One of the best run Habitat Restores.Well organized.
DIYers on a budget paradise. Never know what youll find, but always interesting stuff. Furniture, home goods, appliances, building materials and more.
Great customer service. Clean and organized. Thanks to all the workers and happy holiday.
Donating Furniture, very pleasant customer service.Prompt response on my email and phone calls.Great Service Lena
This place doesnt help people. 😒 called several times i also left messages to get help with Housing I never received a call back.
Really didnt have much to choose from. I notice there prices have increased since reopening from Covid closing. Selection was limited. There was an entire room that customers use to have access to to view furniture that is now closed off to the public.
There is an ever-changing variety of everything needed for your home (furniture for every room; bathroom, yard, and kitchen appliances, cabinetry and furniture; dishes, glasses, knickknacks, and more)! Everything is extremely affordable. But one of the best things about this location is the personnel. Every person who works here is friendly, attentive, and helpful. They make shopping for your family needs a total pleasure. Check it out - you will not regret it. Bring a truck - youll probably need it for the finds!
I contacted the Norristown Habitat for Humanity Restore to donate furniture from a business that was redecorating. The gentleman they sent to pick up the furniture were professional and courteous. They did an outstanding job of maneuvering furniture in difficult spaces and were fast! Ashley (their coordinator) also did an amazing job scheduling the pick up in a timely manner. I cannot speak highly enough. Fantastic organization
Favourite thrift stores where u can find treasure
Its a shame. Everyone who works or volunteers there is super friendly and amazing. But like many other reviews mention, its a hit or miss. We learned that things are way too overpriced because the store manager (Heather) forgets that most of these items are second-hand. A used sofa from 1988 was marked nearly $200. We asked her if she thought that was more than it should have been for a donated sofa and she replied That IS the discount. So we then went to The Dump past KOP and found a brand NEW sofa for just over $200, and a new desk chair for $12! Assistant manager John (awesome guy like the other associates and volunteers) on the other hand prices items fairly, hence why some items are affordable. Its a store to give back to the community, not make a profit. One shopper had mentioned that Heather drives an $80k car. One can only hope its not true because Habitat for Humanity isnt about profit and corruption.
The Restore is full of really unique items. They have a lot of construction supplies, building materials, and really cool furniture. The sale of these items benefits the charity and its ability to serve more families.
John and Brittany were enormously helpful with our downsizing. They were pleasant and very efficient volunteers. Its always a pleasure to support Habitat.
I love the deals, bargine and prices. Different items daily
My mom brought a washer machine from here and she couldnt be happier
Ive found the most amazing treasures at the ReStore - everything from most of my furniture, dishes and decor to my stained-glass-fronted kitchen cabinets and several of my appliances came from there!
Sometimes youll find decent appliances or building materials here on the cheap. I got a fridge from here that still works great.
A great organisation doing great work. On top of this, its a great way to grab a couple of items of furniture/homeware you need. Especially if you like a bit of a refurbishing project!
Great place to find treasures, great discounted prices, lots of building materials in this location, lighting, furniture, doors, wood trim, appliances, windows, cabinets, knobs, tools, paint and much more!
