I made an appointment for a State Inspection, regular scheduled service (I assumed they would take that as a Chevrolet recommended service), change the cabin air filter, discuss potential solutions to the Major Bolt EV vehicle Fire recall, and repair plastic piece under the passenger front bumper.The Service Manager, John Sherman and Chase Johnson took care of my visit. The service department did not perform the state inspection and when I questioned it John Sherman recommended I make another appointment for an inspection. Nevermind that I had driven from Chester, VA to Newport News, VA for this service appointment. The drive takes 1 hr, 13 min and is 73 miles one way.The answers about the recall were sarcastically answered by the manager giving me the impression I did not matter because I am a senior citizen and a woman.The serviceman assumed it was my first service without asking me. The truth is it was my third service. The reason it was not in the computer is that Chevrolet service departments do not take the time to enter service visits. Entering information about the car in the computer makes overall service on a vehicle better. It would be better for Chevrolet, the customer, and future owners.I am dissatisfied by how I was dismissed. This organization is not customer friendly and possibly not customer friendly to women. Read that my woman friends.

I worked with Gil to buy my used Traverse. His customer service was phenomenal. Megan helped with my protection package. She was not pushy at all, but exceptionally informative. When I came to have my protective package completed through the service center, I worked with Jeanne. She was pleasant and kept me informed through the whole process. Everyone is so kind and welcoming at this business. I highly recommend checking them out!
We only have one car, a Chevy Equinox that we love, and it needed extensive service. The Priority team took wonderful care of us. They shuttled us home, then when it was obvious that the needed parts were going to be a long time coming, they loaned us an Equinox (nice, because we didnt have to learn a new vehicle). We had a trip planned right in the middle of all that and they had us return the loaner and shuttled us to the airport. A week later, parts still not in, they loaned us another Equinox. As soon as the parts arrived, they installed them and called us. We are very grateful. Im 67, and Ive had lots of experience with car dealerships. Never have I been treated so well, so courteously, and so kindly.

Nick the Service Advisor might be the best person doing this job. I just bought a new car from another dealership and it wasnt a Chevy, wanted to make sure it was not a lemon and so I took it to a Chevy Dealer and he checked it out for me. His overall knowledge and customer service is what puts him above the majority of people at his position. It was a 45 minute drive from Norfolk but I read the reviews and talked to one person and...it was worth it. Great Job Nick and all the employees who also made the entire experience wonderful. Going forward I will always get my car serviced there.

Worsts experience ever, I book an appointment 3 weeks out. Once I returned from duty to get ac fixed, they said they couldn’t find my appointment. It’s 7:30am they told me to wait until their manager comes in at 9:00am. So if someone messed up my service would be completed today if not I have to rebook. This is the kind of service I stay away from.
Upfront disclosure, this is the 12th car I have purchased from Priority.Absolutely perfect, Found the vehicle I wanted online. Called to confirm availability,Spoke with the manager and sales person. Confirmed price and down payment amount. Completed the online application. Picked up the Wifes new car the next morning (in and out in 20 minuets). 2 phone calls, Two emails and 20 minuets at the dealership... dont get no better than that.
I brought my last Chevy truck to the priority Newport News service department and this is where the relationship began. I always received great service. So, when i was ready to purchase a new truck I went to priority Chevrolet in Newport News. Got a great deal on my 2017 Chevy Silverado Z71. I still have no complaints about the service you receive at this location. My latest service need was for engine code P219A. I needed new fuel injectors. I believe the service representatives name is Lecia. She was super great, professional, courteous, and just plain helpful. She made sure I was taken care of and was quite helpful throughout the whole process.
My car was originally there in January, my car would shake engine reduction, esc. road traction, and other things coming on my dash. The dealership told me I needed a new battery and that nothing was wrong with my car. Two weeks later my car did the same thing. My car was in the dealership because it was stolen so I said hey while it’s there (getting locks replaced) can the mechanic look at it because it’s doing the same thing I said it was doing a few weeks back. Dealership called and said the exhaust was bad and they needed to replace it. I said sure because I really need reliable transportation. Drove the car home and it did the exact same thing a few days later. I tried seeing if another shop could fix it, but they had no availability. I called back to the dealership and once again my car was back up there. I was told they wanted to keep it there to see if it repeated what I said it was doing. One person Joni told me it did, and I needed the thermostat replaced and the thermostat sensor replaced. I told her I would think about it because I just paid around $500.00 for the exhaust they said they fixed, now this will cost almost $600.00 to replace these parts. I called back and Joni was out on a family emergency, and for some reason she was the only one to help me. I called back 2 days later and she was still out and I asked to speak to the manager, her name I believe was Chris. She said my car never repeated what I said it done, and the thermostat was getting stuck and it was recommended to replace the sensor at the same time, she also said this may not fix my problem. I was telling her I cannot keep giving them $500.00 at a time to fix my car and it never gets fixed, and I mysteriously got discovered from her. I called back and she said she was talking to me and her phone went out. Strange enough, I’ve been working with this dealership for over 2 years and that has never happened, I believe she hung up on me. Nonetheless, I decided not to get the thermostat fixed, drove my car home and as soon as I turned on my street my car did the exact same thing it was doing in January. Mind you, I paid two diagnostic fees of $89.00 each time except the last time because I disputed the charge. This was highway robbery if you ask me. Very poor customer service and an extremely poor customer experience.

