Friendly staff. I participated in a class, good instructor who was welcoming and upbeat. Clean facility. Ive used the equipment and have had good experience with cleainess, and good equipment.

Still the nicest, cleanest YMCA around.

We love this place. Though their prices seem a bit high, if you take advantage of the rewards program you will save enough to make it worth it. Stop in the coffee shop too or stop in just for coffee, you wont be disappointed.

Ive been working out and enjoying the sense of camaraderie and community since 1985 while sharing lots of memories with friends and acquaintances.

Some ridiculous rule at the pool and only apply for some special people. Very annoying, a swimming instructor lady who seems manage the pool and makes lot of hassles.

Its a great place to be❤ The staff here are exceptional and the morning crew, well, they are the best group of gym partners you could ever ask for.

Was great to workout finally! Ymca staff were nice and helpful! MY ONLY COMPLAINT is that even during the situation we are in, there are still y members who wont properly wipe down the machine after use. Those people are nasty, especially since there is no hand towels at this time. Since I witnessed that, I wipe my machine down before and after use. The staff is awesome but sadly a few dirty people means the rest of us have to be even more proactive about sanitation so we can enjoy getting out of our homes after the last 3 months in stay at home.

This is one of my favorite YMCAs in the area. It is full of amazing amenities such as a large pool, hot tub, steam rooms, sauna, small walking track, and a huge fitness center. The variety and number of equipment almost always ensures that youll be able to get on the machine of your choice. The locker rooms are modern, with a Mens/Womens, seperate Girls and Boys for the kids, and a few family units as well. The Mens/Womens have (not during COVID) socializing areas, coffee, and useful amenities at the sinks (Such as deodorant, lotion, etc.) Theyre incredibly good at cleaning (especially during COVID) and I feel secure knowing they take the sanitation of the building so seriously. My ONLY reservation is that the cost can be quite high for a single membership. I personally find it worth it, but it may be hard for some to swallow. Youre definitely getting your moneys worth here though. Another thing worth noting, dont go in the late morning/mid-afternoon to avoid larger crowds.

Super clean! A much needed comfort after our power was out and I needed to get ready for work!

I love this place they have the most classes and friendly staff. They have all of the amenities. The downfall is they’re super busy and they need better spin class instructors. They don’t let you know who the teacher is before spin class so I usually end up getting a guy who plays soft rock and quite frankly it’s just not that motivating to me.

This is a truly phenomenal place. Great people, great staff. Once you’ve been here long enough you truly feel like part of a family here at the Y. Would definitely recommend to residents of North Canton.

First time back since COVID shut down. Very clean and organized and spaced out.

Great place with what seems like a nice variety of equipment. Only real complaint I have is theres no changing room, so I have to go home to get changed rather than just stopping on my way home from work. Theres a locker room, but not everyone is comfortable just undressing in front of other people and I do wish that would get acknowledged.Beyond that, the staff is friendly, theres always some open cardio equipment, and the place is kept very clean and organized.

There is a variety of equipment but not all the people wipe down the equipment when they are done. Very few people wear masks.

I drive out of my way to go here over the Jackson YMCA. The child watch staff here is excellent. They are always super friendly and remember me and my kids names. Ive been very impressed with them. My kids love playing here and going to the block room after I pick them up from child watch. The parking does get frustrating at times -mainly Monday mornings, so I allow extra time to drive around the parking lot a couple times to get a space. They also have great Power Yoga and pilates classes with good teachers. Marti is hands down my favorite!! Everyone I have met here, including the front desk ladies, are always nice. I would highly recommend this location.

Nice place! Their gym isnt too bad and lots of equipment. Seem to always have pretty short waits and usually not overwhelmingly crowded.

I recently used other fitness centers and Y while on vacation. The NC YMCA rocks!!! It far outshines any other facility with friendly, knowledgeable staff as well as state of the art equipment, nice variety of classes and more!

Nice facility. We like it for the raquetball court. Would love it if the open swim hours were more frequent and didnt shut down at the slightest chance of rain, but all in all our favorite facility.

Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff, excellent facilities that are consistently upgraded, full range of family programs. Weve been members for 20 years. Weve also had memberships in some other facilities periodically as well. But, weve found the the North Canton YMCA is by far the best bargain in the area.

Sassy front desk, horrible gym(too small making it feel always packed, not enough weightlifting equipment, but there are too many cardio machines) parking is a disaster. I have seen much, much better YMCA’s

If I could rate lower than a 1 I would. The girl at the front desk (her name is Gina) is always rude and never friendly. I would suggest replacing this employee with someone who actually wants to work there. Nothing at this YMCA is simple, its always a hassle and she does not make it any easier. I would suggest going to a different YMCA if you have a choice.

I recently moved out of town and miss this Y so much. The childwatch in particular. I have never had a negative experience with ANY of the staff. Front desk, childwatch, in the cardio area/weight room, lifeguards; everyone has been friendly and helpful, even when I’ve called with questions. No matter how many children are in childwatch there is always someone to attentively sign in every child, they all gret parent and child and say hi, and have helped my almost 2 year old with separation anxiety. They have cultivated a genuinely welcoming, family atmosphere at this location and I wish all Y’s could model themselves after North Canton. I can’t say enough good things.

This place is racist and the front desk people are very rude especially this older lady. She had a very ugly attitude and acted as if we didnt belong there even though we are long time members. She needs to be fired.
