My son was throwing up a lot. We went to get him seen. They wouldn’t want to see him because we didn’t have the card on us. I expressed to them the card is on the file because he’s been seen at go health many times. They still denied care. I even stated to just bill me and I’ll handle it and they still said no. From the looks of the reviews at this place, many people give it a one star and complain. I will never go here again and continue to go to the original go health I go to. I think it’s sick to deny care for a child over insurance.

Online say walking for COVID-19 test I went walking twice and they told me that they not doing walking COVID 19 test have to be by appointment I called on the phone and they told me the same thing I think this people that work here don’t want to do COVID 19 test it’s a guy on the front Desk was really rudeThe owner of this place is losing money because the coworkers don’t want to do the job I win to Kathy’s urgent care every single day to do my COVID-19 test and they always did it We no problem . Agree with many of the reviews! Unsympathetic, rude, extremely unexperienced staff. No sense of urgency, no customer service skills, no people skills, lack of understanding and so on. Healthcare system is already f-d up but this is just beyond rediculous! What are they getting paid for? Why 4 plus hours of wait time and why not greet a human being like a normal human being. Stone cold women starring at you. Avoid this location and also I wish our health care system existed cuz I felt like I’m in 3rd world country. Stupidity is beyond me.

Front desk person is rude and unprofessional. Attitude and treating walk-ins like intruders before they even put their names in. Went to Urgent Clinic in Newington, right by Bertucci’s and was seen by kind professionals who actually care.

I had barely walk in and the PA was already suggesting me I go to an ER right away. She had no intension of treating me. I had a back injury after a car accident. My neck, shoulder and arm were in unbearable pain. I insisted on being treated. After taking my vitals she said there was nothing she could do for my pain and hand numbness. They sure billed the insurance right away even though nothing was done to help me

We we refused care since we didn’t have a mask. There was a sign on the door that said one would be provided if we didn’t have one. The “nurse” proceeded to take the sign off the door and told us we needed masks in order to receive care. And they weren’t nice or caring or heroic in their attitudes. We were refused medical care.

Went in with an injury this past weekend. The PA I saw had such an awful attitude. When I was in to much pain to do what she asked she become unpleasant. I never asked for any medication and in her notes said I requested pain meds which again I did not. Also they first words out of her mouth after putting me through a very painful examination were I wont give you narcotics. I would never even ask for that. I really just wanted to know what was wrong with my injury and I ended up being treated like some kind of junkie. I normally dont write reviews but this experience really upset me. I hope you dont treat all your patients like this. The front desk staff and the nurse that did my vitals were great. The PA was terrible.

Excellent service! Even though I had to wait for over an hour to be seen, as soon as I went in the staff was very friendly and helpful. They heard all my concerns about my health and the Dr. listened to me and took her time to explain things detail by detail. I’m coming here now on. Thanks so much!

Staff was friendly. For me being a walk-in I was seen soon after arriving. Doctor was attentive and addressed issue immediately.

The nurse aka receptionist has no clue what he is doing. I came in with my daughter to have her tested for covid. Appointment was made for 10am it is now 11am. I registered her online and when I went up to ask him if there was a problem he not only couldnt answer me but he told me she was being seen when in fact she was still sitting there in the waiting room. One of the other nurses came over to explain the issue that I asked him since he has no clue what he doing or what is even going on. I then over heard him telling thr other nurse he doesnt know how to put my daughter in the system. So an hour later you still have me sitting here with a sick child and possible covid

Everything was great went for COVID test. I called and the guy who answered phone was nice and polite answered my questions and explained what was going to happen. The staff here were so accommodating. There was a patient that came in that needed urgent care which understandably set our appointment back a bit. I needed to get a COVID test because I had to make sure I could attend my fathers funeral. The staff knew my situation and did everything in their power to make sure we were seen in a timely fashion. I will DEFINITELY be using this facility in the future.

They have time for you here. Even though there is a pandemic going on they will not try to get you out the door as soon as possible. They are also good at letting you in the door, that being, they will help you with scheduling and all. Ive found this clinic in Newington to be the best during this tough time.

After a prior hectic experience trying to get Covid tested, it was such a relief to go into a clean, calm & pleasant office for medical care. Everyone was nice & understanding. I didnt have to wait, I felt the communication via text was wonderful. And I was in & out in 15 minutes. Hoping I wont NEED to go back but will definitely keep this office in mind should I need further medical care.Rapid care is not currently offered at this location but I knew that going in. If you can wait the couple of days for results, it’s worth the care you receive in this office.

