I rented a vehicle on Saturday morning around 7 AM. When I got to the Avis location, Charles told me that he was very happy that we chose Avis, but sadly, they had no vehicles. By this time, all other rental options were closed for the day. Avis did not call us or try to notify us in any way so our trip was ruined because of Aviss poor customer care. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE, you will be disappointed. On top of all else, Charles wouldnt refund my payment. I had to call customer service and do it myself. Pathetic customer service.

TERRIBLE! I made a reservation for one of the cars the website showed me were available. When I got to the place I was told, quote, I saw your reservation and I appreciate your business but I have no cars. I wasnt even called even though I provided my phone number. When I asked how in the world I was allowed to pick a car he said I dont know even though hes the one who needs to update the system. Then I was told that I can go to a different location which cost me $80!!! because they dont offer any kind of shuttle or anything. From what I saw and heard, there was a couple at the same time who had exact issue and it was not their first time. I do NOT recommend. I rented cars before so many times but first time in this company and definitely last.

I would like to thank Charles for being the greatest part of my Avis experience. He was very professional, kind, and willing to help me out anyway he could. I have been renting for quite sometime and Charles would contact me if there was any deals or specials that would help save me money and I appreciate that. Lastly, every vehicle I was given was one of the newest models and they were all cleaned properly. Thank you Charles!!!

The serving manager was very nonchalant about my situation even though Avis had already accepted my reservation. The associate at the desk was very willing and helpful but was unable to help my needed and fill my request due to the unreasonable temperament of her manager, regardless of the fact that Avis of San Rafael had already ran my debit card which resulted in my bank placing a $300 dollar hold on my account.It was a very displeasureable experience and I will never use Avis of San Rafael again.

AVIS in Newnan, I will always frequent this place for a rental. I had to have repairs done on my car and I had to rent a car for almost three weeks. The agent was so patient, professional and friendly. When returning the rental on Wednesday, the traffic was awful, I called to tell him that I was on the way, he patiently waited until I got there even though it was after closing time. I will definitely rent from Avis in Newnan. Thank you for your service.

Quick, effortless and professional. Took less than 5 minutes to get the keys. It might be an out-of-the-ordinary location for an Avis, but has a moderate selection of cars. I ordered a midsized (Toyota Carolla)...ended up getting a Nissan Rogue. Who can complain about an upgrade at no extra cost?

Horrible!!! I have made reservations at least 7 times only to have Charles call me and tell me he doesn’t have anything after I paid $463.00 for my reservation if you don’t have any cars for that location please stop disappointing your customers with allowing them to book and feel they’re Secured and they’re not, I had a my moms bot well it’s Mother’s Day and I can’t get a car that’s how Inconvenience and disappointment I am at the moment👎👎👎👎👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

This was the FIRST time ever in my 55 years that was the SMOOTHEST, shortest, EASIEST time renting a car! It took less than 10 mins to get inside, get the paperwork, sign and walk out the door with keys. I was upgraded without question from a Ford Focus to a Hyundai Elantra. I wanted to get the best gas mileage possible to save on gas. I had NO problem getting excellent gas mileage with the Elantra. It got as good as gas mileage as the Ford Focus wouldve had. Tray was so very courteous, confident and even joked with me while finishing up the return paperwork. Returning the car was even faster and just as smooth as renting it was. Tray, you have a customer for life! Thank you and keep up the EXCELLENT work! YOU will be who I refer everyone to!!!**** NOTE FOR PPL RENTING THROUGH TMOBILE/RENTALCARS.COMTray told me that phone numbers dont transition from that sight to the Avis computers correctly. So if you do go through Tmobile/rentalcars.com PLEASE call Avis asap to make sure your reservation is set as he has NO way to contact u to let u know of any problems.

Awesome rental car shop in Newnan, GA. There is plenty of free and handicap parking. The employees are friendly and very helpful. There is a large amount of cars to choose from and the prices are reasonable. I enjoyed my car rental from this car rental company.

We rented a SUV for a trip to New York and Avis had the best rates by far. Their rates were what brought us to Avis, but after working with their staff, I will definitely rent from them again. They were super nice and easy to work with. We were late picking up due to getting caught in traffic and work schedules, but they stayed late and waited on us. Then when we returned the car, we had forgotten to fill it back up. Rather than hit us with their refueling fee, they gave us the opportunity to fill up and bring it back. They went the extra mile twice and did so with a smile. The SUV was the right size as we reserved, no issues, well maintained, ran great. I definitely recommend this Avis.

Do not waste your time and deal with this company. I booked through Expedia 9 days ago. I arrive today and was told they dont have any cars or Suburbans like I ordered. I asked why I wasnt called or emailed and was told they did not have my email or phone numbers because of privacy laws and me going through a third party. What a crock. The guy never even stood up.

Had a reservation for two vans that was made two weeks inadvace for a group of teenagers. Checked on the reservation twice every time was told it was fine. Went to leave no vans. Put our group in two small compact cars. We were told to bad nothing they could do. Really? So you lied did not provided what the reservation was requested for and put young lives at risk because its not my problem. Do not rent cars from here. Because oh well they do not care.

Extremely disappointed in your company and customer service today. We rented a Mustang two weeks ago to surprise my son for his Birthday. However our local independently owned Avis called us at 8:00 AM one hour before our schedule 9:00 AM pick up, to advise us they they do not have the car we rented and there was nothing they could do but I could call corporate.Ive spent 3 hours on the phone dealing with customer service and I still feel like as a company youve dropped the ball. We had planned on picking up our reserved paid in advance Mustang at 9:00 AM and were heading straight to Nashville for a soccer game. With limited time constraints we had to rent with Hertz with cost us 3x the amount and had to take what they had on the lot. We were told by your customer service rep. that we could drive to the Atlanta Airport and pick up a Camaro. However with already tight time constraints and trying to rent from the Atlanta airport is a good 1.5 hour ordeal. That was not an option for us because we were already 1.5 hour behind our schedule departure time.I do not understand why we were not given 24 hours notice so we had time to find another car or the the Newnan location didnt give us the option of the Camero last night. They could have had the alternate car sent to Newnan for us. We were advised by the Newnan Office they didnt receive the email that the car was unavailable until 8:00 AM. We had to scramble this morning trying to get a rental car!This is the second time that we have rented from Avis in Newnan and not had a car for us! Im not sure were the disconnect is between AVIS corporate and the Newnan location but this is unacceptable customer service and not how you run a business. After speaking with the GM of the Newnan location. The Newnan location did try and make it right by getting us a Camaro in Newnan but this was 11:00 AM and we had already left for Nashville.The customer service Ive experienced this morning is lacking in empathy and trying to make this situation right. Ive spent the last 3 hours on the phone trying to get refunds for our original rental and find a new rental. Ive been bounced from phone tree to phone tree and given the same spill each time with customer service reps that are reading from scripts! I felt that each agent was unconcerned and indifferent that we didnt have a car and that a refund of our rental should be enough compensation. Being in customer service for years our goal is to keep our loyal customers and go above and beyond to make it right. I feel your company as done the bare minimal to make this right and to retain our business. Im extremely frustrated with Avis for dropping the ball today!
