Not the place you want to go for anything. Customer service and the rules they make up as they please to fit there financial gain is the number one reason youd rather go somewhere else. Next is the poor equipment they offer and look to charge you even if it was like that before you left. Please take your own video and pictures. Alot of fine print to there policy that is not listed on policy kind of give you there own interpretation of what its supposed to mean. Yes it may be a little cheaper but I promise youll definitely be glad you listen to this review.

Dominic the owner is a cool guy. We have rented here many times!! Generally rent dump trailers. We have never rented tools from his outfit. We worked on this plate packer for 25-30min! Lost 3 hours of production hand tamping the base for our flagstone patio job! Be aware that they don’t offer refunds. They offer a credit on your next rental😫🤯 Busted day!! Exhausted!!!Update 5/18/2021Although we had that one experience we have rented here multiple times since then without an issue. I love going here because he is honest and fair. I would highly recommend these guys to my friends and families👍🏾

I called Skyline to rent a trailer. I asked the Gentlemen about reserving a trailer. His hateful respond was “we keep up with no shows” My thought was geez I said I was on the way. I didn’t have a good feeling from the initial conversation. Same rude gentlemen waited on me that I reserved unit with. Staff is only concerned about covering a 3 page contract. 20 minutes of Warning after warning talking to you like a 3 year old. This way they can say it’s in the contract you signed. If you do rent from Skyline make sure you take photos of everything. They will back charge you for the littlest thing like a nail in a tire.Skyline I can’t wait for your rebuttal!

I found this business on Craigslist.com, rented a chainsaw and wood splitter at reasonable price with excellent service and equipment. Dominic was gracious and patient when I brought back the splitter with waterlogged engine after being out in the rain. Overall a great experience and I will definitely return.

WILL NOT USE THEM IN THE FUTURE!! The trailer was not even 45 min late and still charged a late fee even after I called him an hour before it was to be returned informing him I was stuck in traffic. Over priced but if your willing to sign your life away, he is a good last resort. He has on lot what you need but be ready to spend a hour there signing paperwork and him being on the phone half there other time. As a buisness owner, I try to work with clients that I know will be repeat customers...he has a lot to learn.

Charged me $72 for a deposit, but called it something else. Charged me $20 for being 20 minutes late. Almost 2 weeks later, STILL havent got my $72 back and got told its not what happened, its what I can prove. I will never ever come to this janky business again. Ever.

I called and rented a trailer so I could move a heavy piece of equipment for a project that I have going on. Needed a heavy duty trailer, they had the heavy duty trailer, I rented the heavy duty trailer, everything went well. Trailer was in good working condition. I went in the Thursday before Monday when I needed it. Paid for it so it would be available for me and on hold which it was when I went to pick up Monday morning. Everything went as it should have. Polite and friendly help. Bottom line, they had it, I needed it, I paid for it, they supplied it, I returned it. Picking it up again later this week to move the equipment again. Good people to deal with. Fair rental pricing. I read some of the negative reviews....I didn’t experience anything like this. I have a business and I know what it’s like to deal with customers. I also use heavy equipment and pull trailers everyday as I own several myself. Maintenance isn’t as simple as everyone thinks. Things break, wear out, whatever. Most people renting things don’t understamd that there is not an automated warning device that pops up and lets you know that something is failing on equipment. It’s easy to throw blame when one has no clue as to what they are talking about. I get it. Things happen. That’s life. If you can’t deal with it buy your own things.

We rented their 18ft box trailer for a move. The price was very reasonable, better than anyone else. It is an older trailer, but it works perfectly. It was ideal for our needs and they included a spare tire since we were going out of state. The personnel were professional and helpful. I would recommend Skyline Rentals.

Ive rented a two-wheel tow dolly and an 18 car trailer. Trailer came with all the tie downs, safety equipment, and even a spare tire. You get the rental for 24 hours. Hands down the easiest rental Ive ever done.

Rented a tow dolly here and after signing away lots of rights and liability waivers I was able to tow my project car using my Ranger (try that at a uhaul where they require truck to be 750lbs heaver than the car/trailer combo so towing is only for add on to the large truck rental). Got some useful and quick instructions on how to use the dolly before getting on the road too. Returns are only during business hours.

Rented a Stihl Backpack Blower ($30 a day). Excellent little machine.Staff is friendly and helpful. They thoroughly cover equipment operation.I didn’t like that they charged my card $30 initially to “be sure the card is valid.” That’s a $30 card validation fee that is refunded PLUS the equipment rental fee AND another $1.50 to processing fee. Not a huge problem ... just didn’t like feeling I have to prove my innocence. If this is a problem for you bring cash.

What a horrible place of business. They claim to maintain their equipment, however their equipment are in horrible condition. One of the tires were low on air and thankfully we caught it before a long trip. The spare tire they gave us shouldn’t even be considered a spare and rather trash. The trailers don’t even have fenders which should’ve been the first red flag. Very unprofessional place of business. You get what you pay for and I will never do business with them again and would not recommend them to a friend.

