So often when it comes to heating and air repair, when you call somebody out they sniff your unit for 4 seconds then say its broken. Alameda heat and Air does not do that! These guys are honest, true to value, they educate the client to know how to protect the ac integrity long term, they are fair on pricing, and dont just say its broken every single time they see a unit struggling! Best AC people in town and the only people I recommend calling!!

My air conditioner quit working at 9pm. I called several companies claiming to be 24/7 but none wouldCome out except Alameda. Aaron arrived within a half hour and had me cooling down in a few minutes.Aaron was professional and offered to look into my manufacturers warranty to get reimbursed.Happy with this company and will use them going forward.When they say 24 hour company, they stand by it.

On Sunday 02/14 during the coldest weather since 2009. the Inducer Motor on our heater went out leaving me and my wife to heat the house with a gas fire place. We called the heat and air company we normally use for maintenance who by the way also installed the unit. We were told it would be Thursday before they could show up. When we stated we had a maintenance contract the said they could come the next day Monday @ 5:00PM it took them all of 5 minutes to tell me what I already new. The technician then promised they would get the part and install it Tuesday. Tuesday came and went with no word even after me wife called repeatedly. Then Wednesday after several calls we were told it would be 7 to 10 business days before they could even get the part. Luckily low my wife heard of Alameda heat and air from a friend so what the heck it wouldnt hurt to try. She called and the receptionist said she would get someone to call, it just so happened the Technician was standing there and over heard he called us back right away asked us to send a picture of the unit and he would call around. It wasnt 30 minutes when he called back and said he may have found one and would actually drive up to the city to verify it was. So to make a long story short he drove to the city got the part and came straight to the house and installed the inducer in less than a hour. The technician was polite and professional and punctual. Alameda Heat and Air will be our go to heat and air company for all our needs going forward. Thank you Alameda Heat Air for bringing us out of the deep freeze.

My family lost heat yesterday evening during this rigid cold weather- I called several other places and either didn’t get a call back or they couldn’t get to me for a couple of days. I called Alameda Heat and Air this morning and they were quick to reply and said they could have someone out this afternoon and would call before heading out . By noon, Aaron was here and was eager to figure out the issue with my electric heater . Turns out it was a burned circuit box/breaker, whatever the correct terms are - (above my pay grade) but the point is, he could have easily charged me for a trip charge and have me call an electrician to fix this problem. Instead, he offers to get back out and get the part needed and come back to my house and fix it . This meant more to me than anything you could imagine and we were vulnerable to pay a lot more for this act of service and kindness- Even though he could have passed it off, he didn’t and did the right thing and the fee for his time, labor and efforts was minimal and way beyond fair. What a God-Send this angel was and my family will be forever grateful! Our heater is back up and running and we are finally comfortable again ! Please, if anyone is looking for a fair, trustworthy and reliable heat and air company, please consider Alameda Heat and Air. If you need to know the names of the other guys who didn’t even bother calling me back after calling 4 times to even troubleshoot ortell me they couldn’t make it, I will be glad to share that information too !

I’m so glad I called them! They are very helpful, explain things well, and got our heat running before the winter storm arrived. Also, unlike the last company we were using, they are going to research why our system is messing up instead of just saying they fixed the problem and moving on. Their prices are very reasonable too!

They replaced my outside unit in 1 hour and they were cheaper than everyone else I contacted in Norman, OK. During this service call, they fixed a secondary problem with my HVAC ducting for only $75 where other companies were trying to charge me $300 to fix it. Alameda Heat & Air also explained why my old unit went out and offered suggestions that I can do as a home owner to increase the longevity of my new unit. Alameda Heat & Air is a 5 star company and they will be my go to service provider in the future!

I’ve lived out in Northeast Norman for 30 yrs. and have had different problems with my a/c unit, plumbing, etc. Its always hard to get someone out here quickly (especially when it’s July) and my a/c stops. I made one call to them and I received a call back immediately and he was out here in 20 minutes. He was so professional & fair!!He showed me what was wrong, got the part from his truck. He showed me that the rest of it was fine, put the new part in and turned it on and had it running in less than ten minutes. I never write reviews, but he really deserved it. His names was Brian. Alameda Heating and Air saved the beginning of our 2021! We woke up on January 1 with a nonresponsive heater in freezing temps. AH&A responded quickly (less than 30 mins) and was willing to work with us to for a non-contact job during the pandemic, which was a huge blessing. They were on time and did basically what they said they were going to do. I only gave them 4 stars because I think they should have done a little more. I wanted my air conditioner serviced. I guess that didnt include cleaning the motor and pulling oiling it.The service man was very nice and showed my wife his to clean the outside coils though.

They did it well too and were pleasant. Very fast in getting back to me with the millions of questions I had. Highly recommend. I will use them for any of my future projects or builds.

Very fast, and quality work. But they will nickel and dime you to death. I’ve been a contractor for 10 years. If you give a bid it is your duty to finish the job within budget. They finished $2,000 or more over the agreed initial bid due to them not getting the job done right the first time and failing inspection. I would not recommend this contractor

Thank goodness we called Alameda heat and air . We had another service company [self owned single person business] that had been working on our home units. After 2 months of not getting calls back and just being told we needed a new unit, we called Alameda for a second opinion. Apparently all the wiring on our unit was not done correctly. So after some wire fixing and one small part, our unit is running fine! Would completely and unreservedly recommend Alameda heat and air!

$50 service call sounds great ... $280 for a connector and capacitor was WAY TOO MUCH ! Then came back the next day after still having the same problem and said the fan on the unit was bad... wanted $350, no way. We sent them away......

Brian came out and had my heater up and running in about 10 minutes. Was very friendly and explained everything that he had to do to fix the problem.

