Conlon’s is a quality repair-shop with many years of experience. I have been coming here for 21 years. The job is always done right and the savings over a dealer’s service department are significant.

I dropped my car off for replacement of a CV Joint/Axel and oil/air filter change/replacement. The CV Joint/Axel replacement seems to have gone well. However, after driving my car ~10 miles I noticed a massive amount of oil on my driveway. They had not secured the oil filter and from the looks of the oil they never changed the oil! As a result of their careless mistake I had oil all over my engine compartment! Furthermore, if I had not caught this issue they could have destroyed my engine! I expect that when a mechanic commits to a service they deliver that service. When bringing this to their attention they were apologetic and cleaned the engine but offered no refund nor compensation. I will never return and would not recommend this mechanic to anyone. Be wary if you consider them as they are not thorough and do not have attention to detail. Furthermore, the way they handled this situation left a lot to be desired from a customer service perspective. I was INCREDIBLY disappointed.

I needed to have some scheduled maintenance done on my Subaru Forester and I spent quite a bit of time searching for an honest mechanic with reasonable rates. Conlons quoted a price on my spark plug replacement that was less than half of what the dealership quoted, while some other shops in the area were quoting 30% more than the dealership (?). Im very happy with the quality of service I got. They spotted that I needed new belts (existing ones were almost 10 years old) and replaced those at a fair price too.Ive had some bad experiences with mechanics in this area, despite only visiting ones with very high online reviews. One of them tried to push me to replace my timing belt at 60k miles (100k miles is typical) and another was charging a 300% markup on all their parts ($28 for a radiator cap!?!). Its such a relief to finally find a mechanic I can trust.

People who work here are very rude and unprofessional. They also are racist and wont treat you like a human unless you are white. Highly recommend you take your car ANYWHERE else.

Great place. They are very honest. I always bring my car here. A good example of their honesty is that I inquired about my break pads needing to be replaced because of noises I heard. They showed me the pads and said that they appeared to have another 20k miles or so left on them. Other places would have just replaced them with a big smile on their faces. Go here if you want good mechanics you can trust.

Joe has been keeping my cars running well for 25 years. I trust him completely and have never felt that he didnt do a great job or that he did something that didnt need doing. He was found fixes for things that a dealer would have charged me an arm and a leg for.
