I’ve purchased from here several times. Unfortunately it seems that all of my bigger purchases have been the ones that are not worth the price paid. Before this last time I purchased a trampoline, for $300 plus the 13% buyers charge and then tax. I was given two completely different trampoline boxes, I was told I would be given the complete set of I brought what I had back up there. When I arrived I was given a check and they threw the trampoline away, they didn’t have the trampoline I paid for? This is a little frustrating since I live over an hour away, one way, and I also had to get a sitter just so it would fit in my car.This last time I purchased a dresser that appeared to be new in the box and the description didn’t state otherwise, for $120 plus the 13% and tax. When my husband and I assembled we realized that there were a couple of pieces that were broken, we used a little wood glue and that fixed it since it wasn’t a weight bearing area. However at the end of putting it all together we seen that the top of the dresser was completely gone from the box, we now have a dresser without a top to it and I have no way to take it back up there even if they agreed to take it back.Very disappointing, would not purchase any big ticket items from them again.Photos attached to show what I purchased vs what I got.

Purchase process and pick up were easy. Staff was very friendly at pick up. I actually thought I was ordering from a different auction that I have used in the past and have had no issues with until I put the address in the GPS and got there. Oops. I take full responsibility for that!I bought several items. At least two of those items do not work (paid $95 and $22 + fees for them). I am ok that things are sold as is, but these items are completely useless and that was a lot of money spent on useless. I do not feel like the items were properly inspected by LOA as they claim that things are verified good (even though not 100%) when there were some obvious issues with the items I bought that made them heavy paper weights. There is a difference between verified good, but not 100% and not working AT ALL. I wonder if maybe they only check to see that all parts are present, then move on, and not actually test their items for function (just a thought).One item was a water flosser. As soon as I put water in it, the water came straight out the bottom of the device. It also did not even turn on or make a sound when plugged in. The on/off switched didnt function at all. It was also dirty.The other item I bought that doesnt work is a Schlage Encode electric deadbolt. I thought it was going to be ok, even though it had clearly been used and returned to Amazon (knew that was a possibility). I had installed most of the lock onto the door and everything was great, but when I went to go plug the battery cords up from the keypad to the deadbolt, a small flap was missing off the female side making the lock completely powerless and useless electronically because they could not connect/lock together. They would basically just fall apart right after attempting to connect them. This is also something that could have been checked and seen that it was not in functioning order to be sold.I did buy another item (bidet) that I am concerned about now, but unable to check without help and some baskets. The baskets are fine.My last issue isnt too big a deal, but on my receipt it there is a handwritten note that says spoke to on 4.21, which isnt true. They called and left a message, but never spoke to me. Based on some of the reviews about people trying to pick up items and having conversations with the company, I see there may be a flaw in their system. A better note would have been left voicemail on 4.21. Again, not a huge deal unless you are keen on customer service and proper processes.In the end, Im not saying dont use LOA, but just be aware as they themselves and others have stated in reviews that their items are not 100%. They do claim however that items are verified good. Im just not sure that they are truly checked at all for working, instead just for parts. I do feel like the items I bought had obvious flaws and would have been caught if check correctly FOR SURE. A check for power at minimum would have been appreciated. If you are buying something that isnt electrical and you can clearly see in the pictures it doesnt have damage, I say go for it, but I wont be back. I take responsibility that I bought at my own risk with their warnings, but the other auction I use allows returns and Ive never bought any obviously non-functioning items from them, so Ill be sticking with them.This is more just an informative review based on my one and only experience with them. I am happy to see that the majority of customers have had a great experience and I hope that continues! I should note too that based on past reviews that the clearly marked no returns, sold as-is all over everything that I did not bother calling them to try to remedy this. I again accept that I bought at my own risk. I just want to make people aware.

Slow on getting items to the car

Have had nothing but good experiences in my 2 dealings with this auction house. They do a better job than most in describing the items for sale. I drive from Nashville so it means a lot to be able to place faith in the seller regarding the condition of the items they are selling. Have gotten some good deals from here so far.

Sold fraudulent items I purchased 16 boxes of baseball cards that were supposed to be factory sealed. I received the items however the were repackaged cards. The cards had been opened - had the best cards removed and then the boxes were resealed to make them look new.

Never got an invoice about winning bids, didnt know I had won until I saw I had been charged on my card. Missed pickup and so my stuff got sold because I couldnt go before my surgery. Top notch business. Its my fault I didnt get emails? Nope. But I can spend my money elsewhere.

Auction is completely online only. There is no live auction person going over each item. When time runs out that items auction is over. My biggest mark it the drive to it. It is not far but down Nicholasville road is not a fun trip.

Good auctions. Beware of some open box items, usually there is a reason for it. As long a you dont expect something brand new, youll be ok.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. Sells broken missing item products with zero accountability and no recourse for consumer. I didnt ask for a full refund, only asked for consideration on a product that is completely unusable and they hung up on me.

The worst auction in Kentucky, if you like something that is expensive, the owner starts bidding with you, so you can pay more money.