Everyone I encountered from the receptionist to the one that gave me the COVID test to the lady that explained information after was exceptional. They made the process so easy. Even though the wait was possibly long I still was out in under 2 hours which I was happy with.

The APRN was thorough and caring. The medical assistant was really great, especially at drawing my blood. There wasnt any bruising after. The faculty was super clean. I was able to make an appointment for about 1 hour after I called. I would definitely go back if the need arises!

Went in for a COVID test. Very fast. The staff was very professional and caring. Results in about 15-29 min.

Don’t go to this place. Their answering service is so frustrating it’s enough to throw your phone in the street. I waited on the line 15 min to just constantly be re-directed. “If you would like to speak to a representative stay on the line” I heard 10 times and stayed on the line to just hear the menu options again. If someone is sick and looking for information this place would make me more physically ill. Will NOT be going here for anything.

One of the best urgent cares I have ever been to. Clean, efficient and welcoming.

Went there today to be seeing for COVID-19 symptoms. Staff extremely rude, unfriendly, no customers skills whatsoever. Their online system is antiquated, it will ask you to sign in and give an estimated time that is not accurate. If you ask questions, they respond “it’s all written there on the paper”. The place was empty, employees were on their personal cellphone and laughing behind the counter. When you’re already sick and not feeling well, you go to a facility like this looking for help to feeling better and get treated with rudeness and like you are disturbing their time, it is just not acceptable. Will never comeback or recommend this place. Avoid.

Ive been to this urgent care twice for medical issues that were not an emergency, but couldnt wait, and my PCP couldnt get me in for an appointment. Im a RN and hold other medical professionals to the same high standards I hold myself to. Im very pleased with how organized, clean, and technologically advanced they are. Im especially very impressed with Sarah C the PA there. She is kind, thorough in her assessment, very knowledgeable, and a fabulous provider. I highly recommend this facility!

Tried to call this place to see if they had Covid tests available for my daughter who is ill, and their website says they don’t always have them available. Was just re-directed 100 times to the main menu. Does anyone actually work here??? Urgent care my a**. Was very disappointed as my phone call would have been a total of 1 min of their time.

I went in anxious and scared and was immediately put at ease by the kind staff. They gave me time to ask questions, never made me feel rushed, and brought my anxiety level down. I felt so happy knowing there are medical workers who follow through with complete knowledge, care and concern. I recommend to anyone who needs a friendly and competent walk in.

I liked that I was able to preregister online. The receptionist, medical assistant and the PA Randy were kind, courteous and professional, as well as efficient but I never felt rushed. The clinic was very clean and well organized. I highly recommend them, I will go again should the need arise.

Easy access to schedule and be able to have a walk in appointment. You were given an estimate time that you would be seen by a clinician. I was in and out in less than an hour. The convenience of location and hours much appreciated.

Great overall experience. Had to go in for a follow up on Christmas Day after the care plan established with the PA the day before ended up not going so well. The staff, and Jayme the PA were fantastic and in good spirits considering it was the Holiday. They took care of me quickly and were phenomenal. Great experience for an urgent care. I also love that I could check in on the way. I tried to stop at a closer Urgent Care on the way since we were traveling and it was a complete mess. They couldnt even give me an estimate for a wait time. So appreciative of the experience I had here.

This walk-in is the absolute best. Unfortunately Ive had a need to go there 3 times in a short period of time. Not only are they efficient and timely, they are very attentive. After 2 other doctors could not figure out what was wrong, this clinic actually took the time to take a swab and send it off to a lab. I was given the right medications and diagnoses. Excellent service, clean facility, and kind staff. If you ever need to go to a walk in clinic go here!

Very weird and sketchy energy...... I had twisted my ankle badly and the nurse practitioner was very unprofessional while assessing me, making inappropriate comments that had nothing to do with my situation, and it all felt very rushed as well, like they wanted to get me out of there as soon as possible, despite it being empty. I never even got discharge papers! It may have been a bad day for them, but honestly I would rather go to the emergency room or another urgent care with higher ratings and a good quality staff!!

I was able to walk in and be attended too. They were friendly and great staff. The PA was great as well and answered all my questions.

They never answer the phone. I make appointments and they get lost !!!!!! And you cant make appointments in advance . Only 2 days in advance !!!!!!!!!!

