This gym has everything BUT a working sauna. One of my favorites for recovery. The sauna has been down for months and even the workers have no idea of when it’s going to be fixed.

I called to cancel my membership over 6 months ago and was told it was cancelled. Come to find out I was continuously charged my membership fee for the past 6 months. I am a veteran and heard that this gym was reputable but after they have taken over 300$ for a gym membership I didn’t even use due to the pandemic. I will not be returning. I tried calling again today and was told that I now have to be in person to cancel this membership. I am beyond fed up with this process, be wary of getting a membership to this establishment. I am out of state and will be driving to Ohio tomorrow to cancel my membership. Two thumbs down.

This gym rules. I was in town for just a few days and got a day pass. The gym is huge, has tons of machines, every barbell I saw was from Rogue, and kept clean. Im very jealous of people who get to train here regularly.

Daum the worker there in the evenings was beyond helpful,polite and knowledgeable and very friendly others good luck trying to get anything but a attitude

Staff is so friendly and the owner is very nice and professional. He has rules about inappropriate talk and Ive seen him ask men to leave for making inappropriate comments to women. I feel very safe and enjoy working out there.

Very nice spot. Even have a smoothie bar for after the workouts. Surprisingly they even offer scoops of pre-workout for about 3$ a scoop.

The facility is well kept. There is enough equipment for full body workouts. The staff is friendly. Membership fees are reasonably priced. It is the best gym in Stark County.

Been in this gym for a good 2.5 years and not once during that time could they fix the showers. 5 showers in the mens locker room and only 1 barely works. Sad to see it takes a 30 days notice to cancel, maybe they can use that much needed money to fix the showers? Doubt it.

Owner definitely invests and cares. The daycare is great: extremely affordable, they do special activities and parties for most holidays, and the staff is great with kids of all ages. The gym itself is taken care of and has just about everything you need with the exception of some specialty powerlifting type bars which would be nice eventually. Staff is friendly and helpful. Best overall gym in Canton area.

I really enjoy this gym. Ive had free week memberships to 3 gyms prior and really liked one piece of equipment from each, that didnt seem to move on to the next place. Imagine my surprise, touring powerhouse and seeing all my favorites plus more that Id not seen, but have enjoyed starting to use. If you can swing it, pay it up front, its your best cost option. The parking lot is generally pretty full, but its never been to the point of not being able to park.

Great gym with all the equipment one needs to get a good workout. The only minor con is when there are classes in session the back weight room gets crowded when trying to do ab work. But even then its still pretty good.

Really nice gym. The only real issue is it gets way to busy at times. Unless your on 2000mg of test weekly, dont expect there to be any equipment open. Other than that, a great place and atmosphere to push yourself.

Good gym, a lot of equipment and classes. Trends to attract a certain kind of crowd thats for focused on muscle tees and gains. But overall, very clean. Has a yoga studio attached as well that teaches unique styles of yoga, including heated classes.

The gym equipment is top notch. With the exception of a few beat up dumbbells here and there. Overall, management does a good job of bringing in new equipment. The staff is very helpful. However, the atmosphere is what keeps me going. People come here to get results and work hard!

Stop by three weeks ago filled out form to have a personal trainer contact me no one has. I also stopped by two ago to let them know no one had contacted me. They said that someone would contact me soon. Three days went by no contact. I then went online and filled out a contact form. Still no response. I was going to join for 6 months to get ready for a 9 month sailing trip around the world. Good luck.Your milage may very. James

Ive been a member of Powerhouse since it was opened over 2 years ago and have been very pleased with the variety of equipment and cardio machines provided. Being a former member of the North Canton Y, I can say that the clientele that Powerhouse has is very different. What I mean is that the members of Powerhouse are there to work and get the job done. The Y is a social club and not conducive at all to getting a good workout in. Powerhouses members and staff are always nice and will give you a spot or let you work in with them. Powerhouse has been a great place to train and get in shape. They have everything one would need to meet any fitness goal.

Best gym in Canton. Affordable, tons of new equipment, classes, child care, nevermind crowded when I go, its the best.

This is a REAL gym the dumbell weights are up to 160 lbs with a sizeable cardio room, the people that frequent here are generally very nice creating a comfortable atmosphere, they sell gear and supplements and they make their own protein shakes, the cable machines only go up to 150 but they work. The locker rooms have saunas and they hold their own fitness classes on different days of the week, but for people serious about lifting this is the place for you.
