This is my fave car wash to come to on the regular! I have the membership & I can honestly say, it’s worth it. This location is so kind and prompt. Rich made me smile when he signed me up for the monthly washes. His customer service is always great when I do come. He’s such a cool dude! The new attendant, Robert, really did a great job as well. Both attendants do a great job making sure my car is prepped before entry. I always recommend this place. It’s quick and easy and FREE VACUUMS!

I came to this location to change my debit card on file because the bank updated my card. So I wanted to make sure I didn’t have a interruption of service. Got it changed thought I was good to go then the next time I came to the location to get my car washed. They told me my plan expired in which I had my plan since they first opened. They told me if I changed my debit card I would lose my grandfather plan on both of my vehicles. I told them to cancel both of my plans in which the manager was present. Come to find only one was cancelled so they charged my account for the other vehicle. So I came to the location to see why it wasn’t cancelled. Robert was the best and he saved a long time customer. He apologized for what happen and he offered me another option. He did want the manager should have did in the first place to save the customer. Thank you so much Robert!! You deserve all 5 stars for your customer service and professionalism.

Change machine took my money! Started giving me quarters then stopped like it was empty. I tried reaching out to Zips Car Wash multiple times and they told me they would have someone call me back but they never did...

Everything is always broke/ needing fixed Everytime I go. They do not put out the towels and cleaners anymore, I was told because people steal the towels. But Unfortunately Im still paying for all of these things.$40 a month isnt cheap

I have to say Im disappointed in the what this place has become. Ive paid for a membership for over 3 years (since it was Wizard Wash), and its gone down hill more and more each month. Leaving the wash now, your vehicle isnt even dry despite a few of the numerous blowers actually working. Thats no problem I guess. I will remedy that using the handheld compressed air nozzles at each detail station. Nope. They rarely work. Well, I will just wipe them down, before I get water marks, with the towels/microfibers that sit on a cart next to where to floor mat cleaning machine used to be. Nope. No cart. No hand towels. No cleaning products. Well maybe I can salvage the day by scrubbing my floor mats. Nope, thats not happening. No brush to scrub to mats, no cleaning products and no water pressure. Consistently unkempt. Numerous complaints throughout the months with countless excuses. Most of the staff are apologetic and as helpful as possible. Thats why Im not giving them 1 star. Save your money.Photos just dont do justice but I tried to show how wet the vehicle is after coming completely thru the drying station

James the new manager is awesome I remember him from fins car wash great smile came out in the pouring rain to sell me pass I finally got a membership I drive Uber it’s well worth the money he said more upgrades are coming can’t wait

Straight downhill...The owner must have taken a class on how to lose customers, and passed with an A+.They halved the power of the vacuums, turned off the air compressor so theres no more air nozzles.You dont go to a car wash for the free stuff, but thats what keeps you coming back. Looks like Im finding a new place after many years.

Great self service car wash. Its very large so theres no waiting in line for a stall or a vacuum. They also have attendants that work there in case you have any issues.

Had only large bills and couldnt get change since it was 20 minutes b4 closing.

Don’t even bother wasting your time. The parking lot is disgusting. More than half of the vacuums don’t work. Trash cans over flowing. No clean towels. And they no longer have their mat cleaning station. I drive Uber and almost purchased a membership because of how often I clean my car, so glad I didn’t.

Always clean fast and all the vacuum stuff works.

I have trouble getting the back of my car clean because it’s a turbo diesel and throws black smoke out of the back. When I pulled up I asked them what to do to fix it. They said no problem we’ll get it clean. They cleaned the back of my car ahead of me going in really well. Then when I got out of the wash Robert came and checked on me to make sure it came out clean. I really appreciated them going out of their way to make sure I was satisfied!! Great workers at this location!

I am not going to lie I have a hoopty 96 crown Vic and mr James made me feel like I had a 2021 and he can sing always takes good care of my ride I wish all of the stuff works at the wash

This is what I call a guetto car wash, no towels, no window cleaners, not good..

