We love Northwoods Vet! We have been going there since 2008. They were the only vet I felt comfortable taking my dog aggressive dog when we moved here. We had to put our dog down due to his health in 2015. When we got a new puppy in February 2021 we knew we were coming back to Northwoods. They are so great with our golden retriever puppy, Cash. They all love him and I know he’s well cared for and loved every time we visit. ❤️ I don’t know how prices compare to other vets, but in my opinion you can’t put a price on quality care! Northwoods Vet Clinic is the best!

I have a very spoiled Yorkie. Im very cautious who cares for him. I was looking for a new vet office in my area & decided to try Northwoods just to see how my Roscoe would react. I knew he would like the all female staff, so that was a selling point to me. He was brought out to me wiggling and with a smile on his face. I knew we had a new home for his veterinarian needs..that soothes an over protective mamas heart. It means the world to you when you have people who are going to treat your animals like you do. We are now part of the family of Northwoods Veterinary Clinic.

You know the meow a cat makes when you place him inside a pet carrier? Yeah, our cat never did that. The Vet never traumatized our cat. He was cool the entire trip there and back.

I really like this vet office. After moving to the area we began looking for a new place to take our animals to. We tried a couple other places but felt like they were more interested in money than the animals. Ive seen a few different vets at this office and they all seem great.

Had a great experience this week. My dog was showing signs of an infection and Ashley was able to squeeze us into the schedule for an appointment that same day. The infection was confirmed, and we were able to get my pup on meds right away and on the road to feeling better. Clean, quick and conveniently close to our house - it was a pleasant experience from beginning to end.

Northwoods Veterinary Clinic has provided outstanding care for our 24 cats. Dr. Jagocki is extremely knowledgeable on all cat illnesses even diagnosing a mosquito allergy (really!!) in one of our kittens. The prices are so reasonable that we are able to provide additional care that we may not have been able to.

The staff here is fantastic. They treated my Kitty like she was their own. They even have her a toy to take home after the visit. The office is very clean and doesnt smell of animal like most places do. Im so glad I found this office. I would recommend it to anyone.

Worst experience I have ever had at at a veterinary hospital. I was a long time client, and used to love the Doctors at Northwoods, times have certainally changed. My family myself and my pet were treated with cold indifference and lack of Care and compassion. Some of the Doctors seem to be skilled even if indifferent, but others not so much. If you love your pets as I do, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your pet care needs.

This is the most reliable and friendly vet clinic. I would not take my pets anywhere else. Over the past 14 years, they have always been there for my fur family. The staff has always been patient and thorough when diagnosing my pets. All of the doctors are amazing - especially Dr. Jagocki. She saved the life of one of my cats by correctly diagnosing a thyroid condition. She was AMAZING when I had to say farewell to my elderly dog. I always feel like I am surrounded by family when I am there. The staff at Northwoods Vet is the best!!!

This staff went out of their way to ensure the Heath of my dog, going as far as to personally drive him to the emergency vet since we were out of town.. We first went to them after my husbands chihuahua got mauled by a recently adopted rescue dog. (It was supposed to be good with other animals and children, but wasnt quite as advertised...)We ran him to every Vet we could locate. Several veterinarians did not think he would survive the surgery he would require. An emergency Vet suggested Northwoods.They jumped right in to get him the help he needed, never once expressing doubt towards his survival and eventual recovery. Not only that, they did it for a fraction of what others quoted.We have been loyal customers since!We have recently added two Australian Shepherd puppies to our family and they have been amazing for the care they provide for these two bundles of trouble. From stubborn worm issues, upset tummies, and more, Northwoods Veterinarians treat our four legged family members like their own!

I have taken my two golden retrievers to Northwoods Veterinary Clinic for years. One of my dogs has had some recent health issues that required surgery. Both Drs. Badger and Irwin provided excellent care for my dog. The office staff was friendly, very efficient, and called numerous times to check on my dog. These doctors are extremely knowledgeable and professional. The prices are reasonable and consistent with what other vets are charging. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services.

This place is great! Everyone has always been professional and helpful for the last 5 years. When my boxer Cooper was diagnosed with cancer and in his final days the staff went above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. It was probably the hardest thing I ever have had to do but they made me feel like we where all a big family. I have since gotten a new boxer named Burnie and we live in West Ashley now. I rescued a Mommy kitty & 2 of her babies on Thanksgiving 2003. They were all feral so I trapped them, one by one, (not easy job), & took them to these wonderful people at Northwoods to get the fixed & checked over.Theyve seen them all over the years and have given them outstanding treatment with an abundance of compassion & caring thrown in at no extra charge.Unfortunately, we lost Mommy to an eye tumor not long ago and the staff there were wonderful when we had to let her go. One of her little boys was injured some way a year ago and got out of our back yard before I could catch him & left us forever.We still have Mommys other son & whenever it becomes necessary for him to visit a veterinarian, you can bet hell only be taken to the greatest veterinary staff around, the gang at Northwoods.

