Called to tow a vehicle from A to B; staff was friendly, fast, and reasonably priced. All this on a holiday weekend.

Trey is one of the best people that came at the right time. He helped me out tremendously after my car wouldn’t start. It turns out that instead of engine trouble (which was on my mind), turns out my car just needed gas (which wasn’t even a thought) so he out of the goodness of his heart and from his own pocket, went to purchase some gas for me and filled my car up. I’m so grateful for him and the company that came quickly as soon as I called it in!

The service they provided me with was not only extremely professional but very resourceful in helping me resolve my automobiles issue. They are a great group of people helping their community.

I called to have a non-operable vehicle towed to my house. The dispatch lady was very rude from the beginning, but eventually, she decided a dated receipt from the day prior was sufficient evidence that I wasnt towing a vehicle that still had an unpaid bill from the shop. Understandable, but who wants to be treated like a criminal for trying to get their car a mile down the road? If you say you will accept the receipt, than politely honor your word, or else politely refuse to until the shop reopens on monday. This rude lady was a delight compared to the driver though.When the tow truck driver arrived, boy was that a treat. In the process of getting the vehicle home, which was literally about a mile, he mentioned several times that he would rather just take it to the junk yard. Im glad that wasnt his decision to make! I asked him why, and he told me because its a f***in clown car. He also kept telling me the city of Norman would impound it because it doesnt run, and because it looks bad. I explained that it is black tagged and in a private drive, and he told me it doesnt matter. Hmm, I wonder if I can guess who called the city if and when I do get a notice. I realize people have different tastes and varying levels of knowledge about vehicles, but this has no bearing on getting the job done. I would even use the word threatening to describe the conversations with this driver. Certainly, I cannot call back and let them know unless I want my vehicle vandalized by this angry individual.When it was time to get it off the truck and into its parking place, it apparently wasnt as easy as he wanted it to be, and he told me Im going to have to call another f***in driver! He was not happy when he came back, as there were apparently no available drivers to help. Im not sure what two tow trucks in a tight space would have done for us anyways. We pushed the vehicle together, and luckily he was gone in a matter of minutes after that.To make a long story short, you should probably just call another towing company if you dont want the souring experience I described above. If you do find yourself in a pinch and needing their services, you better hope the driver likes the looks of your vehicle. If he doesnt, dont foolishly have him tow it to your house like I did. It was too late for me, but hopefully someone heeds this warning. Im sure this isnt the end of this episode for me. I will post more if this continues to unfold.If a friend with a truck would have been available, I would much much much rather have towed it home myself with a towing cable than do business with L and A Wrecker again.Update: just posted pictures of my f****n clown car described in the review. What an iconic vehicle. Its fully operable now and insured for 30k dollars. I hope you guys are embarrassed of your clown drivers. What a joke.Read all the reviews people. Its easy to see the pattern. It goes like this: customer posts review explaining how terrible and unprofessional this place is. Next, the owner posts a sarcastic, passive-aggressive apology detailing how its the customers fault. Sprinkle in a couple of paid, fake reviews, and then repeat. Unbelievable.

Very professional friendly group of folks. Whenever Ive had a vehicle to move theyre my go to wrecker service. Their rates are honest and reasonable, they have drivers on call 24/7 for any service you need done with your vehicle.Id use L&A if I didnt live in Norman.

The receptionist was very nice and took care of us quickly. We didnt have to wait long to get access to my vehicle. The driver that let us in to the yard was so nice and patient while waiting for us to get our belongings out of the car. He also retrieved a screwdriver for me so my license plate and frame could be removed. Very impressed with this company.

A Scam, they charged me for additional services they never had performed. Additionally the driver was rude and unprofessional.

Our vehicle decided it was time for the transfer case to grenade. I called L&A around 8pm last night to haul it to the dealership for repair. Their driver showed up in 30 minutes, was polite and efficient. Made short work of loading up the car, hauling it off, and unloading it. I told him he made it look easy...his response it is easy!. Made things a little easier for us, considering what happened to the car. Thanks L&A!

Nick was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The whole company was so understand. After being assaulted by two men at Quality Towing, these guys where amazing in getting my car off their lot. They picked me up to go get my car and were extremely professional. They were quick and so nice. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great service this week. Our daughter is at OU and her car wouldnt start. We called them to tow to a repair shop. When they arrived, they jumped the car instead, and suggested a cheaper repair shop that had quicker service. They cut the repair time by 75% and the cost by half. Super nice guys. We will definitely use them again when needed.

Had the pleasure of being towed by Mike. He did a great job towing my vehicle. He was fast and friendly. Overall he made my experience with L&A Wrecker a great one in a time that my vehicle wasnt working right.

