Exceptional repair work and nothing but transparency from J.R. himself. My vehicle suffered a large amount of damage to both the body and suspension in an accident. Not only did the body work and paint mixing look as good as new, but J.R. took it upon himself to correct poor work from prior repairs. He also fought with my insurance company to make sure that they paid for better and safer parts than they originally wanted. He was even went out of his way to help me out with he price to fix a part that insurance wouldnt cover.The one on one communication with J.R. made me feel very comfortable that my car was being taken care of the right way, and sure enough, the end result speaks volumes. I highly recommend J.R.s, and Ill certainly be returning for any body work or paint jobs in the future!

After an unfortunate accident, I was helped by the owner and his wife to get my Jeep completely repaired. The insurance company was relentless and obtuse with me but JR and his wife took all of the aggravation off of my hands and dealt with the insurance company on my behalf. They went above and beyond in getting my repairs assessed through the insurance company and assisting with a rental car. If I ever had any questions or concerns, they addressed them promptly and were able to alleviate any anxiety during the three week process.Hats off to all of the team at JR’s.

The headlamp assembly for my BMW 535i had moisture buildup and needed to be replaced. After checking around I discovered that JR was the only one willing to discuss options vs giving he a high quote.He was transparent about the process, sourcing, time and cost. His initial estimate was lower than the price I was quoted by others (significantly lower than the dealership), and in the end he landed up refunding me money from my deposit because he was able to find me additional savings in the part.He is highly responsive, transparent and honest. My insurance at the time was pushing to get my car fixed with used auto parts when it should have been declared TOTALED. JR did not make a penny out of me or my insurance company because he is a GOOD mechanic and a GOOD person. This is an update from my review in 2017. I still go to JR and receive the best service. If you need help finding the place see the photos, turn by the storage off of Parklawn Drive and drive to the top of the hill.I appreciate the easy communication; we text back and forth about what needs to be done and he sends me photos of the parts. He is always helping me save on parts and provide the best recommendations for what needs to be done and what can wait. I just had headlights (including the plastic cover) replaced, new tires, new break pads, rear shoes cleaned, AC condenser replaced and lower control arms replaced. I went for an oil change but knew things were quite right. Im planning on driving 1,000 miles before end of year and want to feel secure in my vehicle. JR makes all that happen.________________________Ive been going to Jr for 4 years. I flipped back and forth using a different shop closer to my office on West Montgomery Ave but when my car was on its last legs I felt more comfortable going to Jr. I was feeling desperate but Jr gave me his honest opinion and said I had wasted money trying to fix my radiator that wasnt fixable. I most recently had a smashed side mirror and Jr got me the best deal to get it replaced and fixed. I feel comfortable going to Jr because of his quality and dedication to me as a customer. Hes always willing to send his team to pick me up and drop me off at the White Flint metro.

I went back to JR’s today when I needed body work done and fast because I have gone to him in the past and am always blown away by his customer service (which is truly second to none), extremely reasonable prices, and quick (same day) turnover. I’ve gone to JR twice now for body/trim repairs, and, both times, my car has been fixed ON THE SPOT and at a nominal cost. He actually wasn’t even going to charge me today for fixing my body work. If I had gone anywhere else this would’ve cost at least a couple hundred dollars. JR and his wife are wonderful people - they will offer you a beverage while you wait. If you need anything auto related, do yourself a favor and check out JR’s shop. You won’t be disappointed. I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else. Thank you JR!!

Great work from a certified shop that doesnt cut corners on quality.Before the repairs this car had extensive damage to the front and side of the car. JR exposed and showed me underlying damages that I couldnt see that Im sure wouldve been covered up by other body shops.. and sadly 2 other shops did in the past.I went to JR because I liked the reviews and I was disappointed with the insurance affiliated body shops I was sent to in the past. not only did the insurance recommended shops do a lousy job but one of the times they ended up damaging things on the car that never even needing repair like.. my leather seats, front rim, and my windshield railing for example. I l was review scrolling and I wasnt sure if the reviews were loaded, but the car was a disaster and the so called 5 star body shops where the insurance had on site adjusters were pathetic so I didnt have anything to loose. I learned quickly that sometimes a one stop shop isnt always the best alternative. You can go to who the insurance sends you too but obviou$$$ly they are sending you there for a reason.?You can choose who you want to do your repairs. I choose JR and yes I would Even for that used GTR I plan to get in the future. Rather somebody hits it. or i want a body kit put on it. I know they can get the job done right not just for my Camry but any class of car I decide to get in the future.JRs Auto body was professional. None of his staff was rude. I didnt feel like I was just another person they could make money off of. They took the time to explain things I didnt understand (even though I didnt ask a lot of questions.)The communication was excellent. calls, emails, updates. Never had to chase anyone down and when I got the car I hardly recognized it. The work they did was great. When I got it back I noticed they even fixed a scratch I caused to my door from a Costco shopping cart.., it wasnt related to the claim or anywhere near the mentioned damages on the claim and they didnt ask me for anything! All businesses are in business to make money but these guys care and are honest and hard working. Another thing I decided to take the car for re-inspection early following the repairs (sorry Im a skeptic) and the headlights didnt even have to be refocused to specification! everything was mathematically perfect!