I have 3 furbaby kitties that all comes here. The customer service is above expectations. The Doctors are very concerned with making sure my babies are healthy. Recently my Maggie had to visit & they found she had yellow jaundice. She is 12. We are treated her back to being well. I just appreciate all they do for my 3 babies.

Staff is nice, but prices are ridiculous. I specifically asked if I would have to pay for an exam since I already paid for it one time (for one of my kittens), and then they went ahead and charged me for an exam for TWO of my kittens ($30 each cat). Absolutely Ridiculous. I will find a more honest clinic.

Extremely friendly and animal oriented people! The front desk staff are always helpful over the phone and in person. I met both a male and female provider, and both of them were wonderful. My American Staffie absolutely loved all the attention and love she got from the staff and my small, shy, and sometimes aggressive terrier was actually very calm and pleased to be around everyone. They really take the time to know your pets, and you can tell they love your animals like they were their own. Everything is very reasonably priced, as well. They work well with surrounding shelters, and both of my rescue dogs were followed up with after their illnesses and conditions.

They really do a good job of not making you feel like a horrible person if you cant afford the most expensive option of care. Our vet let us choose Al La Carte testing for our very sick dog. The vet was honest but hopeful, Unfortuantly our baby passed away but they sent us a card after hearing and we really appreciated that. Great group of people

Dr. Caughey is the best, my favorite vet weve ever had because he is so genuinely kind and caring. They also give a military discount which is awesome.

We were referred to NWV by a friend when we moved to SC 14 years ago. They have been with us through K9-cancer,kennel cough (all 4 dogs at once),bumps, scrapes sprains,eye, ear issues etc. Never once did we leave there with any false hope or misleading information. Their prices are very reasonable for the level of care your pet will receive. This is a group of caring people that I cannot imagine navigating the world of multiple dog hood without! THANK YOU!

The staff at this clinic quite literally saved the life of our sweet little Gracie after she got very suddenly ill. My fiancé and I refuse to go anywhere else for her care. Dr. Jagocki is very caring and all of the vet techs are always very kind. This is literally the only place we have ever taken Gracie where she will not growl or bark at the people working with her.

WORST VET EVER! My dog was treated here twice and given X-rays and medicine, I was told he probably twisted something in his leg and then sent home with an anti-inflammatory. They told me to let it get better and when it did not, I got a second opinion and it turned out to be a cancerous tumor- which the 2nd vet say should have been identified immediately! Northwoods overcharged me for an X-rays, blood work and THEY GAVE THE COMPLETELY WRONG DIAGNOSIS and I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR ANIMAL ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!! My dog could have been treated sooner for his cancer had Northwoods not been so incompetent. HORRIBLE VETERINARY CLINIC!!!!!

I was recommended to come to this clinic from the Emergency Room on Montague. Dr. Jagocki was the one who I was recommended to because her favorite animals are cats and I have 5 of them. I took all of my cats in to get their physicals and shot and I just loved every minute of it.They are all very friendly and helpful and I really love Dr Jagocki. Go and check them out. I have had a great experience there and will continue to take my cats there.

Began coming here two months ago when I finally left Westbury vet clinic after 20 years. I wish I had made this change sooner. The individualized care they have shown my cats is amazing. It is obvious that Dr. Jagocki has great experience in treating cats, and her gentle touch is soothing to even the most fractious of our cats. The staff is caring and helpful and extremely accommodating to our needs. Prices are very reasonable for the services provided. So far we have brought ten of our cats and will soon be bringing the other 17. With such reasonable prices we are able to provide our cats with the updated care they deserve.

I usually had my dog go to bed and biscuit in Goose Creek (i think he believes that was more a, Get a biscuit, and i get to take a nap kinda place) when they pulled that thermometer out of the drawer boy was he in for a wake up call, anywho, my girlfriend told me over and over again i should go to Northwoods Veterinary Clinic. So what do i do? well im not an idiot, she is going to complain and whine until i do it, so i switch his vet from the one he has been going to his WHOLE LIFE, he didnt complain...i think he thought he was getting away from that thermometer. boy was he wrong again! After going there for a few visits he began to have more of a spring in his step, he suffered from allergies and ear infections alot, poor guy..err...dog..but he acts like a person so idk. Everyone there that i have met seem genuine and really upbeat. Their is a receptionist there..done forgot her name...pretty hott..with two Ts in it. yeah yeah i know i have a girlfriend but i dont think she minds Im calling this girl hot...i mean..what are the chances she reads this review about an awesome Vet Clinic that treats your animals with love and dignity? you dont get that kinda care from those vet clinics within petsmart centers, some are in it for the paycheck, some are in it because they love animals and get paid doing it, Northwoods vet is one of those. Take your animal there. look elsewhere if you have Horses or something...i mean be real about it..can he get those horse shoes attached there...actually...maybe...
