This group bought the building I live in. Immediately evicted all the tenants. They dont answer our phone calls. No instructions on where to pay rent. Just a 60 day notice stuck on my door.

REFUSES TO WORK WITH THE STATE AND CITY OF ANAHEIM ON RENT ASSISTANCE. I AM A SENIOR 70 YEAR OLD WOMAN ON SOCIAL SECURITY AND HE REFUSES TO SIGN ON REBTAL ASSISTANCE

I am a tenant at one of the Saywitz properties in Newport Beach. I had signed a one-year lease and was now stuck in the middle of a lease but needed to relocate on quick notice. The Saywitz group was able to work with me not only to help find someone to take over my lease, but then terminate my existing lease and do a new lease with a replacement tenant. They were able to react quickly and fortunately for everyone with little downtime or exposure for me. The maintenance guys were great in touching up the paint and getting the carpets cleaned before the new tenant moved in so that we could coordinate a fast exit for me and a quick entry for the new tenant. Thank you so much to the property management folks and the maintenance guys at Saywitz. You guys are great and really made my relocation much easier than I anticipated.

We used Robert Ritschel to act as our Real Estate Broker in assisting us in relocating our corporate offices in San Diego, CA. He was able to find us a new location that no one else was ever able to locate. We had been looking for more than 6 months with no luck. Do not. I repeat DO NOT sign a rent/lease agreement with these crooks. I was pressured into an agreement by signing a deposit agreement and would not be shown the rental agreement nor given an exact monthly amount ahead of time - I foolishly put my trust on a lying person and pressured to agree to terms that were completely different from verbal agreement and or forfeit my deposit. Again, these people are crooks.

My apartment had roaches co.ing from the sockets the first day i moved in. I told them and they never sent pest control. The first time it rained the apartment wall and carpet got soaked. That revealed the mold. It was horrible.

This management company is inadequate at best. The properties they manage are borderline slum holes in which they have pest issues, which include cockroaches AND mice which could have been easily avoided had they taken the time and expense to contract pest control. I personally had a mold issue that was simply PAINTED OVER. They think because they slap new paint/ carpet on a place, that It is habitable. Although the maintenance is fast to respond, their expertise is about as good as those guys who stand in front of Home Depot and they are constantly told to cut costs. Expect overcharging at move out too. Worst experience and professionalism I have experienced with a management company. You are not a human to them. Just a check.

I have nothing but good things to say about Barry and his team. Whenever I have had a problem they were on top of it and everything has been resolved with ease.

Apartments are overpriced for sure.

I have been with Saywitz properties for almost 4 years, I started in Anaheim and then moved to Costa Mesa to a great place close to the beach . I have been working with Humberto, Who has been great to deal with and very helpful. I highly recommend Saywitz Properties.

Orange counties favorite slumlord.Worst place I ever rented from the slimiest of slumlords.If there is a slum for rent you can get in it here.Mine came with a petting zoo of cockroaches.

I inquired about rentals posted on their website several times, never recieved an answer.

Would not rent from them again if they had the last place in town to rent. Poor management and poor attitude towards tenants. Dont walk away run!

Barry is a sexy man himself, however there aren’t many other employees like him so I have to give a bad rating.