Jr. fixed both my front and rear bumpers in the least costly way without sacrificing any of the quality. He is a genuinely good mechanic, and more than this, he is a genuinely good person. He knows how important money/cars can be, and he is nothing like the big auto companies who only care about your wallet and not you as a person. I highly recommend him, and I guarantee you will not be going back to another mechanic once you go to him.

JR was SUPER helpful to us throughout the process of assessing the damage to our car, even after it was deemed a total loss and hence he didn’t get any paid work.Originally our insurance thought the car could be repaired, and based on online reviews we decided to send it to JR. It was absolutely the right decision. He helped us navigate an odd situation where the tow yard was holding our car and not delivering it to the county lot, even when our insurance company was less than helpful over the Thanksgiving weekend. Once we finally located the car and got it to his shop, he and his team did a thorough job to assess the damage and write up a full estimate.Because of his detailed work it ended up pushing the cost of repair over the amount that would incur a total loss. JR didn’t try and “massage” the estimate to get 12k of work, but instead did what was right to ensure we were taken care of, even though it meant his shop didn’t get the work. Once the car was deemed a total loss, he was still super nice and allowed my wife and son to say goodbye to the car, and ensured we got the plates and all other items (weather mats, wheel locks, etc.) to make sure we could resell as much as possible and get a refund on our registration.Overall, JR is a great guy who wants to do right by his customers. JR is the greatest! I have a very old family car running well thanks to JR. Its an original 1991 Cadillac Brougham with less than 100,000 miles. I had an engine problem with the car several years ago because of not driving the car enough. I took it to doctor JR for help and did not give him a time limit. He basically rebuilt the engine for me and the car is running well to this day! JR has a good company with great customer service. I highly recommend JRs Auto Body to everyone!

I had a hard time getting the Insurance company to take responsibility to repair my car. I drove into JRs Auto Body and the people there were great. JR called the Insurance company for me and within 2 days JR called me and told me when I wanted to set up the appointment. It was unbelievable. I had been waiting weeks and JR stepped up for me and I could not believe it. I had bought this car from a used car dealer and I found out that it had been in a bad accident before. JRs advised me on it and repaired the items for me. My trunk had always leaked and JR showed me why. He took care of it. I can not believe the service he does. This is the place to go! Jr went the extra mile to make sure the insurance of the person who rear ended us paid for the PROPER repair necessary and not a short changed job that GEICO suggested. Courteous and thorough, they found more damage than the GEICO agent reported that could have resulted in serious damage or injury if not repaired correctly in a future collision. I got a series of small dents along the front bumper of my 2007 Honda Civic LX that I needed to get fixed. I got a recommendation to use JRs, and they were very quick with the repairs. My car looks just as good as when I first bought it. Definitely recommend them.

JRs Auto Body repaired my car after I was hit from the rear. A lot of damage was done and I was concerned that my car would not be restored to like new condition. I was hesitant to do business with some company that I was not familiar with but I am glad that I did. This place is amazing! JR (and his wife) are wonderful people. I came in with my friends car that I messed up - I was worried sick about getting it repaired quickly. Not only was everyone at JRs exceedingly nice and helpful, they got the job done, and in only an hour, while I waited, for a ridiculously good price. I had sideswiped the door coming out of a garage - messed up the paint, dents, and through alignment off in the door. I called around lots of other places before finding JRs and was told that at the very least it would take 4-5 days and need to go through insurance and be upward of $300. Like I said, JRs fixed all of this and restored the car to its original condition in less than an hour for a small fraction of what I was quoted other places. I actually cried I was so overwhelmed at what a godsend these people were to help me as they did and for such a reasonable price. If you need ANYTHING, go to JRs. You will not find this kind of service and reasonable pricing anywhere else. Ill be going back to JRs with all automotive needs in the future. Recently, my car’s front end was damaged, and I had only one week to get it fixed. Within only a couple of days, he had my car ready to go with a brand new original manufacturer bumper cover which he gave to me for only the after market price. He kept me updated on the status of my car every day, and he and his wife are just all-around really great people. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for any automotive needs.
