The Professionalism and leadership of this Company is diligent in making things right.

After I called to confirm the appointment for an estimate, explaining I had to drive 45 minutes to the house...they just didn’t show. I called to ask if they were lost and the lady said she had written my number incorrectly. She said they had already came and nobody answered the door. My son and I were out in the yard waiting for them for an hour and a half. THEN she said they came and measured the yard and would send an estimate later!!!!! They must be invisible. Anyway, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Grassroots was a solid choice for getting Zoysia Sod in our backyard.They came out to do a thorough site survey of the back yard. Their prices were on par with competitors but their responsiveness was the reason we chose them. They gave us next steps and a time frame and they stuck to it. It was about a month wait time due to increased demand, but they emailed and called ahead to keep us informed.Our backyard needed to be done professionally. They sprayed, prepped the dirt, optimized the sprinklers and laid the sod. They provided steps to take care of the yard. We followed their instructions and the backyard lawn now looks great.

Hired Grass Roots in 2016 to re-sod front yard, re-map sprinkler system and signed up for regular treatment and fertilizing. All was good in the beginning but over the course of the next few years I had developed small brown spots and requested them to figure it out and fix it. Yes they sent someone out to test and view but after a hand full of visits there was no response from the company about what was happening to my lawn or was there any attempt to resolve it. After calling to cancel my service, I was asked why I was canceling, when told, the lady got an attitude with me telling me they sent someone out more than once, but she failed to understand my actual problem was there was no call to me about the issue or any type of plan developed to solve the problem after I had made several call to them trying to find out what was happening. Looking at a problem doesnt fix it.

I have a small residence. Trying to get people to help you put grass in and sprinkler in a patio home yard it’s almost near impossible. From the moment I called grassroots they answered my call, we’re very professional came out and gave me an estimate. They put my grass and sprinkler/ irrigation in ahead of schedule date. . They had an army of people and it took half day to do everything. Extremely happy with them, working now on using them for monthly lawn services.

Didn’t even get passed the estimate. The rep showed up to measure and offer a quote and his lack of professionalism and fragile ego put us off. At one point, correcting my wife when she referred to lawncare as simply, “mowing the lawn.” Additionally, the customer service rep made no attempt to offer an apology and only cemented our decision.

We can’t say enough great things about Jason and his crew ! Professional and on time and excellent work and quality ! They did a total lawn and landscape makeover for our home and irrigation, such great work ! HIGHLY Recommend !

Absolutely horrid customer service. The owner’s wife answering the phone was unpleasant, unprofessional and when I explained my frustration with the lack of professionalism (she stated she would have someone come to my house and do an estimate on a specific date and no one showed up and no contact from the company), she didn’t provide an apology (like what you expect from a company that fosters excellent customer service) instead I was presented with hostility, defensiveness and a “ok...good-bye...click”. Will never do business with Grass Roots and will make sure I share my experience with my neighborhood group, family and friends. Disgusting!

Excellent and prompt service. Very knowledgeable in lawn science and irrigation design. Reasonable cost for all lawn services and new installations.

We signed on with Grass Roots when they were relatively new and enjoyed many years of excellent service. Unfortunately, over the past 2-3 years, their service declined greatly. We have had uneven mowing with horrible streaks left in the yard. We have had more sprinkler heads broken than we can count, all repaired by us. They continue to blow fallen leaves into a fence corner and not remove them. We have continued to pay over $200/month to have the chemical treatments done by these professionals only to completely loose the front yard. I sent email in October 2015 and again in late February 2016. I never received feedback from them. The end result is we are paying approximately $4500 to have our front yard replaced. First we have to replace yet another broken sprinkler head, then have it treated to counteract the pre emergent they put on last month, after we asked them to discontinue that treatment back in October. We support small business. We support local business. We do not recommend this company.

I called their office to see if they could remove some iris plants from a watergarden. I took off from work to meet with the employee providing an estimate. When he arrived I told him what I needed and he said they dont do that because the plants were in water. A complete waste of my time.
