Good memories during COLnite events

I would highly recommend The Main Street Event center for your event rental needs. We were in a bind and needed some chairs for our church tent revival. The owners went above and beyond to help us out! They are kind, caring people who put pride in what they do and care about their customers. We will definitely be using them in the future.

Hosted a party here. The owners were great to work with. They helped me plan and were very accommodating. The venue was clean and decorated nicely. Highly recommended!

This place is awesome. We had a wedding there and they made it so comfortable for us to decorate and do whatever we wanted to make the day special for the wedding couple. They had amazing food, music downloaded that we asked for, djd for us, made announcements as we asked, setbup the way we ask and stayed in touch with us thru the whole event that made it so easy for us to enjoy every moment. You will never find a more relaxed atmosphere or nicer people to work with. AWESOME VENUE AND AWESOME PEOPLE TO WORK WITH MAKE FOR A MEMORABLE EVENT. THANK YOU

We needed a facility for 100+ at the last minute for dinner, following a funeral. Tracey and Arvo were easy to work with - kind, professional, knowledgeable and supportive. The team at the Center was accommodating and cooperative. We found the facility to be clean, cheerful and elegant and met our needs, without exception. Thanks!

Attended a Gourd Dance which was Fundraiser for Jacobson House. It was a full house with great music.

Spacious! Plenty of room for any type of reception or get together even after the DJ is set up. Even has a bar for your special occasion!

Already over-priced shot at the bar was obviously at least half water. Thinly veiled rip-off. Staff was nice, just dont waste your money on anything but sealed cans/bottles.

I would first like to say a huge Ahéhee and Ketepi (Navajo and Sac & Fox word for Thank You) to The Main Street Event Center, and to Tracey and Arvo the owners of this venue for providing a wonderful space for myself and my new husband Josh for our wedding. We had wonderful beautiful ceremony and reception. The space is great and has quite enough space for 120 people as they said. We asked for their wedding package and it provided the food, some drinks, cash bar, tables for the reception, cake table, gift table, outside space under the awning. They even set up a section for the bridal suite and one for the groom suite. They even include a DJ and an officiant in the package. There are a few things extra that must be paid for like certain drinks and beverages and more food or food trays. Now this was a great deal for someone on a budget like we were. The whole event can be inside which is what we did, we had the ceremony and reception here. It was nice especially in the HOT MUGGY Oklahoma weather.The most important thing to my husband and I was how sensitive and understanding they were to our Native American traditions. I myself am Navajo, Sac & Fox, and Prairie Band Potawatomi, and most of my family being Native American as well we wanted to incorporated our traditions in the wedding ceremony. These traditions may not be traditional by certain peoples standards, but Tracey and Arvo were more than understand of what we needed to do for the ceremony and helped us with incorporating my familys culture and heritage. Even though my husband is not Native he understands how important it was to me to have these traditions for us at our wedding, and we were worried at finding a venue that would allow us to do certain things my Native Traditions may require for a marriage union.Overall the experience was lovely and they were so kind when we had some craziness and stressful situations that happened on our end. They were so understand and helped talk us through things. We are both happy to have had our wedding and reception here. Even after the wedding was over myself, my new hubby, and some of our bridal party stayed back and had a few drinks from the cash bar and relaxed and talked before packing up and heading home.Another things I thought made this wedding special to us was that I am an oil painter and mixed media artist, and my work is based on my Native American culture. The venue owners allowed me to hang up my current body of work on their walls which was amazing to me, because some of my family hasnt got to see my work yet in person so that made the wedding all more special!This venue is great for people that are down to earth and want a more relaxed place to have their event. Also its on Main Street in Norman and has an artistic feel to it. They do not just do weddings, but they try to be open up for Normans 2nd Friday Art Walk, as well as doing events for reunions, concerts, and a variety of other events. We are so happy with the way it turned out and we are happily married! So again thank you for the experience and we both loved the way it turned out! I give this place a 5/5. Everyone has a different experience and our experience was positive! This is the coolest space with the coolest people to work with in Norman. Definitely check out the Main Street Event Center!

This old building is a dive. Its for bands just coming up in the musical world and the facilities are limited

Icons of OKC have had two signings there. The owners are great.

Its a space to rent when your party is bigger than you can host at home. Nothing more.