I brought my GMC Terrain in for yearly inspection and oil change. The job was completed in 1 hour 15 minutes. I was very happy that I didnt have to wait very long. John Sherman is great to work with!
They are always so helpful and we love the lifetime inspections and oil changes that Priority Chevrolet Newport News provides. You can even have those services done for free at any Priority dealer if the Chevy location is not close to home. This is the second Tahoe weve purchased from them since 2019 and the experience has been great both times. Gil, our sales person, was fantastic. I like that hes low key, no pressure. Hes easy to talk to and I never felt he was hiding anything from me. And, he got me into the car and out the door relatively quickly. Past dealerships took nearly 5 hours to get me my car with a load of extra accessory talks and high pressure sales tactics. I did not have to go through that with this dealership.
I had a difficult experience with trying to get my vehicle reviewed to repair. I advise the service person several time s to contact Car shield and they refuse to call them. They offer nothing more than excuses. I was very unhappy the way I was treated as a customer. If they did not providei service to car shield customers they should have knowledge that information to Car Shield Customers or any other business with them or even recommend any person there. to visit them. Especially if u r a car shield subscriber.
The buying process was smooth and the staff was super friendly and polite. But what strikes me the most is the next day, on the way to pick up my registration and plates, my friends autistic 9 year old threw up all over the back seat. The staff was very sympathetic and went above and beyond the call of duty, to help me protect my investment. They even loved on my dog like she was family too!

Went to this dealership to look at purchasing a vehicle. I had already talked with the dealership about my trade and they have given me a quote which was a little lower than other dealerships but this dealership had a car i was interested in so i was willing to work with them. But after walking in, an older gentleman who i assume was the sales manager for absolutely no reason began to get an attitude with me before even looking at my trade and didnt bother to take the time for me to explain i was negotiable. This is one of the rudest and most unprofessional dealerships I have ever walked in. He was just grumpy and rude and cost them my business for life. The only positive i can say is the sales person Sade was super nice and helpful. But not much she can do with management and leadership with an attitude like that. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Got state inspection done at dealership. That said first that the suspension lower ball joints are broken and needs $1100 repair. I asked them to give me pictures than they said it has more clearance than acceptable. Then they said they have to put rejection sticker to which I agreed. I went to other place and they double checked and said there is no problem and they cleared the inspection. Waste of time and money on extra trips on Uber without a car.
Everything went great and service dept staff are super friendly. I just gave 4 stars and an 8 because it was my first visit and it takes consistent excellence to earn 5 stars and a 10.
This two star rating is not for the quality of the service. Their service is excellent, they even put our new plates on our car for us at no additional cost. Their service is five stars.This rating is because their customer service quality is inconsistent. They also didnt give us an indication of how long the wait would be and we ended up waiting for two and a half hours, which was a little longer than we were expecting, especially since we had an appointment. It would be helpful to say how long the wait time will be when we next bring our car in for service.