There is a gentleman that works there by the name of James he has the most respect and customer service that you could expect at a car wash. I got so much mud on my car and didn’t know if it would come out in the car wash. James told me to pull in the self service and he wash my car by hand and than put me threw the wash. Great customer service thank you James.

Employee was awesome and the vacuums worked good. My kids enjoyed the lights in the wash, but they also have a self wash area that my husband likes.

I got my truck washed here today. The windshield and windows are streaked and not clean. Im probably going to end going and getting a car wash somewhere else soon to get the windshield and windows clean and clear.

Took my car through the wash and got home to find I needed to wash it again .. there is some white residue all over the car and windows that will NOT come off easily and was not there before the wash. My car looks absolutely disgusting. Now, in this 30 degree weather, I have to get outside and scrub my car down to get this mess off of it. Very disappointing. Worst $10 Ive ever spent.

My card was charged $30 when I did the basic DIY wash that should only cost less than $10. No idea how or why I was charged this amount. I was never able to get it resolved either.

Extremely upset. Went to the car wash and used my debit card which should of only charged me like $4.00 they charged my card $30.00. I didnt go through the automatic wash I washed it myself and nobody would give me a refund. This is terrible customer service and I will make sure I let everyone know not to go there

I pay a monthly membership of $29, and zips is great when it’s actually open. Literally 3 out of 4 times I stop its “closed for maintenance” and you can’t even use the membership. I should get 6 months for free for how often this happens it’s ridiculous

It’s too bad they still haven’t gotten the zips Ashley phosphate location problems fixed. The same problems have existed for at least 3 months. Rocker panel brushes and dryer blowers aren’t working. It’s sad the management have let the location deteriorate. It’s time for them to fix it.

Great car wash, but i would recommend only doing the 20 spot on a mildly cool day. The vaccums were clogged as usual. The black cloths are loaded with lint fibers but free to use. Get a car wash and then there free. I would say all in all they have a great establishment considering covid-19.

I had to find a car wash when the facility at my apartments was down and did my research to find Zips which had higher reviews. I paid 20 dollars for the premium service to ensure all of the services in my car wash... only for my car to come out still dirty. Waste of money and a total dissappoinment. Now not only have I wasted 20 dollars, but I now have to go elsewhere and pay even more money to actually get the vehicle clean..unbelievable.

I have a monthly plan drafted from my account every month . But every time I go for a wash the its always out of order. Then I drives 7 more miles to the other location same thing. Out of order again. But yet you have to have a wash in order to vacuum. They need a new system. I need to stop the auto draft its a waste.

Still had dirt and bugs on truck really bad Ill never come back

I used to love this car wash but in the last 3 months it has went downhill. Card reader is continuously down, soap concentrations are never right, vacuums are frequently broken, every bay always has at least two issues. Ive been double charged a few times. I would love to see some changes made but until then this place will not have my business.

Tried to hit my card for 30 on a 4 dollar wash

This car wash has been my go to for a clean car for years. The free vacuum with car wash is nice. However, the last few times both myself and friends have used them have proved disappointing. I took my daughters car there and the timer had not cut off from the previous customer. Then, when I went on Wednesday, the timer, 2nd stall from the end didnt cut off. I didnt know until I was charged $30 for a typical $4 wash. My parents went and the wax was broken. Hopefully, Zips looks into these issues with the self wash machines

Its a good place to get your car washed! wether you plan on the automated wash or doing it your self!. vacuums work really good and you can wash your mats too!.

Was given a free wash code due to a bad experience a week or two ago. Went to use the code and it didnt work. Pressed the button for help and after 5 minutes of waiting for someone to help me, I ended up just leaving.

Those place is much needed in Columbia, SC

It’s a tad on the pricier side but it’s absolutely worth it. The one thing I would caution you about is if you have a larger truck the spinning brushes will fold your mirrors every which way.

