This was an absolutely Great experience from start to finish! We are extremely happy with the new bathtub, it looks so beautiful and has all the features that we wanted. Our installer Bryce was great, he explained everything to us, he worked very efficiently, took extra care not to track anything into the house, and had great customer service skills. Bryce answered my many questions, reviewed each step with us, and went over everything at the end. It was great that he was able to complete all of the work in just one day and he cleaned up everything on his way out. He made us feel like valued customers and he did quality work. He made my mothers whole year with this gorgeous, and much needed bathroom upgrade. Would highly recommend them! Thank you Bath Fitters

I had read many horror stories about bathroom remodels so I was a bit apprehensive when finally starting my project (tub to shower conversion). I had visits from 4 different remodel firms and Bath Fitter stood out. 1. The Sales Rep (Stacy) was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and did not put on a hard sell. 2. Pricing was very competitive (20% below next lowest quote). 3. Only 10% down was required on order with the balance after install. Most other firms required a larger initial down payment or second payment prior to material delivery.I placed order in late December and installation was scheduled in early February. The day of install I did receive a call saying the installers prior job was not finished so they had to reschedule. Fortunately, they were able to reschedule for next day so not a big inconvenience. The installation itself took 2 days. First day was demolition of existing tub/shower surround, getting walls and plumbing prepped and installation of shower floor pan. Second day was installation of wall surround, plumbing fixtures and shower door.My project required a window kit and a separate piece to cover a ceiling section that jutted down a foot or so from main ceiling . The wall surround extended from floor to crown molding. I always hated having exposed dry wall above prior surround so took the opportunity with this remodel to have bath fitter rectify that.The entire experience has been a very pleasant one. From order to install, everyone on the bath fitter team was professional and easy to deal with.After having existing shower for 25 years it was time for a refresh and I am glad I went ahead with the project. Happy with look and quality of product.The one thing the other remodel firms had over bath fitter was larger variety of colors and styles. I am pretty sure that sticking with fewer options allows bath fitter to enjoy larger economies of scale which translates into better pricing. In the end I decided to stick with a more classic design and color rather than shell out another $2K to someone else.One tip. When you are planning your visits, I would recommend talking to bath fitter last. They offer a same day discount if you order when they visit. I had several other visits lined up after them so I declined. In retrospect I could have saved another 5% if I took them up on their offer.Would highly recommend bath fitter.

Bath Fitters lifetime warranty is NOT as advertised in its sales literature or on its trucks. One should not believe the following statement found on Bath Fitters current website: Lifetime warranty. Every Bath Fitter Installation is guaranteed for life, so you can be confident in your bath remodel. According to Alice (Newark, CA Bath Fitter Branch Manager), the published lifetime warranty only applies to the product; the WARRANTY ON LABOR IS ONE YEAR (not lifetime).I was a happy Bath Fitter customer until I noticed a six-inch crack in my Bath Fitter purchased nine years earlier and I spoke with Enrique at Bath Fitters Newark, California location. Enrique advised me the liner would be covered under the lifetime warranty, but the installation would cost me $517. He further stated that he would not order the replacement liner unless I agreed to pay the $517; under duress, I agreed to pay that amount. William (Newark Bath Fitters professional installer) replaced the liner at my home and we agreed that I was utilizing a Bath Fitter recommended cleaning solution in effect at the time of purchase and at the present time (Bath Fitter Cleaner Product List updated November 2020) and there was no evidence of any misuse or negligence in maintenance. Dozens of other customers have complained about Bath Fitters misleading published lifetime warranty on consumeraffairs.com. An official Bath Fitter response to another customers lifetime warranty complaint was that the reinstallation charge was merely a service fee.Ultimately, Alice agreed to offer a $517 deduction on a future project; but refused to issue a refund without a new bathroom order. This was unacceptable to me.

Bryce was a complete pro and extremely professional during my installation. He is a really good communicator and a complete master of his craft. I felt like I was getting just enough information throughout the process without being overloaded. Will be calling Bathfitter for my second bathroom in the near future!

I would just like to say a few words about Stacy OFarrell She was at my home last week and was so delightful --- she was very informable and helped me with my situation ----- She is an asset to Bath Fitters and should be cloned --- It is a joy to meet someone that is so helpful and courteous

This process,took 11 months,and i hope its over. Tub replacement was ordered and came in damaged. 3 more weeks and they brought out the wrong one. Got the right one and finished the process at 10 PM. The window was crooked looking because the trim was cut wrong. 3 tries before they fixed it. I was told it was my house or the window because they are old. Somebody finally figured out on their third call that the trim had been cut wrong so they pulled out the wrong trim, cut it right and now its fine. Then when the tub was used for a bath, water went through the overfill and down through the ceiling into the hall below. So the ceiling was ruined. When I finally got someone out to see,what was wrong, he showed me the seal that should have been put between the tub and drain pipe and how it should have been caulked. That was taken care of and then several days later after more phone calls, someone came out to fix the ceiling. 2 trips took care of that. I hope we are done after 11 months of fighting with them.

Everything is wonderful! There were issues - it took 2 days the first time and then Charlie found out that the wrong door had been shipped. Cathy expedited the order of another door and 2 weeks later it was delivered. However, when Charlie went to install it he found that there was a hole in the metal frame! At least we could use the shower though. Finally the door arrived and Charlie did a great job of finishing the installation. Were so happy with it!

Their website clearly states that they are open on Saturday until 4pm. We drove from Lafayette and arrived just after noon. They are closed! The whole complex completely deserted! What a waste of a day and a lot of gas!

Great work by Tony, good product, easy choice,but a little pricey.

Just called to have them come out and give and estimate and they wouldnt do it unless my husband was going to be there too. Unbelievable! We have remodeled the rest of my house and it I was never treated anything like that by any other contractors.