Today my car was disabled in the middle of the road and I called for emergency roadside assistance. L&A responded. Im glad they did!! The driver, wish I got his name, was super helpful and we did everything in his power to get my poor Nissan to turn over. Situation, Couldnt get into park, keys stuck in the ignition and all the windows down and absolutely no power from the battery. We got little cooperation from the car, but we did in fact get the keys out and the vehicle in park... what won my ultimate respect was I was being that I was stuck on the road by myself, he waited with me to make sure not only that my vehicle was safely moved, but that I was safe as well. So to the man that helped me today (2:30pm on 5/29/2020 12th & Lindsey) A BIG THANK YOU!!!

Customer service is respectful but not very helpful or forthcoming with valuable information. The posted document detailing Oklahoma law regarding the claiming of impounded cars is out of date.

The wrecker driver was very knowledgeable about cars! It turns out that instead of a dead battery, I had a key issue! And he figured this out within minutes! These guys are great!

Theyre always there when you need them.

The dispatcher was polite and efficient, and driver was extremely nice. I had to ride along to the mechanic and even the truck cabin was clean and comfortable. Pricing was reasonable, I got the minimum charge for such a short trip, with no gimmicks.Highly recommended all around. The only less-positive part was waiting on the phone on hold for about two minutes, but the hold music was really good.

DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE TOUCH ANY OF YOUR VEHICLES. THEY WILL TEAR IT UP!!!!!!!!!Our Semi was towed 6/19/19. We called the driver and asked them to make sure they unhooked the driveline because our truck is an automatic. They said they did. Well we got our truck back and and less than 1 month the drive line came out. We called to ask them to reimburse parts. We spoke with Linda. She refused any and all help! She not only yelled at us and accused us of harassing her, the driver, and the police. We are filing a complaint with the corporation commission and contacting our attorney! LINDA THE OWNER IS A VERY RUDE LADY!!

Whatever you do do not use LA Wrecker. Total rip off. Lies and very rude. How do they stay in busy. Very tacky place. Also going to make sure everyone on my social media are aware of your bad busy. Not acceptable how do you think you can do this to people and get away with it. People take care of people. I had a business in Norman for 30 years and never would of treated people this way.

They were nothing but professional! I was in an accident which wasnt my fault. Chris showed up to take my car. He checked on my son and I and made sure we were okay before loading the car. He let me know every step and what to expect next. When we went in the next day to look at it and get my stuff the staff was friendly and Chris took us out to the car. When I called them about releasing it to the insurance they were friendly, made sure they had accurate information, and offered to call me once it was released. This is the best wrecker service in Norman and I would recommend them time and again! Thank you L & A for being so great!

This place is filled with the most wonderful people on the planet that work hard and earn every penny they make. Most of the negative reviews on here are from idiots that got themselves into the situation where their car had to be towed in the first place. Stop taking it out on people that are just doing their jobs!! I wish I could give each of them a hug every single day. Especially Linda, she’s a sweetheart all around.

My daughter is in College in Norman and her vehicle broke down. We called L&A to get it towed to a mechanic. They were there earlier than promised and Mike had apparently figured out what the problem was (a mistake by the dealership in our hometown when we serviced the car a couple of weeks back). Mike fixed the issue, test drove the car and advised my wife of what else needs to be done. I was told he was professional and friendly and did not try to rip a college student off. The only complaint I heard was that their system erroneously rejected two credit cards before accepting a third :-) Thanks Mike, keep up the good work. Hope she does not need a tow anytime soon, but will definitely call you if she does.

I broke down this morning and called my insurance to get a tow they sent out L&A. My driver was great he got there fast and was very professional. He was fantastic! Thanks Mike for the great service. Hopefully will never need to be towed again but if so illI definitely tell my insurance to send you again.

Thank goodness for L&A! Broke down on our way back from Texas, about 40 miles from L&A at 6:30 am. They were very nice and helpful when getting our location, called to let us know when they were on their way, and were very accommodating with our destinations. Yep, destinations plural. Kelly was kind enough to drop my friend off at school in OKC so she could take her midterms and then he took us to a dealership in Edmond to get our car serviced! Overall great experience with L&A! Highly recommend!

Business has been very nice talking to them today buthave given 3 different time estimates for being here to unlock my car located 6 miles from their business. first within 30 mins then 10 then 5 and now it’s been over an hour and I’m still waiting. It will be unlikely that I would ever refer them to anyoneUpdate—— I added a star due to theEmployee being very friendly and fast working once getting there. My main problem with this business is don’t give times to clients that cannot be kept, I understand things happen and get behind but this company was chosen because of the nearness and quickness that they could arrive.

