VERY unhappy... asked for basically just a trim of my A-line bob with a little shorter of the layers. Said specifically DO NOT RAZOR, TEXTURIZE OR THIN my hair. Thought she knew what she was doing, closed my eyes for a sec and the next thing I hear shes doing just that to the back!!! It looks horrible!!! She said she thought it looked better! Not me! and one side is COMPLETELY chopped compared to the next! I should have just given my 5 yr nephew a pair of scissors and said have it!!

Did a good job. Told her we wanted a fade with a flat top. And she asked what number. No one ever asked that before. Crazy. She cut it it wasnt a flat top. But it was a nice cut.

Just took my 5 year old son here. I didn’t notice until i got home how bad the “edge up” was. I don’t really know what else to say besides we’re going to be fixing this for hours later. Uneven, choppy, not straight at all. I’m just beside myself. I could have done better and I’ve never done hair before. I am probably going to call and get my money back.

Hadnt had cut in a while. Stylist did an awesome job.

I have never had an issue at this salon. My hair has always been done the way I wanted it, all the stylists know what they are doing. I even had a stylist Tammy who was kind enough to do a coloring redo on my hair that another salon had done wrong and she did it exactly the way I wanted it.

Only good thing is they got us in the same day.Hairdresser seemed to rush through.

Very impressed with my experience today. Took myself, six year old son and my 77 yr old father in for cuts today and the three ladies that helped take care of us did an exceptionally good job. We will definitely be back!

So been here plenty of times great place nice people that do a good job. But I do have to this last lady that cut my hair today was either having a bad day or shouldnt cut hair. Went in for a fade an I dont even think she knows how to I have lines not faded in nice but like a step an I said something twice an fixed one thing but still couldnt fade it in acted as if she couldnt. So I will no longer go there an allow her to cut my hair an if thats how she always is an cuts she shouldnt be there...

Great place for a quick haircut or trim for guys. As a woman, if you want a new specific style this is not the place to go. But if you just need a trim they do a great job.

Appointment are welcomed, but can also walk-in. First come first served. Handicap excess able. All types of hair cuts, perms, coloring, any style. Unisex.

Easy to get a haircut without waiting too long.

Ask for a tight fade and edge up, you get a light trim and no edge up. Ask for your other son to receive a better, tighter haircut then the first son, you get ray Charles behind the clippers. Never again will I bring my children to the hairzoo in Newark. I left a tip, but shouldve lashed out at the barber. Lucky for her, Im not that kind of person. Management needs to clean house and actually pay attention to who they hire. Disgraceful.

It has become a very expense place to get a haircut and shampoo. Limited in knowledge of how to cut many styles of cuts.

Last time I was there I asked for a trim and long layers, well I got blunt cut long layers, she didn’t even blend my layers at all!!! I couldn’t tell at the moment because my hair was wet. I’ve never seen this girl before and it seems like there’s someone new every time I go.... I didn’t bother going back to have it fixed bc I was afraid of having my hair cut shorter just to try and fix it 🙄. I will be going elsewhere and I don’t recommend this place at all, they need more experienced people.

Usually listen to customers, prices could be a little more negotiable. If they get it wrong they will make it right! Even if it is a discounted haircut the next visit!

Forgot there was a reason I stopped going to this location. Ordered the same style haircut I get at SuperCuts and a different HairZoo location and this location did a mush worse job.

Lauren is great. But dont use her. I dont want her booked up all the time.

Where did the people that work here get there licenses to cut hair??? A cracker-jack box?? I was giving them a 2nd chance after the 1st time my son looked like he got his haircut with a lawnmower and am upset to say this was just as bad of an experience! How is a salon full of hairdressers not skilled in giving young boys a simple fade haircut??!!? My son clearly had a ring around his head where it was supposed to be faded up...ended up shorter in the front and longer in the back! I asked the girl to square it up in the back where there was still hair long enough I could grab and she had another girl attempting to help her. I then took him to another salon to get it fixed later that day. The woman that cut my other sons hair barely cut it...his hair ended up higher around one ear and lower on the other and it was not even at the back of his head either. PARENTS BEWARE...DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My son went therefore haircut but came out whats something completely different than what he shown her how he wanted.

Walked in apparently didnt hear greeting, heard a or not and a scoff from one of the stylists. Almost turned around and walked out. Could highly benefit from customer service training considering its 99% of your job. I now know why people no longer go here. Would give 0 stars if an option.
