They dont answer calls and my case worker has been negligent to my case and quick to deny benefits. I need to reach a supervisor now! Why treat people like this especially in a pandemic!

Due to Covid still unable to just enter building. Waited 5 minutes for some1 to answer door

They are unprofessional and organize very disrespectful and they always make excuses for why your documentations are not in or not mailed out and are not answered correctly they wait to everything shut off to hurry up and do everything which is not fair for us who are trying to work every single day and keep taking days off of work to go handle their documentation that they already mailed out or spoke to someone in person and waited there for hours to get everything handled to receive a letter at home that there’s a disconnection and they’re cutting your food stamps off and everything your child care and everything and you got to start all over or because of a miscommunication and because people work at social services don’t even want to do their job they just sit there and get paid and try to make us people that are asking out for help look bad but if that was then and there was a deposition I’m sure they would understand how we feel especially single mothers like me well for kids that go to school and work and still get help with assistance and they find every reason or way to not help you and make your life harder.

Its very difficult to talk to the social workers. I feel as if they look down on you as soon as you walk in there. Im coming from somebody who needs the extra help they give you such a hard time to get it. But not everybody is that way There are a few people in there who are very kind and generous. But I certainly dont appreciate the people who look down their news aint you. There are some of us who are just not so fortunate in life.

They are very friendly and quite helpful with the clients that come in with various needs of assistance from their workers.

Unusual entrance

It took me forever to get approved for child care. The social worker very nice though. However I felt like they were doing the impossible for me to get approved and I needed to work ASAP. They never answer the dam phone.

Delaware Health and Social Services building! The people who deal with food stamps and health insurance are much friendlier and more helpful at this location than they are at the Hudson Center! Unfortunately you dont get to pick where go...its all based on your address!

The lady at the front desk here was so rude I asked her to update my info to my case but she was so rude about it. It’s been about 2 weeks and she never out the info in. Always rude here.

This has got to be the worst building to go to when u are in need of help. The people here are very rude especially that little asian twit behind the front desk. The general public doesnt come here with attitudes they are provoked by the idiot people that work there.