Have had aeceral vehicles towed by L&A, and have had a good experience each time. Prices are reasonable, and the dispatchers and drivers have always been nice. I recently had a great experience with Mike.

I had a fantastic experience with L & A today, my vehicle died on me at the Soccer fields and the truck showed up very quickly, they even called ahead to make sure they would be as efficient as possible. Drew got my vehicle out of a pretty tough spot was quick efficient and professional the entire time. A big relief in a stressful moment.

There is an older woman who was there her name is like Carol or something you all need to let her retire not to be rude but she is beyond rude. I was trying to be nice as possible but by the end of the phone call all I could do was hang up on her you all need to replace her or keep her off of the phones or away from your front desk. I dont know if Im willing to step foot inside of your wrecker service because I feel like I might be yelling at her again.

The best customer service imaginable. Thank you Scott for coming to our rescue. He showed up, in a place that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, in about 30 minutes. He was able to get a stripped lug nut off my car and put my spare on. He followed me almost the entire way home to make sure we were okay and even told me to call if I had any further problems with it.I will recommend them every chance I get.

First of all, this place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My car was totaled and towed here so I was going to stop by this evening and get my things out of it before my insurance company came and got it in the morning. I called just to make sure it was ok that I stop by and the lady on the phone was extremely unprofessional and then told me that in order for me to get my belongings out of my car at 9pm I would have to pay $15... what? To me that just makes no sense especially if I’m paying to have my car there and it is, in fact, my car. I called back a little while later (same lady answered the phone) and asked if someone could please call me if my insurance company just so happened to come and get my car before 8am (because that’s when they stop charging you $15) and she was extremely rude and told me that no one would call me because they “don’t do that”. Overall, if you’re going to have your car towed in Norman there are many other better places to call. Customer service is extremely poor and they are truly just trying to get every cent out of you that they can. Would not recommend.

This place is horrible. The worse place for customer service. I came in respectful, talked to everyone politely. They told me I needed my registration, which I didn’t have in the vehicle. So I got my friend to bring me my registration from the house. I show up a hr later to finally get my car they tell me I have to wait 30 min. Why? Because only one person is available and they have to wait for a truck driver. You’re a 24 hr impound lot if you’re going to keep one person here, have an actual plan in place to alone someone to retrieve their car.

Started good went south real fast. The nice woman behind the desk was great did her job and we were done. She says go wait for a driver to let me in.so i pull my car up to a gate and here we go. First wont let me in the gate with car says no i have to walk i say i got roof racks and baby seats and stuff and he says well if you pull your car in you my want to steel the stereo. so we walk i pull my stuff. 2 baby seats roof rack all the paper work, doesnt offer to help at all. So i go back in to the nice lady and ask if what just happen was standard for this place and she says NO!!! I dont know why you were treated this way.

These guys are awesome! After my dad was involved in a motorcycle wreck the driver took the time to pick up his groceries off the street and put them in the shop fridge for him! Couldnt believe the kindness they showed. They also thanked my dad many times for his service in the Army and wish him well.

Went there to get my trailblazer that was impounded due to my stepsons bad choices. The people there was rude and not helpful at all. My wife showed her id to the worker cause the vehicle is in her name. I was going to drive the trailblazer, the worker never asked for my id. When we go into the yard to get the vehicle, the guy told me i couldnt drive the vehicle because he said i refused to show identification. I told him that i was never asked, so i went inside to hash it out with the female employee she then preceded to start lying to me. Dont get impounded in Cleveland county or deal with them if you can keep from it

The weekend evening staff were helpful and professional. Like any other tow confirm vehicle condition and hold them responsible for any damage or theft. This company committed no theft but minor damage to the underside.

I dropped off bf at this place and went straight home. I waited for an hour. I called and texted my bf so I decided to go back. I called asking to see if bf has left and she said I dont know. I said OK and said his name. She yelled IDK!!! I hung up and went up there. I saw my bf waiting outside for the police to inspect truck. I would not call this place. They were rude.

Worst service ever..a bunch of thieves. i just got all my things from my car today and the CD player in my dash was gone along with a bookbag that had a laptop in it...the whole car had been trashed and pilfered through!! better hope you never break down anywhere near L&A!! THIEVES

The lady sounds so nice on the phone but then we got down there and it was way more than they quoted on the phone and we had to get an avidavvit which no one mentioned and the lady was rude!!! Most expensive wrecker Ive seen. $112 just for the hookup. Also, a $15 notification charge when I didnt receive any notification at all. The wreckers themselves were nice but the lady at the front desk was very unfriendly and sort of rude. She was very unhelpful. I will not ever use this place again.