Scammy business model.I was so kind and gave the company the benefit of the doubt of pre-paying for two days in advance for a trailer, knowing Id need a trailer for this long—however, they have a no refund policy with no explanation as to why (red flag). They only offer store credit for a rental of some kind in the future. Plans change based on a job sites requirements or even in my case, needing a different trailer, and they offer no other equipment I could use. No refund policy for any remaining balance, is theft.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY if you value your money. Because they clearly dont.

I rarely ever leave reviews but after dealing with Skyline Rentals I felt it was a must! I am leaving a 1 star review due to customer service. I am truly amazed they have a 4 star rating, this business doesnt deserve half of that. The way they reply to negative reviews is extremely unprofessional as well.Right off the bat when you walk into their office you can tell it is not a serious establishment. Owners kids running around, the place is a mess, broken trailers all over the place and the list continues. The young guy that helps load/un load trailers is very rude and has no idea what customer service is.My friend Josh and I rented the trailer for 3 days, we were pressed for time on a trip we had planned so we decided to go with them regardless of the first impression. Upon picking up the trailer they gave us an unsafe bald tire as a spare. When I connected the trailer to my truck the trailer blew out 2 of my towing fuses and the lights did not work on the trailer. Not only did I waste time on their lot figuring out the issue I then had to go buy new fuses as well because as they told me they are not in the auto repair business so basically they told me to buzz off. In a response they left on my friends Josh review they called my 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport with 15k miles a busted truck which I find humorous given the fact that they run a busted business with busted trailers so they should reevaluate how they respond to reviews before name calling peoples vehicles.As usual before a long trip I checked the tire PSI on the trailer 3 of the 4 tires where at 20-30psi on a 65psi tire. Im glad I checked their tip top shape trailer before going on a long haul. Surprisingly the trailer made it to Florida and back and upon returning the trailer we hit some traffic coming into Atlanta so I called them to let them know I was running 10 minutes later than the 2:15pm return time on the contract. They mentioned a $15 late fee and they threatened to charge me for an extra day if I wasnt there before 3pm which I thought was completely unnecessary since I was giving them a heads up.Long story short they did not want to waive the $15 late fee so they squeezed an extra $15 out of me but I will never again do business with them nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I went to rent a piece of equipment and the staff was very rude. Since I needed the tool, I overlooked the rudeness. However, during the course of my transaction, the 2 yr old kid of the owner was terrorising the place and screaming.....Very unprofessional, the service advisor / front desk had to keep repeating herself constantly because this out of control kid. Now, Im a mother of 4 so I overlooked this also, it could just be a phase. They kept apologizing for his behavior, instead of correcting this. To each their own..(My grandmother said)... I was told the requirements for the rental over the phone and past rentals. It was a different story once I arrived. I drove 47 miles to support this local company because its close to home (local support) but far away from my work, which I was coming from... The owner said that they only hold the rental amount on my card but proceeded to run my card for $150 for a $15 rental for 24 hrs, which I only needed for 2-3hrs tops. (Pls beware of this customers.) Id rather go to another local business or larger Corporation that has standards and regulations. Most importantly, the last equipment I rented was old and outdated. I had to change the oil and clean the spark plug to keep it running. But I still tried to support them. My visit (3rd time)was a waste of time because I ended up with no equipment. This company will foreclose soon. Business is BAD! Dont trust them with your credit card information!

I’m going to leave a 1 only because 0 isn’t a true option to be seen. We rented a trailer today when pulled up there was a tire missing all the lug nuts (shoulda been a sign of what was to come) we made it a whole 30 ish miles to Ellenwood. The SAME tire that didn’t have lug nuts started to smoke. Called the company and they said “repairs were my responsibility” after 1. Getting pissed and 2 calling a mechanic we were told the trailer was NOT road ready. The wheel hub was worn to the pint of replacement, there was no hub cap or locking but. There was no grease in the hub. The whole situation was extremely dangerous and very uncalled for. The axle and tires were both unsafe.

