We have never found anyone that can cut our son’s hair like Johnny. We moved to Oregon, but had to get in to Salvi’s for a quality cut, on our recent trip out. Most barbers just don’t have this type of consistency and skill.

Didn’t listens to customer requests, don’t go there for modern hair style. I was curious what kind barber was it, and reviews told that it was great but now i just think that it was fake reviews. And of course now i have the worst hairstyle in my life. Will not go there no more

He not only gives you a COMPLETE grooming of all your bizarre body hairs (nose, ear, neck, eyebrows etc) leaving you feeling wonderfully groomed and well taken care of he gives you a GREAT haircut!..they are the best! And youll hear the best local news from cops, customers that you will ever need to know about the community. Plus John employs a very diverse employee base...black, gay, women...hes very open to all! Go there...you will not be disappointed with your cut!

They have been open for Covid since May. Call and make an appointment if you can (no more writing your name on the whiteboard. You walk in, they’ll spritz your hands with some alcoholic hand sanitizer, and do a contactless temperature check before you enter. There are clear plastic dividers between the seats and you are required by law as of now to have a face mask going in. You will use the apron and hold it against the facemasks for the duration of your haircut. The windows will be open and you can ask for the AC to be turned on.I hope this helps those in the neighborhood.Some of the barbers opted to get unemployment checks from the government, so if you’ve got a favorite barber, call to check.

John and his team are the best! Ive been a long time (10 years+) customer and wont go anywhere else. Worth the 30-40 min drive to get there. They are busy for a reason: no gimmicks, no nonsense - just a top quality haircut for a fair price. And lollipops for the kids, too. :)

Ive been going to Salvis for years and have never gotten a bad hair cut. Theres always at least two or three barbers working so the wait is always short. They know all their customers and the friendly atmosphere make it a great place to go to for a haircut.

Hadnt been to a barber in 9 years, been cutting my own hair for at least that long. When i moved across the street from Salvis i noticed it and my roommate started getting his haircut there. When i decided to stop buzzing my hair once a week and enjoy a little hair every now and again i stopped in on a Saturday, tossed my name on the board, grabbed a bite to eat at Eddies, and when i walked back by they were calling my name. This place is a true barber shop, great atmosphere, great experience, wouldnt go anywhere else.

Walked in and got 6 months worth of hair lopped off and looking great in about 30 minutes. Great atmosphere and prices.

When deciding on a barber, I typically look for the following: competent, fairly priced, reasonable wait times, friendly, and convenient location. Salvis barber shop has it all and more. All the barbers are great, and you dont need to wait for a specific barber because everyone is very good. The conversation is friendly and fun, and depending on whos in the shop you are likely to hear some good jokes while you wait or get your haircut. The shop has an old time feel, and most people who come are regulars and everyone knows each other. The prices are about as low as it gets for a good haircut, and they use a straight razor with warm shaving cream on the back of your neck at the end of the haircut. I cant say enough good things about these guys. Ill never go anywhere else unless they move.

Closes at 5. Been there two times well before 5 and they were already closed. False advertising! The one time I made it in, it was a long wait and not a great haircut. Would not recommend this place.
