Took time off work for an estimate and they said 2k limit on jobs, mine would have costed around 500. Go with someone who will do the job no matter what.

I have used this company for gutters on two separate properties. First one went with out a hitch. Final product looked great. The second install was a replacement job. Remove the old and install the new. Installer was very clean about the removal and final install looks great. I did see the installer failed to caulk a few holes from the old gutter, but other than that everything is great. I give them 4.5 out of 5 stars. Great communication and professional installers.

My wife and I moved to Summerville in 2015 after buying a very ordinary house in an ordinary neighborhood. One look told us that the existing plastic gutters were really rough, and a trip onto the roof showed us that they were literally filled with leaves. After cleaning and installing screens, the gutters were functional again. We planned to replace them but there were other projects that were more urgent.2020 proved to be the year for gutters. While visiting the home show, we scheduled for three companies to give us their sales pitch and an estimate. All three could provide the hooded gutters that we wanted since leaves and pine needles are a problem here. We were expecting relatively close price estimates. As other reviewers have stated, we were subjected to an initial sticker shock estimate that quickly faded, capped off with an added day of demonstration bonus that cut the quote in half. Because we had scheduled three companies to provide us with quotes, we countered each best offer with an explanation that we were intending to compare prices before making a decision. In reality, all three prices were substantially higher than we were expecting and we were prepared to walk away if necessary. While we were evaluating the three prices, we were contacted by Ultimate Gutter Guard who wanted to send a manager out to re-evaluate our project. They did send their manager out and he substantially reduced the price to a number we were happy with. Neither of the other two companies cared to make us a counter offer.We signed a contract and made a 30% deposit, with a promise of 4-6 weeks until installation. It was actually only about 3 weeks before we got a phone call asking if they could start the next day. Being retired, that was not a problem and we gratefully accepted. The next day a large box truck showed up with two workers. They immediately set about removing the old gutters and measuring for the new ones. Our house has a hip roof which means that every foot of roof edge drains into a gutter. Instead of the typical 80 feet (plus or minus) of gutter, we have 230 feet with lots of inside and outside corners. Nevertheless, the two workers worked steadily with no smoke breaks, no phone breaks, no trips to the lumber yard, no calling the office, etc. Six hard-working hours later we had brand new gutters and downspouts that looked great. That evening we had a heavy rain storm and the gutters worked perfectly. It was interesting to actually watch the water run over the lip of the covers and drop into the trough. Those gutters are going to save me innumerable trips onto the roof to sweep junk off of the screens.We could not be happier with Ultimate Gutter Guard; great work at a fair price.

After having the gutters installed the first time it rains water was pouring into our porch. After contacting them multiple times I got the same thing. We have submitted a request for you to have them repaired. Someone will contact you to get this done. That was 6 months ago and I still get the same result every time I call.

I called Gutter Guard because my neighbor who has the same style home as I do had them on their home. They looked wonderful and I had always wanted to get them, climbing ladders 2 stories high at my age is not a smart thing to do. They came to measure 1 day and the gutters were made on site the next week. It only took them 2 1/2 hours for the old to go and the new to be put in. There will be no more trees growing in my gutters or pine needles building up in them.

I got a full set of gutters from them a few months ago and have been very happy with the speed of installation as well as the whole process of them working with me. The system is more expensive than some of their competitors but i feel like that cost is justified for what they offer. I will say that in the process of negotiating the price i was asked if i could provide an honest review. And i will state that everything in this review is fully true.During the installation the companys truck accidentally hit my neighbors basketball hoop that was at the street. They worked with my neighbor to fix their hoop, and right after my neighbor calling about their problem Ultimate Gutter Guard called me to make sure everything was OK with the rest of the installation. And after a few weeks while they waited for parts to be shipped everything was made right. Quality customer services.