I dont give companies a bad review unless they truly deserve it, and Skyline Rentals deserves it. I would give them a zero star rating but the system makes me give them 1 star.This summer I attempted to tow one of their trailers from Norcross,Ga to New Mexico. This was a HUGE mistake as the trailer barely made it to Arkansas before it started having problems. I asked several times as to the serviceability of the tires, hubs, and wheel bearings on the trailer. The young guy assured me that they had just serviced the bearings. I barely made it to Arkansas before the wheel bearing on the rear passenger side trailer tire went out, leaving me stranded in small town Arkansas for 25 hrs. Me being the fool, I notified Skyline of the problem as I was at a repair shop, thinking that they would be concerned about the condition of their trailer. Instead of hearing that their wheel had almost come off of the trailer while I was on on I-40, they were more concerned about a freaking $80 late fee that was due. I tried to assure them that I was willing to pay whatever late fees that was owed once I turned the trailer in but nooooo, they didnt want to hear that, they wanted the $80 that was due. They had zero concern about the trailer even after a professional trailer repair shop told them what needed fixed. The spindle was said to be bad and needed replaced but Skyline wasnt hearing it. They kept saying that their records showed that the trailer had been serviced. By this point I realized that they were playing the im covering my ass game. Domnick, the owner, even accused me of damaging the trailer as to why the bearing went out!After paying to get the trailer repaired I was back on the road but only made it to Conway,Texas before the bearing went out again causing the wheel to almost come off of the trailer. I was stranded for 13 more hrs on the side of the highway and my calls to Skyline were useless. More suggestions to me that I may have done something to cause the wheel bearing to go out. After realizing that they didnt care about their trailer, I took the same attitude and had my insurance tow it to Amarillo where I unhooked it and left it in the parking lot of a RV store.Words cannot express how furious I was about my experience with Skyline Rentals!!! Here I was trying to take care of their trailer and make sure that it was safe to tow and all they cared about was a freaking $80 late fee. I will hump a sofa 1700 miles on my back to New Mexico before I rent a trailer from Skyline.Skyline, donteven bother replying to my comments. The time to talk was when I was stranded on the highway.Do not rent from these unprofessional people! Take your business somewhere else.

Skyline Tool Rentals is a poorly operated company, although it has low prices. I rented a pressure washer from here, and the equipment was honestly worn and old as stated in a previous review; however, the individuals who operate the business contend that the equipment is kept in tip-top shape. Now, please be aware that the 4000 psi pressure washer (that I rented) cannot be turned off using the on/off switch. Instead, one must cut off the fuel source or take off the spark plug...so much for keeping up with the equipment...Anyways, I rented from them anyways because I had rented a pressure washer from Home Depot the previous week and just needed it to wrap up the job that was started last week.Upon returning the equipment, the employees noted that the pull string was stuck, so the equipment would not start (which is true). I could not explain what happened, and the employees said that they would investigate. The bottomline is they said they found something plastic inside of the pressure washer and said that I tried to open it and ended up frying the carburetor. Neither I nor the person I hired to use the pressure washer (who was also trained by their staff) tried to open the equipment at all, but now Im owing $240 for an originally $45 rental because I cant prove that neither of us tampered with the equipment; it just broke down while I rented it. Essentially, the paperwork you sign initially holds you liable for repairs as they deem is caused by your negligence/misuse; this means that if they conclude that you caused damage, you are held liable. Id highly recommend against this place because larger companies typically rent newer equipment with minimal worry about it breaking down. It is unfair to charge me to repair beat up equipment and accuse me of misuse, when I believe a previous renter opened up the equipment to cause damage.*************After reading the response from the company, I am extremely disappointed in the attitude of Skyline Tool Rentals. Firstly, an honest company would not bribe customers with $5 off their next rental for posting reviews to boost positive feedback. Secondly, an honest company would not shift blame to the customer whenever they are given a negative review as the responder did in this review and others. To clarify my issue, (1) the pressure washer was defective, worn, and old prior to my rental and (b) I did not open the pressure washer so I am UNFAIRLY being blamed for repairs I did not cause. I honestly believe that it is more advantageous for this company to shift the repair costs into the customer rather than taking it on themselves due to a stipulation in their paperwork. It makes absolutely no sense for me to have the ability to open the pressure washer, access a defective carburetor (that costs only $27 to replace according to Skyline), and refuse to replace it but instead wait to get charged extra $187 to replace the part by Skyline.Imagine if just 10 customers rented the pressure washer before I rented it. They used it, returned it (and assuming the proper functioning upon return), the equipment was rented to the next person. Most companies including this one would not to conduct a thorough inspection (i.e. opening the all of the equipment components) to ensure no one tampered with the equipment during the 10 successful rentals. This does not mean, however, that one of the 10 renters did not open the pressure washer, repair something that broke during their rental, and returned it in working condition. Then I, the 11th renter, rent the pressure washer, and something goes wrong from what another person did, and I get blamed for it because it occurred while in my possession.

Service started off great. We Rented a paint sprayer and ladder for a few days. On return day i enterd the store and was completely ignored for about 10-12 minutes. Then i was a few mins late and they charged me for another full day. I stated id take the equipment with me and return it the next day since i was being charged and the very rude guy stated id have to leave the euipment there. As i stood there from the beginning and watched as another caucasion man entered the store and he was treated with the upmost respect & professionalism. It made me start to think if i were being treated this way because of my skin complexion . Once i arrived home i contacted the bank to dispute the extra charge. Nothing happened. A few weeks later my card was charged another $45 from skyline. My experiece with them was horrible and i wont ever use them or reccomend them. I now use American Airless. Theyre an awesome company...
