wood to dry out and had it re-inspected by Cantey for possible fragile compromised joist and beams that may need replacing. During that inspection it was brought to my attention that one of my peers was missing an entire top block (7 block) So the back right corner of my house had NO support! How did that go unnoticed by the previous 3 inspections by Cantey Foundation Specialist? I was given a detailed drawing of what wood was in critical need of replacement with a very hefty price tag. I agreed and when the installation team came to perform the work, I was told that the original recommendations were inaccurate and he recommended that I totally change the scope of the work to replace different sections. Why are these experts having such a difference of opinion? When the work was completed and investing close to $25k for only 900 sqft of crawl space. I still have a significant squeak in the center of the home. Would like to talk to Mr. Cantey!

We purchased a home that had significant foundation and crawl space moisture issues. After meeting with a few different foundation companies, we chose Cantey. We were so impressed with the initial consult with Ed and how thorough he was. He answered every question we had. Our foundation work was completed by Michael and Andrew who did a wonderful job! They also took the time to explain the process to us and answer any questions we had. Estevan was the lead for the installation of the drain system and sump pump. That job was also completed quickly and efficiently. The level of communication from everyone at Cantey was amazing throughout the entire process! It was absolutely refreshing to deal with a company who was prompt and professional. Their level of service raised the bar for any future contractors I work with. We will not hesitate to use them again for future work on our sidewalks and driveway that needs leveling.

Canteys crew installed 10 helical piers and secured my foundation. They were so professional and polite. Worked hard and explained all the steps they were going through.

We were buying a house that needed foundation repairs and wanted to get the company out to schedule. They would not allow me to schedule even if I could get the listing agent and the sellers to provide permission. They require the listing agent or the seller to book the appointment themselves AND be present. The sellers are in their 80s and are elderly and they wanted them present during Covid. When every other company will allow you to book an appointment and just provide permission, this company is endangering people.

I had called and asked to get an estimate for a settled foundation. Receptionist said she could not tell me whom would be out to perform the inspection and that I would not be able to speak to the evaluator until they arrived on site. Additionally, they would not provide an email address for me to submit any photos so I could communicate with evaluator before their arrival. They seemed very adamant to get someone on site. Sounds like a bad sales tactic, so declined appointment. When I asked to speak to someone, she said no one was available. Wish that someone would have had courtesy to pick up phone.

They were on time every day and only came out to go to lunch! You dont see work ethics like that anymore! Jonathan was so great at keeping us informed through the entire process. Would definitely recommend it adds so much value to your home especially if you thinking of selling!

I was very impressed with the crew that worked on my house. First they did a great job communicating with me about when they would be at my house. Right on time!!! The crew leader, David H, was a real go getter. He was extremely positive and explained the whole process to me. The crew reflected his positive attitude. I throughly enjoyed listening to them work under the house. They knocked out my problem in like two hours. After the past experiences I’ve had with other construction crews, which was horrible, these guys were awesome. I am seriously thinking about additional work with this company because of John’s and David’s attitude and professionalism. Fair price and very happy with the results.

We had a specialist come to our home, do an evaluation, and give us a free quote on the work. The man who came to our house, Ed, was extremely professional. More importantly to me, he was very patient with my children, kind to them, and made it an experience they wont forget. My oldest boy (5 years) might even want to do crawlspace work when he grows up! Ed spent 3 hours at our home, and after the inspection, went through all the results and explaining what sets Cantey apart. Cantey Fixed It! (Long review, but Ive been impressed by them from start to finish on this project.)Our floors were creaking and we thought we had some sagging floor joists. I called several places to get quotes. Cantey had a specialist here the following week. Other places I called scheduled my inspection for 4-6 weeks later.The specialist, Dave Banks, listened to my concerns as we walked through the house. He then spent an hour under our house inspecting the crawl space. The good news is that we have engineered joists and they werent sagging. The bad news is that we had very high moisture issues under the house and mold on the wood. We scheduled the crawl space encapsulation, and I went under the house later to check things out myself. The pictures he showed me were bad, but seeing it, smelling and feeling it for myself helped me quickly realize that he wasnt overselling. (Afterwards, when I told friends what we were in for, they were skeptical until I showed them pictures and went into details.)The team showed up on time as scheduled and they were very professional and friendly. The job foreman, Nick Riddick, explained all the work theyd be doing and made sure I didnt have any concerns. Honestly, this is the best contractor team weve had at our house. They were quick (finished in 2 days, on time), polite, worked hard, and put a lot of focus into cleaning their work area and my yard after each day.I wish I had a picture of the finished encapsulation. It is a beautiful space, and Im not sure how they managed to do it that perfectly so quickly. Its a 24 crawlspace, so moving and using tools is not an easy task.If we build a house, Im encapsulating from the beginning.

High pressure sales tactics are a sign of a shady business. That and a quote that was the price of a new car!!!I did research on material cost prior to Cantey coming out for the job, so I could not justify their quote they gave me.
