Terrible service. I wish I had seen these reviews. I chose them instead of my normal service because I had a microcasette instead of a file to upload and wanted to drop it off myself. I should have known from the moment I walked into the office that this was not the place to use. The receptionist didnt have any formal order sheet and put my information down on a random piece of paper. I had to ask her several questions about when it would be ready and how much it would cost. I was told it would be ready by Friday and any earlier service would cost an additional .50 per minute. It was Monday afternoon and so I said Friday was fine. Thursday comes and no call about the status. I call and leave a message which no one returns. I phone again on Friday and was told that it was not done and I need to call Monday afternoon. No apology, no call on their part. When I asked why, she said there was a heat wave so people didnt come in. I told them I expected some sort of discount. She said fine. It was a ridiculous and unprofessional exchange. Why am I calling you on Monday? You should call me. I call on Monday and they said there was a mix up about how long it was so I would have to pick it up on Tuesday morning. I get there and they still have me waiting. They couldnt find my cassette, asked me how I wanted to document. I had to give them my information again. Total nightmare. And then I get charged some random amount which I am certain was too much given how long the tape was and certainly did not include a discount despite what the lady said. I received no breakdown of the charges, no apology for the lateness and she even had the gall to say the quality of the tape was poor. Microcassettes are problematic but the transcription itself was lazy and incomplete. I had to go over it with a fine tooth comb and found so many errors and a whole portion of the tape missing from the transcription, it was like doing it myself. And all of that wasnt even everything I experienced. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! Any positive reviews here must be fake.

This company is unprofessional, disorganized and dishonest. I worked for them as a transcriptionist on a small job and they indicated in writing they would send a check on a particular date two weeks later. Three weeks after that I called and they said they didnt receive my transcripts?! Then they said they did receive them but there was a discrepancy. They were unable to elaborate on this mystery discrepancy. I counted each line and there was no discrepancy. Then Etta told me she mailed my check and I never received it. I cannot believe how easily she lies right to my face. That indicates its something she does a lot. She has lied to me over and over and over again. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Next stop, small claims court. As a transcriptionist for over 20 years, I have never experienced this type of unprofessionalism and am still waiting for my check. Most of these reviews appear to be posted by employees of the company, including one signed by Etta herself, the owner. Hows that for integrity? Buyer beware.
