Went there for a fingerprint scan and I was in and out within 5 minutes, I signed in at the kiosk, sat down for 15 seconds before getting called in and had my scan and it was done and over with. Very quick and the ladies at the desk were kind
Very slow, one employee working and flustered with everyone and the many labs they need. Witnessing this from the waiting room where everyone who has appointments is getting serviced 40min to an 1hr later.Youd think in covid time a LAB of all places would upstaff not cut costs and keep one employeeAnd also had to edit my review because the ONE employee is not sanitizing between patients and wearing her mask under her nose. This is a place where people who may have covid walk through? I can hear other patients getting labs drawn with coughing fits in the back rooms. What an outrage..
Terrible experience. Lab lady stated it would take 15 mins. Over an hour sitting here, no text was received. Unprofessional and scattered. Wasn’t wearing mask over nose all of the way. COVID risk.
Sitting here with a packed waiting room during Covid. The staff couldn’t move any slower. Takes 15 min just to check a person in. Spend some money on staff that knows what they are doing and maybe you won’t put peoples lives at risk.
Whats the purpose of setting an appointment get there 15 mins before your appointment then still being there 35 mins after your appointment for blood work and i was the 2 person in the place going back to quest next time
My son was registered on labcorp.com for a antibody test and we had a appointment confirmation number. We were told when we arrived at the test site at Newington,CT, that his test isn’t ordered/ coming up in the system. It’s a bad experience and wanted an hour of my and my son’s time.Sorry but, Labcorp isn’t set up right to take in orders.
First impression is the young girl at the desk nasty attitude before I could even say good morning or ask a question. The older lady was very nice and helpful.
Absolutely disgusted. I went to the Newington location to test for an employee application. The girl at the desk told me their bathroom was out of service but I can go to the Norwich location as they took drug screens until 3. So I drove an hour to Norwich only to find out I was five minutes too late as they stop at 2:30. The girl at the front desk has zero empathy. Thanks LabCorp for wasting my time, gas, and patience. I would give a zero star review if I could. Now I have to call out of work next week to get this test without even knowing if your bathroom will be up and running. The least you couldve done was let me use the employee bathroom and stand there as I did it. Next time you have someone who is in a time crunch, care a little more as thats what youre paid for. Oh and dont lie saying this place or that place is open until such and such time. I drove across the state for nothing!
I am wondering if all the other reviewers are just cranky people. I just had my blood drawn, it was fast, easy and painless. Every person I encountered from checkin to the phlebotomist was helpful and friendly. I will use this office for all my bloodwork in the future. Great experience all around!
So much better than Quest. Went for preemployment drug screen and blood draw. fast and efficient and I did not even feel the needle. Had to wait ten minutes for drug screen because only one bathroom but I didn’t have an appointment so no big deal considering. Best lab I’ve been to.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say. I dont believe the bad reviews. I actually look forward to going to this new location. Newington is brand new, and super clean. All of the girls that work there are great at their job, overly friendly and skilled.Im thinking the negative people bring on the negativity everywhere they go.
Recently was my first time going to LabCorp for blood work. It was quick and easy. I had no problems at all.
Called the office and after what seemed like 10 rings, I could here when they picked up only to hang up on me. When I get there, the lady was rude and impatient with the gentleman in front me. After standing line for 10 minutes, I was up next and she simply walks away leaving me standing there for another 5 minutes. Once I finally checked in, the attendant who was helping me was also rude and was rushing. Overall, this company needs to retrain on customer service ASAP.
I had an excellent experience with the Newington Labcorp earlier today. Both the intake person and Plbotimisit were extremely welcoming, helpful, efficient. The service was timely and friendly. I recommend this location and facility.
Dont even bother making an appointment. They take people in the order they walked in. Appointments are a shame!

Inexperienced people taking blood. I have sore arms and bruises to prove it. Completely unprofessional employees at Lab Corp with no necessary or work related skills. Collecting a cup of urine exceeded there abilities.
The girl at the front desk was falling asleep and super rude, very poor customer service. The lab girl doesn’t even call you by your name to get you, simply says come on. Then when you initial and sign after your test, she doesn’t ask for name verification. She just shoves the papers in front of you, and seals the cup in the bad without me witnessing. Very poor experience.
They seem annoyed to have customers. I went in for simple blood work and they barely acknowledged that I was there and there was nobody waiting or being serviced and it took 15 minutes to get to me. Dont even try to make small talk. It just pisses them off. The nurse left the biggest nastiest bruise I have ever seen from a single venipuncture. I almost felt like she was trying to punish me. Next time I will drive to the Lab Corp in Waterbury rather than go to this office.
I had an unreal experience. It was horrible. It wasn’t bad enough they were taking all employment related patients over everyone (those waiting longer and those with appointments) they also swear at you and tell the waiting room your PHI. A man who walked in asked me how the wait was. I told him I was over an hour and I proceeded to tell him they are taking non appointments over everyone IF the are a work related drug screening test. So, this man then asked one of the phlebotomist how long he would have to wait and he must have heard our conversation because the phlebotomist rudely and HIPAA violation style said, “She’s waiting so long because she has a lot of orders from a bunch of doctors.” I was stunned and asked him his name he said “f&$k you and leave!” I couldn’t leave because they do testing no other place close by can do...sad and upsetting.For the record the female phlebotomist wasn’t any nicer at the beginning. After my confrontation with this vial human being she sweetened up. Probably because she knew I was going to report him.Horrible Horrible Horrible!
Dont make an appointment, they dont even care if you took the time to make one. I had made one online and got the confirmation email stating I had an appointment at 11am today. I arrived 10 minutes early, signed in and sat with the 5 other people in the waiting room. On the sign in list, I was the only one of the 5 other people that had an appointment. While the lady checked the list every time she called someone back, she never called my name and called all the 5 others before me. I didnt get called back for my testing until 11:30am, 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. After mentioning this to me, she laughed and started to complain to me about a Spanish couple in the waiting room and a phone call she was dealing with and how annoyed she was with the customer. Terrible experience, will not be returning to LabCorp...I always have a better experience at Quest.
This is a very busy office and the phlebotomists who run it do an excellent job. I’m a regular here and as a medical professional myself I’ve experienced the impatient, rude and entitled patients they deal with on a daily basis and I commend them for handling it so well. Healthcare is a thankless field these days and the abuse professionals take from people is appalling. The Newington phlebotomists are very professional and highly skilled in phlebotomy. The negative comments are mostly from confused people who think this office is part of the clinic next door. It’s unfortunate that people are able to leave such poor reviews just because they don’t understand privacy laws, how a business is run or because they happen to be in a bad mood at the time. LabCorp is awesome and the girls in Newington are the best. Keep up the good work, ladies.
