I reserved a truck with this company with plenty of time In advance. I missed a call from them the afternoon before my pickup to tell me they didn’t have any trucks and couldn’t help me. I was traveling across country and didn’t get the message and showed up to the pickup location only to be told they have nothing for me any closer than 100 miles away. This company is trash. Go with uhaul, I would rather pay a little more to make my moving experience go smoothly. My whole relocation process has been effected now. Thanks Budget, you really dropped the ball.

Everytime I come to this location i am always overBooked. An I am told there are no trucks available. Fortunately there is a nice lady named Erica. Whom goes the extra mile to help me an others out with our reservations. Erica I really appreciate you an your awesome customer service. You are really thorough and straightforward. Be careful here. Read everything they give you. Have them explain EVERY charge. Its by the airport.

I made arrangements to pick up a truck a few days ago. I was renting it for 4 days, paying for an extra day because I was driving 400 miles to the town to load my belongings that were in storage and move them to my new home. I get a call the day before pick up and was told that the size truck I needed wasnt available where I planned to pick it up. I could get a 16 truck there, but the 24 truck I reserved was not in service. I was told I could travel 50 miles (one-way) to pick up a 24 truck.I told them I had to go look at that truck and show the person helping me move the things I had to transport. When I called back that night there was no one there. I called first thing in the morning and was told then that the nearest 24 truck was in another state that was over 90 miles away from where I was. That wasnt acceptable and I asked what they could do about it.....nothing.No only were they not helpful....they were completely unapologetic and didnt have any concern that they left me on the day I had movers arranged to load the truck without a truck to load.U-Haul saved the day. I will NEVER USE BUDGET FOR ANY KIND OF RENTAL. I highly recommend U-HAUL. I was able to get a truck, the day I called and was able to pull it off.Poor customer service doesnt begin to describe it. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE is more like it.

One of the worst experience renting a vehicle. I booked moving truck day prior and when I went to pick up there was no truck for me. What I don’t understand is why provide confirmation number and take credit card information when there is no car to rent.

I made a reservation and the night before they canceled and said that they didnt have any trucks available, last minute and very unprofessional!

Do not, and mean Do Not, rent from Budget Truck Rental ever if you have to stick to a schedule. You call over the phone to confirm your reservation and hours before you suppose to pick up the the truck, you will get a call at the last minute stating that no truck is available. Customer service on the Management level is horrible, you would think youre in a third world country. No people skills.

I will start off by saying that I would give zero stars if I could. I reserved a 16 ft truck two weeks ago. The reservation confirmation email states that if I cancel within 48 hours then I will be charged a $50 fee. My reservation is for tomorrow and today at noon (its Memorial Day) they called me to tell me they do not have a truck available for me. I told them that was unsatisfactory to call me the day before because it gives me little time to rebook a truck and I was informed that is their policy. They offered a phone number to rebook through another budget location in the area, but they would not help me contact the other locations. I highly suggest going with another rental company.

I work in the customer service industry and I know there are things that employees do not have control over, sometimes policies/situations are just out of their control. I get it, I encounter that type of thing every day in my own job.That said, the employees here have absolutely NO regard for their customers. They lack basic human decency. I was absolutely appalled by how I was treated by them – not as a customer, but as a person. It was unbelievable the lack of character they displayed. Because of their behavior and treatment of me I will not only NEVER rent from Budget again, but I will never rent a car from any company ever again.I cannot state enough how absolutely inhuman and disrespectful these people are; it’s enough to make you doubt the future of society. If people like this are gainfully employed the future of our country does not look bright.

Reserved a truck online for pick up at this location and they couldnt honor my reservation on pick up day. They transferred my reservation to an equally flaky location in the next city over. Spent 25 mins on the phone talking with servers people just to confirm whether or not the transferred location was going to be able to honor my reservation and got fed up. Ultimately, I called uhaul and got a bigger truck on the same day for a cheaper price. Cos t2 hours of productivity for the day.

Review will be coming up in the next cpl days... All I have to say by reading the past reviews they have better stepped it up. Im not the one to deal with anyones attitude!

I reserved my truck months in advance to avoid that particular stress, only to find out they dont have a truck for me. They didnt bother to call me. I had to call to find this out. If I hadnt, I would have found no truck tomorrow morning. I dont know what Im going to do. One way truck rentals arent offered by everyone and now Im looking at the last minute. Do not trust Budget!

Slow service. If you have an early flight, dont book your car with them. They wont be open. They are suppose to be open at 6am, but they dont even try help anyone until at least 6:15pm. The Budget and Avis are under the same owner in VB.

This company is simply pathetic! Especially the manager at norview location in va. Shes. Unprofessional and have total disregard of her customers. I will never use budget EVER!!! Again.

We were moving my girlfriend and i down to the base im currently at and had to rent a truck. We reserved a truck and told us at first that we had no reservation then told us we had reserved two trucks. Not happy with that at all and how we keep getting tossed to the wind over the truck issue but we finally got the truck.Got to the base and unpacked and went to return the truck at the time the receipt stated we could (5:00). We showed up at 415 and realized we had to fill the gas back up. Told the lady what we were doing and went across the street to fill up came back and she had closed up shop in 5 mins. We left the truck there over night and came back the next morning to the shittiest customer service ive ever received in my life.They lied about what time we got there and said the computer said we got the truck there at 530 yesterday. They left at 420 how could they even state this. We tried to clear this all up and the woman wrote down refused to pay on the contract.... Went out to the car to call the help hotline and then charged us the 150 on our card while we were calling the hotline. Even worse the workers there snarled at my girlfriend who was trying her hardest to prove that these women were taking advantage of us.Worst experience ever. Wish i could put less stars on this page.

Cancelled reservation 17 hours before our longdistance move after we had made our reservation a month ahead of time and did nothing to help us secure another truck or pay for the difference of having to rent from another company on an urgent basis which gets a surcharge.will never use this unreliable company ever again

Poor service. System was down because of a storm, so they cancelled our reservation without telling us, charged me $50 for the cancellation and when we showed up, they told us to find another business because theyre computers were down. This was the day of our move. Rude employees, didnt offer a mileage discount, obviously need training.

Some of the worst customer service I have seen from any business. She is having computer issues but is also totally unwilling to make any attempt to fill the reservation from another location. Even if that is not possible to do the least you can do is be polite and apologetic.

Getting in and out to get the car was easy it could have been cleaned before hand the floor boards were a mess other than that good experience

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I rented a truck and showed up only to be told that there was no truck available and they “didn’t control the inventory” and I had to wait almost an hour to find a truck somewhere else. I had to drive myself over to the other location. Luckily they actually helped me. Don’t EVER use this location.

Had a reservation made, and where I was to pick up my truck, they had none. Customer service got me a truck that I had to pick up elsewhere within 2 hours.

Terrible, rude service. They seem to have different policies than their corporate call center explained over the phone....... Not to mention no manager in the store.

Worst customer service. More concerned with talking to each other than helping. Booked a car in advance and still had to wait 45 minutes to get out vehicle.