The first guy that came out barely looked at the system, said he couldn’t see anything wrong with it and left charges us $50 bucks and wasn’t working again that night, I messed with it and it broke every other time it came on. Had them come back out and a different guy came in and put in the time to figure it out. I was never refunded for the first guy.The 2nd guy was a solid four star job but the first guy was a 0 so I landed at two. Plus the company made no effort to refund the first guy.

Called on a weekend, had a guy come out the same day and he got me up and running. Nice people, fair price and good service. Very satisfied, will use them again.

I called this morning with a non working unit. Technician came out very quickly, diagnosed the problem, then after explaining what was wrong, went looking for my parts, found and got them locally, and by 11am they were back with the parts to fix it. By 1pm my unit was fixed and cooling great! I had used Alameda before and found them to be honest and very professional. Nothing changed from then to now. Im extremely impressed with their work and their professional way of operating.

Our AC went out in the middle of the night. We called the main number and received a quick call-back from the Aaron who promptly headed our way. I called for a late night fix, on a holiday weekend, and the on call tech came out and handled everything well. About seven weeks later, the same issue popped up, and the crew at Alameda Heat & Air proved what customer service centers on - the customers (and the techs). The handled my issue promptly and professionally, and helped me get warranty work on the parts from the first job. I’m definitely going to remain a return customer!

Aaron and the guys at Alameda Heat and Air really went out of their way to get my units looked at and diagnosed quickly. Unfortunately I needed an entire new system, upstairs and downstairs, inside and out. They told me this on a Friday and had everything installed on Monday!! They even programmed the new thermostats for both units and made sure I knew how to work it all before they left. I was very impressed and grateful for how quick and kind they were!!

I had them install a unit in my mid 2016. I was given a very competitive bid. The employee who did the installation at that time (currently not with the company) cut a lot of corners. Thankfully my husband who is an electrician was trouble shooting the whole thing as new unit was not working any better than the old due to the fact certain things were not done. We had to call the owner out and walk him through the issues. Aaron was great. He made sure the issues were handled. The only issue he was unable to undo was that this installation guy decided without consulting us to change the vent sizes in the living room and small kitchen from 8 vents to 10 Vents. Those rooms are horribly hot or cold now, so I have to keep them mostly closed. I think it can be remedied, but will do so in the future. I will use Aaron again.

Very quick to help me. My air wasnt working and it was very warm inside my house. Turned out that I needed a new control panel. The part was here the next day. I did have air conditioning until then. Somehow the technician got my air working. I will use them for all my heat and air needs. Awesome company and very skilled workers!

Great local company. I had an issue with an older unit, I thought for sure I would be looking at an expensive repair. Aaron and one of his techs showed up promptly and quickly diagnosed and repaired the unit. It turned out to be just a bad capacitor. I will be using Alameda Heat and Air in the future when this old unit decides to quit for good.

I had this company come out here to find a leak in my system and recharge it. The ONLY thing the company wanted to do was to sell me an entire unit at a cost of over $5000. My grandmother had a similar experience with this company. They wanted $75/lb for 410a which you can purchase a 25lb bottle of for $130 (if you are EPA certified that is). Complete rip off company!! Stay away from them, there are much more professional companies out there that will do the work you ask and not try to rip you off.

Aaron must be a decent person according to the reviews but this company as a whole is terrible. They charged me $175 for a $8 part, tried to up sell me on every part and piece in the whole system. Ive had heat and air guys come out and change a capacitor for $40 these guys wanted $150. Buyer beware. I will never use these guys again as long as I live.

I paid $50 for then to say I needed a whole new system at $4,500 for a 1,200sqft home.I called another place and they put a hard start on my R22 compressor that Alameda said was broke and rattling and now my AC works better than ever. I would not call Aladema for service again. They will just try to charge you the most for a service.

Alameda Heat and Air of Norman, OK installed a heat and air conditioning system in my home 30 years ago. After 30 years of service, the AC finally gave up the ghost on Friday, June 30, 2018, the weekend before July 4th. Preparations for a big celebration were in progress, so lack of air conditioning was a real hardship. Knowing that a hot weekend lay ahead, at 4:00 pm on Friday, 4 Alameda technicians arrived at my home with my new AC unit which was cooling my home by 6:00 pm. The work was provided at a significant savings compared to another AC company bid. Great work, great professionalism, great care for the customer, great 4th of July! 5 Stars!

These guys really are a class act!!! I was traveling through on my rv from Utah to MS. When one of my roof A/C stopped working. I called about 15 other A/C companies and they all declined to help me because it was an rv. These guys had my Motorhome A/C repaired in less than 2 hours from the initial phone call to them. And, all of this was done on a SATURDAY!!!! You guys saved my vacation!! Highly recommend!!

Ive used this company three times. The 1st time, the original owner (now deceased) came out and serviced our a/c..great guy. The second time the new owner came out and replaced my hot surface ignitor for my gas furnace. The repair was fast and he showed me the part. That was about 2-3 years ago. The ignitor went out again. I watched the repair the first time and it was doing the same thing so I knew what was wrong with the unit after checking it. I would have done it myself, but it didnt cost very much to have done last time by this company. Plus I run my own company and was busy that day. So I called Alameda told them what was wrong...easy peazy. An hour later two techs came out (for a one-tech job) both nice guys and they worked fast. All was fine until I got the bill. 30-35 mins labor and a universal $20.00 part cost me $305.00 Of that labor was $50.00. This was a hell of a lot more than what I was charged last time by the same comapny. Ive researched the part all over the web...$18-35 all day long. They charged me $255. thats like a 700% mark up. I have since called other service companies to compare prices. All were $200.00 installed. Caveat Emptor. Better shop around. I was planning on having my system upgraded and would have used this company, but not now. I tried calling the owner but my call was not returned.