I was there 2.5 hours to get on tire repaired and I had a 10:00 appointment. No excuses justify taking that long on 1 tire. And the service people knew I was waiting for it!!
Recently went in for a oil change for my 2017 impala. Everything was straight forward and hassle free. The waiting area was neat and clean and there was free hot beverage machine. I’m so glad I made the decision to purchase my vehicle here.

Had an easy buying experience. They will give you guarantees to make repairs on used vehicle, state they will call when parts are in for the repairs, offer to pick up vehicle to perform the repairs. They never called, made attempts to call them first was transferred to service department, then told you need to talk to sales department, then told you need to talk with the representative that sold you the car. He wasnt available was bounced back to operator that somehow transferred me to Priority Chevrolet, then transferred back to NewPort News. then told all managers are busy they will call you back. Not. So I waited a few days called back played the transfer game again. Reached the sale representative to be told that it had been to long since the sale, repair guarantees are only good for 30 days. Will not do repairs.
Everyone was very nice. Anna and the sales manager take a lot time and patience to help me get the right car and the right payment. It took hours for me to feel comfortable with a payment plan and they both stayed right there with me.
My only complaint is that we are not local and needed work done and the communication was terrible. Had a hard time getting emails and phone calls returned.Although, when we arrived in person we were treated extremely well and they even gave us a car till ours was fixed considering we were on vacation and took the opportunity to have the repairs done. The first repair was unsatisfactory and the manager agreed. The paint on the tailgate was bubbly and obviously unprofessional so he had it completely re- done.It was more time consuming than expected but was well worth it and we are very pleased
Very thankful that we stopped by last Sunday. Our family needed something to fit our needs and size. The plan was to just look around and get an idea of what would work. We were greeted by Larry and the rest is history. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and so kind to let our 6’1 teenage climb through a few different SUVs to see what would work. The next day Larry emailed me with the perfect SUV for us. My husband and I had a great experience and it felt like working with a friend rather than a salesperson. Also... in absolute love with our Traverse!
If I could give it negative stars I would. Customer service is the worst Ive ever seen! I called to see how much the multiplex tailgate is and and the lady gave me attitude and hung up on me and wouldnt answer the phone Then the manager didnt do anything.
Prioritys Service Department is exactly what I have begged for as a consistent chevrolet dealership service customer at other dealerships. They are the first of my experience that has kept the same energy before and after sale of a vehicle! Nick in service, actually called me when he said he would, he was transparent if something was running longer than expected, which is all I ask as a customer. I have had plenty experiences where service technicians avoid eye contact and pretend they didnt take your keys from you hours ago, but there is nothing like that here. Nicks level of service gives me confidence in the entire service department and has made me a Priority customer for life!
I normally dont write reviews but I want to warn people that they may be buying a lemon. I have a brand new 2020 Chevrolet Camaro that is covered under warranty. The service light keeps coming on and says safety restraint system. I have been here several times now trying to get it fixed and they refuse to fix it. It comes on intermittently when someone sits in the passenger seat. I told them this. They had the nerve to tell me that my husband was too tall and thats why the service light comes on. My husband isnt even 6 feet tall and I know thats a bunch of lies. I have contacted GM corporate and they refuse to help me as well. I even asked them if they could help me if I was able to pull a code myself. They said no that wont work. I have pictures of the service light and message that comes on. This is more than an issue now- but a safety concern. I fear that something is wrong and I can be in potential danger. I will be contacting a lawyer shortly after my third visit to induce the lemon law. Dont ever buy a car here and dont ever get service here.

The least stressful major purchase that either my wife or I have ever had. They took care of everything and did not pressure us at all. Even though I did not purchase my vehicle there and it is more than 30 miles from my home (there are closer Chevy locations), I will continue to have my vehicle serviced there.