We had an excellent experience with Ultimate Gutter Guard. We needed to delay the work for several months after our initial down payment. Bailey Wilson contacted us periodically to see if we were ready to have the gutters installed. He was nice about it, not too pushy. When we were ready the workers came on time and efficiently completed the job within a few hours on the back part of our house. We are very happy with the installed system. We will definitely have this good company back when we are ready to add gutters to the front of the house.

My Gutter Guard experience was very satisfying. They cleaned up after the work was done....the workmen were very polite and courteous....they worked in a timely manner and asked specific questions that may have come up in the process. I called “Charleston” Ultimate gutterguard” because I wanted to use local contractors. A person called me back from Augusta, and sent a salesman from Bluffton .. He showed up and went into his high pressure canned sales speech and refused to even listen to me !! It was like inviting a “carnival barker” into your house .. after a while I had to almost throw him out 🙄

Updates review 2021 this company has drastically changed. We asked them to install fascia, soffit, and door caps. The contract stated all rotten wood would be replaced of which I personally knew of 1 spot that was pointed out to the company. After they had “finished the job” and left a pile of trash 10ft x 10ft in my front yard and screws everywhere, I checked behind them on the 1 spot and would ya know it- it did not get replaced. Most everything went without a hitch. The salesman was professional and knowledgeable and the installer was very proficient. The ladder hit the roof at 7:28AM EST and they worked nonstop. By 6:30PM EST, my roof was done.In less than 12 hours, they had scraped off the old shingles, replaced a few spots of flooring, added the Atlas Ice & Water underlayment across the entire roof, placed the water resistant/UV protection 2nd underlayment, then the Starter and later the Pristine Shingles, and topped it off with the Hip and Ridge Shingles. Had awesome service with Joe Huppe. He came by explained their Gutters to me and my wife, and we set up the deal then and there. The team that came out set up everything in the front and back yard and built my gutter system in one day. Even cleaned up after themselves when they left. Great experience! To top it all off it rained for like 4 days straight after the install and them things did the job perfectly! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. And if you use this review I suggest going with Joe Huppe cause he is highly professional!

Worst Experience in my Life! If I could give no stars I would. I just got off the phone with them again. We made an appointment and they never showed up, and never got a call. I called them and found out that their sales guy was in a car accident, which I understood and just rescheduled. I never got a confirmation call the day before so I called the morning of my appointment and was told that I didnt have an appointment and then the girl hung up on me. I will never do business with this company and I suggest no one else does. Worst customer service, and I doubt someone will ever show up.Updated: We gave them another chance, they did a good job of explaining things and we had them install our gutters. They are pricey, like at least double other bids we got, but the life-time guarantee was good. Installers were nice, they messed up which way we wanted one to flow out on the side of the house, which they came out the next day and corrected.

Expensive gutters installed in April 19. Leaking behind the gutters and have waterfalls around the valley areas. Have called repeatedly to have corrected and continue to get run around. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!. Should have just used regular gutters. They dont hold up under heavy rains. Very disappointing.

Had an appointment scheduled and had the call the day before to confirm. Asked if both me and my husband would be home. Advised just me. Sales rep said see you tomorrow. Appointment at 11:00. No show so called at Noon. Advised the appointment was canceled because my husband wasnt going to be there! Seriously! I still find it ridiculous but at least tell me you are canceling and not have me waste 60 minutes of my time!

The customer service was top notch. He walked us through every step and every option. The installment was fast and they cleaned up everything like they were never even there! The opening service and planning portion with the company was great, when it came to the execution of installation I felt like the company fell a little short with accomplishing the end result of how we wanted our gutters laid out. We talked to the company and they said they would fix all the issues no problem, they only fixed one of the problems so we let it go and have since corrected our issue ourselves. The company is pretty easy to talk to and friendly. The quality of the work that was accomplished was great. The overall price for the work was excessive.

Purchased new windows that were installed in July. One broke upon installation. One other custom window’s outer molding was ordered at that time as well. It is mid October and we still do not have these windows. After multiple calls not being returned, and an appointment no show that was scheduled to install the new windows- we are extremely dissatisfied. The wrong windows were also ordered due to several people’s miscommunication. Decent product so far but terrible customer service. One piece of advice (should have known...) do NOT pay until everything is done and to your standards.