I highly recommend this urgent care to all my friends and family. From the minute I walked in there was no wait time. The staff and the DR. Made me feel really comfortable. Walking in there I wasn’t sure how I felt or was unsure on how they were going to treat me or make me feel. I don’t feel comfortable sharing personal information with people I do not know, however they they made me feel comfortable and I would definitely go back. I am 7 months pregnant and sick with the flu. The APRN took excellent care of me and was kind and compassionate. She gave me all of the information I needed as well as a prescription for Tamiflu. The medical staff were all very kind and friendly, even to my children who had to accompany me. So glad I went here!

I love this place. Everyone is very friendly and professional but down to earth at the same time. I HIGHLY recommend going here. Not only are they adult friendly, but they make the kids feel at ease as well. Ill go back (the newington location) for anything that doesnt require emergency room care. Love love love them!

I ask what Im signing. She pulls out a page full of narrow spaced font about all the things I am agreeing to when signing that are NOT about treatment.There is NOT a single thing the front desk did correctly, effectively, efficiently, or with ANY thought of an ill patient.PLEASE CHANGE THIS PROCESS!

Offer coffee or water while you wait, but the waiting time is not very long.....I would recommend!

I visit this place yesterday due to an injury i had on my shoulder. The 2 ladies that work here are great when they approach me. Even though they werent able to help me cause i had a dislocated collar bone, they did guide me to the right place near by hospital to assist me. They gave me options and willing to help but they only can take x-ray. I recommend this place as the 2 ladies were kind and helpful.

The staff she was a welcoming presence & very personable. My Provider has an impeccable bedside manner, genuinely listened and accommodated my needs with his wonderful abundance of knowledge. I wish he could be my PCP, I’ll return next time I’m in need of medical care undoubtedly.

Going to the er might get you in sooner. Waited almost 2 hrs. I asked if they were short on staff and the MA told me no. There were TWO people working!!!! On top of that they have to sign people in and do all the paper work. Shouldnt there be a receptionist for that?Prob will go elsewhere from now on. Prepare to wait for a LONG LONG time.

Checking in online is quick and easy. The treatment and referral is effective. They called a few days later to find out how I am. This extra step makes me feel cared.

YOU ARE A BUNCH OF BLOODY CROOKS. I CONTINUE TO GET BILLS FO THE $120 THAT I PAID YOU. DESPITE PROVIDING PROOF REPEATEDLY THAT IT WAS CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD. DONT EVER, EVER, EVER, USE THIS FACILITY. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND CONTINUE TO SEND YOU BILLS.Can I give 0 stars? The medical treatment for a potential strep throat was fine. But the staff was completely disorganized and couldnt even work the computer intake system. They didnt take my insurance and I paid out of pocket. However I have been getting bills ever since because the billing office has no record of the credit card payment. I have emailed proof of the transaction from my credit card statement and STILL get bills.

Had very good experience, so glad we have such a nice Urgent Care in our location! The nurse was great, prescribed me medicine that helped to fight my flu, already feeling better. Overall had an excellent experience compering to my experience in the past with different Urgent Care pkaces. I highly recommend the Newington location. Really nice stuff and a beautiful modern facility.

Strike TWO! First in November my daughter was seen by a “young” nurse who laughed off my daughter and misdiagnosed her. 2 My son-in-law walked into an empty waiting room and was told it would be a two hour wait

I was pretty much on my deathbed when I dragged my sad, sorry butt in here with a massive sinus infection. I waited less than 10 minutes in a bright, clean waiting room with complimentary hot tea. The provider was so kind and so professional, I literally cried tears of relief as she submitted my antibiotic prescription to the pharmacy. I am so grateful this place exists. Newington has more urgent care centers than Starbucks (and we have a LOT of those too) but I chose this one based on it being part of Hartford Healthcare, which has always been good to me in the past. As far as pricing goes, no co-pay was due at the time of service but they charged my insurance company $400, of which Ill probably have to pay about half out of pocket. Worth every penny!

Visiting a friend in the area from Germany and I was in need to see a Doctor concerning a medical issue. Instead, the clinic informs me there are no doctors, only PAs. I am not sure but that is some type of assistant? I am confused, I thought this was a Medical Clinic? Needless to say I left this clinic confused. Whats next, the janitor will see me?No idea where American healthcare is going, but there is no way anything less than a Doctor should see a patient. Good luck American Healthcare!

The staff was incredibly helpful! They assisted me into the office, helped get my prescriptions and even got me into the physical therapist next door.
