We had looked into other companies, but they were a lot more expensive and couldn’t help us for 2 months out. Handyman had someone out right away to evaluate and give us an estimate. We had someone out to our house the next week.James did an amazing job repairing the trim board under our front window and over our garage. He made sure to let us know what was happening every step.Handyman had great customer service. Everyone on the phone was so nice and helpful. James was very respectful of our house and made sure there was no mess behind.Would absolutely do business with this company again and recommend to anyone looking for a handyman.

I appreciated the referral for an electrician when it was noted that there was no licensed electrician available through Handyman at the time of my call. I did contact Blue Water Electric and they sent Scott. He was able to do the job and even advised me that I should get a plumber to check something (not knowing that I was already planning to do that). I called back to Handyman for a plumber and Bernard Cipriano came to finish off the plumbing work. Both men were professional, courteous, and even wore masks due to Covid. I had a deck replaced and it was a good experience. The office manager? Pamela was helpful and friendly. The crew was on time and efficient. After the job was finished, the office manager called to make sure I was happy with the work. That definitely made my experience pleasant from start to finish.As far as costs go, if you want to maybe pay less money by using other contractors, I’d say go with the handyman Connection. Frank of Handyman Connection did some work on our front porch to correct a original build mistake. He made it look like it should have looked when the house was originally built. It was definitely work for a skilled craftsmen and Frank did a great job.He also moved and replaced a security light at the rear of my house that was no longer functioning and was out of range of the motion sensor. I now have a security light that works perfectly and lights up my patio.Ill definitely use them again!

I own a small delivery company. There are times when we run into damages. I found Handyman Connection of Charleston. They were able to repair damages, on a small scale as well as large. They are professional, precise, courteous, and very reasonably priced. .Pamela Anderson is the point of contact that I dealt with, and she is amazing!! I gave her the customer’s name and number and she took control of the matter from start to finish. They did an absolutely great job on several projects that I needed assistance with. I personally think they are the best in Charleston, and would go nowhere else .

When we had a job that they didnt have the right (roofing) equipment for, they gave us referrals for another business that could do the work rather than doing a poor job themselves. I had recently purchased a new home in the Charleston area and needed someone to hold my hand during the builder/final walk through inspection. That is where Handyman Connection came in. My walk through with the builder was at 3pm. Handyman Connection was there on time and ready to go. What impressed me most was the experience and knowledge they had in order to effectively work with the builder; they knew just about everything about the installed products on my home (siding, heating/cooling, etc), their full understanding of the local code and the relationship between both. Given my inexperience with purchasing and buying homes, Handyman Connection provided the eagle that I needed; pointing out issues and identifying things I would never have found. More importantly, items that city inspectors missed, were identified and addressed. Outstanding organization and people. The project started as a master closet install, which seemed simple, but had many moving parts. Manning did a terrific job sorting thru everything and even came back for a follow-up adjustment. Then when the installer of our new appliances had trouble scheduling time., Handyman took care of that for us on very short notice. I left a voicemail regarding repairs needing to be done. I missed the call and called back within 45 mins. The young lady claimed to have not called me, nor the other person in the office, even after telling her I had left a voicemail. She claims no voicemail was left and didnt even bother to ask how she could help me. Lost my business .

Had appointment at 12:00 pm. No one showed up. Called 2 times to see when to expect the repair man. No response yet (3:15 pm) this company does not have its act together.

How this company want to charge me $85 to come to my house to give me a quote for installing a new door and if I hire them they will drop the charge!!! This is not professional way handle customers.

Having had a good experience with this company in the past, I contacted them to repair a control pad on a recliner sofa that we had just purchased. Lets just say months later, the project is not completed. I will summarize the entire ordeal by saying that communication was extremely poor. I had to follow up with them on multiple occasions after they failed to contact me as promised. The problem was compounded by employees who were working on my case leaving the company. There seemed to be no mechanism in place for continuity of service. Overall, they managed to reprimand me for their failed communication during several of our phone calls and emails. I will be finding another company for my future household projects.