I am very happy that I decide to have my Ultimate Gutter Guards installed on my home. Before the gutters were installed, the water from the rain would just pour down over my front porch. You would get drenched if you attempted to enter or exit my home. Now, no more worries. I own 50+ Homes In Charleston and am looking to get some of them RE guttered. This company agreed to meet and then refused to meet with me until I would bring my spouse along, even though she doesn’t Own the home. Will take the gutter jobs somewhere else or I would like to talk to the owner.

Installation was quick, easy and timely. I asked the installer about adding diverters where 2 roof sections come together and they were added with no problem. These gutters are more expensive than regular gutters but if you have several trees around your house they are great for not getting clogged with leaves.

The wife and I have made some good decision, but this one was the best one. The Gutters works great and I love the way its Designed . One of the best thing is that I dont have to clean out the gutter. Less work i have to do around the house LOL. Called this company for a quote, the lady on the phone was okay until we tried to set appointment for quote.She asked who would be present and I said my wife would be there. She said that both of us had to be there, I stated as both my wife and myself had built and bought several homes in Europe and own a number of homes in Charleston I was confident my wife would be able to ask any questions that needed to be asked. At this the lady who answered the phone laughed and said she would not do anything without her husband there. She said they wanted to get all the questions answered at the one time, I again tried to set up an appointment to have gutters installed and she stated she could not give us an appointment without both owners or both husband and wife being present. Had Gutter Guard come out for an estimate for attic insulation and thought it was strange on the phone when the scheduler asked me if there was a Mr. Edwards, but I didnt think too much about it. When the service rep was at my house, I mentioned that my gentleman friend would help me remove things from the attic before they installed and he stopped his quote process to insist that my boyfriend be present to receive the quote. After a Julia Sugarbaker-esk explanation of how I am perfectly capable of making financial decisions on my own (turns out single women can in fact own their own homes and control their own bank accounts ;) he finally proceeded with the quote process... but not after trying to mansplain to me that it was just business to ask my boyfriend to be present. Well as a business VP myself, I know better and wont be using this company for my insulation install. If youre looking for any service Gutter Guard offers, I highly recommend you work with another company who offers better treatment to women.

I had scheduled an appointment the day before for an estimate the following evening for a gutter installation estimate. Well I just received a call to tell me that my appointment was cancelled because I did not confirm my appointment when the “manager” called. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and since the manager never called me I asked for an explanation as to why my appointment was cancelled. None was given so I will be moving on with my business and future referrals. Do not waste your time scheduling an appointment with these people because they will just cancel on you with no explanation.

Absolutely terrible! I left work early to meet a salesman at my home to discuss gutter options. The salesperson proceeds to tell me that he will not be able to give me a proposal because my wife is not here to listen to his pitch also. He tells me that they often hear husbands say that he will need to discuss the matter later with his wife. Therefore they feel that it costs them more time and effort if they have to make a second trip to make a second pitch for wives. This policy is ridiculous enough....except they didnt even tell me this when I set up the appointment!!!!!!!Now I am home early with no gutter quote. I think they would have had a higher percentage of closing a deal had they just gone ahead and made the pitch. Now they have wasted an appointment, got a negative review, and there is absolutely 0% chance that I will be calling them back.

I took time off to be available and meet with him . He took a look at the shower and then asked to sit and talked about options . His initial statement was I need both you and your wife to discuss it, adding that he wouldnt do or discuss anything unless my wife is present . I informed him that I can make my own decision for my own home and that I am going to be paying for it . He still ignored me and stated that he has to follow the order of the one who signed his check . What the heck ? They never let me upfront about their narrow minded policy . I am not pulling the life support plug of someone . I am just replacing my bathroom tub . I dont recommend this company to anyone because they are really shady !
