Last Friday (7/30/21) I was the victim of a hit and run accident, with 1-800-GOT-JUNK being the responsible party.At first, they completely denied that there was a truck on the road I was on. After I revealed to them that I have a video of the incident, they agreed that there was a truck on the road.The fact they they will not own up to their mistake and pay for the repairs that they’re responsible for poorly reflects their work ethic and ability to work with others.I DO NOT recommend 1-800-GOT-JUNK and hope that others will consider this when looking for junk removal service.

Two very courteous gentlemen helped me clear out some heavy pieces of furniture in under 30 minutes! They took every COVID-19 precaution advertised on their website, and their excellent service was affordable. Payment was easy and fast.

The guys were absolutely great. Very careful with the floor and walls and really hustled to fill an entire truck before my new stuff arrived. Was going to order a dumpster but these guys showed up within hours, did all the work and it was only a little bit more than a 20 yard dumpster.

I had an old shed full of junk to haul off, Taj and team showed up on 24 hours notice which was great. I also wanted the shed itself to be partially torn out and they were able to take care of the tear down and removal of the materials. The estimate was clear up front and the team worked hard to complete the job., I would use them again and recommend to anyone looking to point at something and have it basically disappear from your property. Great Work!

1800GJ always shows up well, on time and works quickly. I use them exclusively over other companies bc I have never had a bad experience. The men (and women I’m sure) they have on there team are professional and hard workers. Pricing is fair and there have been no surprises. Tom and Tosh were great and gave me my garage back now that it’s empty! Thank you!!

I told them I cancelled my appointment, and they LAUGHED at me. Never again going to use them. Get someone who respects your business. Awful business practices.

Chevelle and his counterpart (I forgot his name) did a great job with getting stuff cleared out for my mom today. They came in and were very courteous and professional as well as eager to get the job started and completed. We were a bit confused about the pricing and they explained how that would work as well. We want to use them and the service again.

Robert and Tyree were incredible. Courtesy call in advance gave me the exact arrival time. Upon arrival they assessed what was to be picked up and gave me an exact dollar amount based on amount of the truck filled. Whether the items were in the AC in my home, or in pine needles in the backyard, these men worked quickly and efficiently to pack it into the truck well. Never looked put out for the amount of items moved, their weight, or it being hot and humid. True professionals. Thank you for being so wonderful today!!!

What can I say about the local team - Beth, Daequan, Josiah and crew.....I hired them to come to my mom’s house, a retired teacher, who had at least 30 years’ worth of “stuff” piled up in her garage and shed.She had everything from old clothes, school books and supplies, etc. Literally you couldn’t open the door to the shed, and I’ve never seen the walls of the garage due to piled-up tubs of stuff.This crew came in and, in 5 hours, filled 3 of their trucks full of mom’s junk, and completely removed 30 years’ worth of items.I’d 100% recommend them to anyone here in town, and would hire them again in an instant!!

Super simple process to book a time and date online. I booked mine the night before we needed our junk picked up. They called before they showed up and they showed up on time!!! New management is killing it. First we were told they would take a fridge, even if it had stuff in it. The employees who came said they wouldnt, so we canceled service. Management called a few days after to let us know they were stepping in, rescheduling our service and applying a discount. I was impressed with the care and professionalism and would definitely use these guys again. We got junk, now we had junk.

Definitely not a company I recommend doing business with; the management team consists of unprofessional individuals who lie to potential customers as well potential employees. I worked one day with the company on what they called a “ride-along”; I worked this day under the pretenses that I would be completing my onboarding training to become a new hire immediately after returning back to the company site. However, after returning from completing my ride along I was paid by the hour for the time I’d worked for the day and told that my trading session would be done separate from the other new employees. I thought that to be a little strange being that the initial session only consisted of a small number of people to begin with, yet I made no contest and planned to return later that week based on the words I heard from Elizabeth, the owner of this particular franchise. I contacted Elizabeth very shortly after leaving regarding my expected return to complete my training; I didn’t get a response from her until the next day at 5:38 PM an entire 24 hours later. Her message offered a false sense of reassurance as she let me know they had not yet made a final decision on the basis of my employment, and that I would be informed on what that decision would be on the following Monday; I was extremely frustrated being that this was the complete opposite of what I was initially told. Monday came and went I once again reached out to Elizabeth via text/phone call only to not hear anything at all the entire day. At this point I was furious because not only was I being blatantly lied to as well as ignored, they also owed me a payment of $40 from tips that I had made from my ride-along day. I would’ve made sure to receive that on the same day I got paid for the first day however I was still under the impression I was going to be brought on as an employee so I assumed it would be added to my first paycheck. Finally, after taking the hint that I would not be employed by the company I reached out to Elizabeth explaining that she had an obligation not only as an employer, but as the owner of the franchise to inform me that I would not be receiving a job opportunity once again; I made sure to highlight how she was unprofessional and how she didn’t handle her due diligence as the main figure of her business entity. Lastly, I let her know I was owed money and that I needed to know how they were planning to pay me what I rightfully earned. Her response was simply, “ Understood. Please send your address and I will forward your tip.” I was thoroughly enraged at the lack of acknowledgement in her response however I just sent the necessary information to be paid. She then told me the check would be placed in the mail immediately; another one of her lies because she texted me the next day explaining how she needed more information to mail my check. Now it has been 3 days since she allegedly mailed my check and it still hasn’t made its way to me, so with that being said I wouldn’t recommend that any person conduct business with this company on any level.

Ive used this company a few times now, and quite honestly, Im not sure Id trust anyone else! Ive always been treated fairly, feel the prices were reasonable, and the guys who we dealt with were always professional and respectful. For the first time though today, I really felt the need to to write a review because the gentlemen who came out today were so respectful, considerate of my situation/mistake, honest and helpful. Truly, its not often you find that with companies these days, sadly. I had made the mistake of not realizing that the item I needed removed needed to be disconnected by an electrician, for safety reasons. They were so understanding, and quite frankly, just two real stand up gentlemen! Kudos to Will & Dave for being honest, commendable employees. As a single mother, I have felt taken advantage of by other companies, several times (in regards to pricing), because of my lack of knowledge of such things. However, this situation today restored my faith that not ALL companies and individuals are like this. Yall have a forever customer in me, from this experience alone! William and Dave did an awesome job removing a pretty substantial pile of yard debris and dirt from my yard. 1800 Got Junk was one of the few who can remove yard waste that is to heavy to bag to lay out on the street.Good job guys and thank you

David and William came out to clear all the junk from our foreclosure flip house and we couldnt be more please with their service. Some days are so lucky you should buy a lottery ticket. The day I found this company rates as one.The three person crew was fantastic in every way. They were especially impressive since it involved the removal of a baby grand piano from a raised residence. Terrible customer service.I needed to have them remove a mattress for me and so I scheduled an appointment. They showed up at the designated time and called my phone. I was unable to answer the call at that moment so they left....yup they were in my driveway...where there were lights on in the house and two cars parked out front and yet they didnt get out and ring the doorbell.My wife saw them drive off and called the 1800 number, and after being transferred around she was told they would call her back. 3 hours later and no call she called them and spent another 20 or so minutes playing phone tag with the various departments as they kept saying she needed to talk to someone else.I was told it is their policy to require a phone conversation before they do anything. Sorry I am not married to my phone. it is not by me every second of the day and I do have a life and other things to do besides wait on got junk. If you show up to someones house get your butt out of the truck and go ring the doorbell.Use another company.If for nothing else than because of this idiotic policy.
