Today Newark Redwood said goodbye to Jessica A., our Property Manager, as she embarks on new challenges. From the minute we toured the property in 2019, Jessica put our minds at ease about moving back to Ohio from Wisconsin. She was always available to answer our questions and worked with us and our moving company on getting a move in date. I remember Jessica saying they had the perfect unit for us, she was right, we love our location and our home. Now after 2 years we have settled in, met our neighbors and this feels like home, thanks to Jessica .

Overly priced for what you get, walls are thin and can hear neighbors and anything else that is going on outside, no parking space for visitors, the walls stain super easily and cannot clean and they’re suggestion is “you can always ask for a small bucket of paint” as if I should have to re-paint the walls just to keep them clean. The wooden floors stay dirty no matter how often you clean same with how often you dust, it just gets dusty the next day. The winters are awful with how bad plowing is, had 4 wheel drive and still slid around the neighborhood, the shoveling of the walkways/sidewalks isn’t consistent either. They say pet friendly but the chemicals the company they use on the grass is not pet friendly, they have to send out an email to tell us to wipe our dogs feet and to not let them eat the grass, the grass that looks awful and the trees that are mostly dead. I’ve paid less for better, this place is noticeably cheap.

They have been great to work with, at every level of service! But more importantly the community is really nice, quiet, friendly and diverse. The rental units are spacious, updated, and have thoughtful floor plans. We really like it here.

My wife and I lived in the complex for almost 3 years with our Australian Shepherd. There is a great mix of neighbors that became friends over the years. The onsite management was thoughtful & caring of our needs, though they did not have any latitude to make changes or improvements. We were fortunate to move into a brand new unit and was disappointed that the regional/corporate folks didnt take the time or money to maintain the property. With that, it is still the nicest community in the area.

My husband and I (and our 2 dogs) have lived here for over a year now and we love it! If you are looking for somewhere to rent in the Newark/Granville area, it is the only place Id recommend! Management is extremely responsive and helpful. Jessica made our move in process effortless on our part and was super accommodating with getting us moved in quickly. Recently our garage door had an issue and it was fixed well within 24 hours of us notifying them. We also enjoy the monthly resident events that Jessica puts together, it gives us an opportunity to meet our neighbors. Overall, we are completely satisfied with our experience living at Redwood in Newark.

I have lived in 3 different complexes in my 4 years in the Columbus area and The Redwood community is by far the best one. It does not feel like an apartment, but a house without the upkeep. I wish there was a similar complex where I am moving to next.

We have been here a week and so anything that has been asked to get looked at or fixed has been taken care rapidly. Often on the same day. The manager and all of the maintance crew have been very friendly and most professional.

Maintenance came right away and did the repair. Very friendly

Nice place to live but did not want to work with me on $2600 termination fee. Management attempted to say it was protected by the Fed Fair Housing Act, however, the Ohio Housing Agency said those fees are not protected. Even with this proof Redwood would not budge. Her quote to me was if that is true then I do not want to know that. Sad! I was not asking for free I was asking for a reduced charge from $2600 to $1600. Typical Corporate Greed at its best with this Leasing Agency.

Searching for an apartment after owning a home for so long is stressful!When I walked in to view their homes I was immediately blown away. The staff was more than helpful and calmed my nerves about renting! Their product is beyond my expectations and as soon as my house sells I will be back to become apart of their community:)I recommend these homes to anyone looking in this area or anyone looking to rent where they have other locations!