Like at least one other reviewer, I was charged $23.92 for a 4 minute self-serve car wash. My first contact through Zips website was ignored. I just sent an email to their info account. I ABSOLUTELY would not recommend using this place.Most recent update: I got a response to this review and it said to email the local guy. I did. I then get a voicemail that I need to drive over to the car wash during business hours. I contemplated that but they should have the ability to process a partial refund via their processor (given that I can provide the last 4 numbers of the card and the transaction date). I am not going to waste my time going back, so thanks Zips, you lost ALL future visits from me and my family (and hopefully EVERYONE reading this) by not finding an easy way to refund me.1st Update: I called the 800 number and they said I have to go by the carwash to get assistance. So, whats my time worth?

Nice place, almost everything works. Straightforward and free vacuums. The water is really hard so hand drying is a must.

Great car wash. They have air compressors at the vacuums and a wall to hang rubber mats, scrub them and then power wash them. They also have a supply of rags and window cleaner spray bottles. I am going to get their monthly unlimited package that is a good deal.

Ive never had a better car wash. Tons of amenities included with your wash as well, air blower hose, vacuums, rags, glass cleaner and more! Membership is a great deal as well. Unfortunately I moved far away and had to cancel my membership, and to my surprise it was hassle free, and I even got refunded the pro rated days on my account. Robert the manager provided outstanding service!! Highly recommend this place!!

They sell discounts cards for car wash but they dont honor them!

Been coming here for months (when it was Wash Wizard previously), and have the top tier monthly wash pass. My car always comes out very clean, and has always been a good experience. The vacuums are fantastic to have, but arent always fully working. I can usually stretch the vacuum from the other side and still get the job done, so not a problem for me.My only complaint is that in the last 2 weeks or so, the back of my SUV doesnt get rinsed off with the spot free rinse, and is covered in soap when I exit the wash. Never had a problem with it before. If this gets fixed, I will increase to a 5 star rating and update accordingly.

Great safe place to wash your vehicle. I have a lifted truck that is my baby, I wouldnt take it any where else. Plus an area to vacuum, dry your car w/ provided towels. air pressure hose and mat cleaning area. I have the monthly plan where I can wash my truck as much as I want for a low cost. And they are nice enough as your entering the wash to hand out dash wipes, lollipops and dog treats.

Ive been there three times now (twice for free and once paid). Each time I have selected their top of the line wash and each time it fails to wash the back of my car. There is still dirt and debris from where they dont spray it down as you go into the wash, and the brushes dont hit it appropriately. For reference, I have a Nissan Murano. This location is really convenient for me, but for the cost and quality Im forced to drive a little further to get a better car wash unfortunately. Hopefully someone from Zips sees this and can make some corrective actions. Id love to be able to give you my business!

I enjoy this chain for car washes. This location was unique because it offered stalls to handwash cars in. The stalls didnt offer the best value because it required more money to get the result of the automatic wash. However, the staff was more than helpful and provided an automatic wash to clean the car. Most of the vacuums and air pressure cleaners were functional but a free vacuums needed servicing. Overall, I will be using this location again!

Ive been getting my car washed here a lot lately because I joined the club and this is a good quality car wash. Vacuum and clean up after you get the outside washed. Rags and class cleaner supplied.

The customer service phone number is a joke. You can not get any support. Half of the time visiting Zips one piece or another of the car wash isnt working. There monthly service is a nightmare to get canceled.

For starters the vacuums probably need to be serviced because hardly any suction at all, and I tried 4 different vacs, the mat cleaner didnt work, the air guns were broken as well. I was in a hurry and couldnt find an employee to bring this to their attention

Hats off to the management and employees of this location. Even though it was extremely hot, they were still very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Greeted customers with a smile and walked around cleaning, empting the trash and providing assistance for all of us who were cleaning our cars. I will definitely be returning....Great Job Guys!
