Great place for pedicures

I have finally found a pedicure locally that makes me happy at a reasonable price! Very clean spa that is much more than the little store front leads you to expect. I will be back...thanks Patty!

I have had facials, pedicures and highlights and my hair done by Coy. He is great and I highly recommend him. He really listens to you and makes great suggestions for whatever you need. I really enjoy the atmosphere at Lorraines. The staff is always helpful and polite.

I will never let anyone else touch my hair as long as Im in Hampton Roads. Jamie was amazing and did a great job on my hair color. She was very personable and help me feel great about showing off my new hair style. Told me how my boyfriend and I should of gone out for date night!

I am a newer client and Coy is my stylist. He does a superb job on my color and style. Coy is extremely talented and listens to my requests and understands my personal style. I have always been pleased with my results. I am seeing Coy this Saturday for my first facial with him, really looking forward to it. My mother and I had gone to this salon in hopes of getting our nails done. Ww had looked online and had called a while before to see if we need appointments or anything. They had said no, there website also had nothing. When we had arrived, I was already pretty unimpressed with the place. The way it was set up wasnt nice and there was no one at the desk when we got there. There was a sign on the desk saying they only accept cash, checks, or Lorraines gift cards. Now this wouldnt have been a problem if that had been on the website. When someone finally got to us, she had said we needed an appointment. We were surprised and said when we had checked they said we didnt need one and it didnt say anything online. She had responded with the website is very outdated and they havent had time to update it. She said it like we should have known that, like it was our fault we didnt know. We had asked when there next available appointment is and she said in 2 weeks. We had asked if we could just cash out the gift card and she said that she couldnt do that. We had ended up using that gift card to buy overpriced hair products we could have gotten at tarTar for less. Overall we had a bad experience and I do not recommend.

After a upsetting turn of events for my wife and I anniversary, this spa came through for us last Minute. My wife after today would have been here three times now, she enjoys it. Im not giving it 5 because of our appointment being canceled the morning of and no one able to accept us on a special day but we got taken care late in the afternoon. Giving it 4 stars due to location, price, and customer service.

Have not visited Lorraines as Jaime recently relocated to VA. She has been styling my hair for years. My hair is normally thick with out of control frizz and curl... Jaime has successfully tamed my wild child locks. She has straightened my hair and did so well that it never looked as if it had been processed. She was the only person I trusted to style my hair for my wedding. If you want a good cut, color, or someone who will listen and give sound advice about your style choices --- book an appt with Jaime at Lorraines!! Dont be afraid to try a new sylist, it can be the best thing you do for yourself.