I made an appointment for 9am, normally you would think with making an appointment you would be in and out but unfortunately not. I waited over 3 HOURS for a 30min oil change. Got out of the dealership at 12:20pm. I don’t recommend this location for services even as simple as an oil change.

Dropped my car off today June 08 for my appointment at 7:30am. When I scheduled my appointment for a diagnostic I specifically asked they guy how long it would take. He said if it takes more than two hours they would give us a call. I sat in that waiting room from 7:46 until now (10:03) I went to ask what was up the lady in charge of services tells me that they currently have no one to do a diagnostic. Are you freaking kidding me!? Didn’t even have the decency to shoot a call or a text! When I pointed and told her what the guy next to me said she replied “they are not me”. Smh I’m so upset rn !

Although I was the one who chose the vehicle and decided to purchase it, we were never given a full “tour” or walk around the vehicle. Dealership not very accommodating with regards to our schedule. I was told we had to pick up the vehicle that weekend 5/29/5/30. Even knowing we were coming from over 3 hours away. Therefore I didn’t realize until we drove the vehicle home that it was missing a feature that I really wanted. Dealership staff was ok, interaction was minimal. They just wanted us to do our paperwork and leave since we arrived 1 hour before closing to pick up our vehicle. I would definitely not recommend Priority Chevrolet to any of my peers / friends/ co-workers/ fellow veterans / contractors/ etc. I am posting my review on google also to share my dissatisfaction with Priority Chevrolet. I understand that times are tough for everyone during COVID but you shouldn’t sacrifice the customer experience just to get the sale done before the end of the month.

I had a good experience, at first. Kat was very helpful and had no problem stating the hard truth.It was good until her manager decided to walk over, after I changed my mind on the vehicle, and he said “well then why would you waste and hour and a half of time”. Can’t remember his name, but he was a tall white guy and his name started with a “j”. So rude.So Kat, thank your manager for losing you the sale because I planned on leaving with the Malibu until he said that.I also asked if there was any trailblazers near by and they said there was no one in the area with any and no one will be getting some. I found EIGHT 10 miles away. So thanks for being liars too.

Went out on a limb last month and decided to pay these guys a visit.. Initially I was going to go in to see what the process would be when an If I wanted to get a vehicle needless to say thanks to Sade an hour and a half later I walked out with a 2013 Mitsubishi outlander now goes by the name of Sasha2.0....Those guys are amazing!!!!!!
Appointment for oil change and state inspection was done while I waited. In addition, I requested a tire rotation but was advised that I did not need. Only had 5000 miles on new tires and they were in correct position for winter driving. Great to know service department does only work that is needed while looking out for customers best interests.
Johnna was very friendly and helpful. She kept me informed at every step of the way. The technician (Ryan Spiers) was spot on with his assessment and corrective action. The truck rides smoothly with no vibration or noise from the driveshaft. Thanks for a job well done.

Dont fall for the Oil change for life anywhere scam. When I bought my vehicle we asked and were told I could take it anywhere that was certified to work on the vehicles and has the sticker certifications displayed. Perfect for military personnel who can go anywhere in the country they said, its only for Virginia locations sadly.
I had a great experience with Priority Chevrolet. They were very efficient, timely, and courteous. The price for parts was ridiculous, but that’s what you get when you go to the dealer. My car was diagnosed as having an actuator solenoid valve gone bad. My appointment was for 7:30 and I had my car back before 11:00.I do want to mention that they had one female employee who just would not speak to me at all. All the other employees would come in the service room and say hi or have small talk but this lady would look me in my eye and not even crack a fake smile but she did speak to the other wonderful people that entered the room. How sad. Overall, great service.

Purchased a car from you guys 6 months ago and have since been in yalls service department 4 times with not minor issues.I feel that the Priority company is very dishonest and not that the customer comes first.The rental program through Enterprise was cancelled and most of what I was initially told about Priority has been false.I do not feel as if fair practice is ran here.
