Great if youre a rube who wants to part with your money...Dealt with two of the most unprofessional people Ive encountered ever. They want you to sign on the dotted line-- but when it comes time to deliver anything that was promised is not there. I wasnt burned but I could have been easily.Remember that unless its contained in the 4 corners of the contract-- it didnt happen. So, when they say something is renovated, it might-- it might not-- unless its in the contract that you sign its not official. If youre presented with a two year lease-- dont sign until they correct it to the terms you want.If youre not able to actually see the unit in person RUN! These are just some of the antics. Your best bet is to ensure that YOU walk the neighborhoods, look up the properties and visit their leasing offices in person without representation. No middlemen no back and forth and you always know where you stand. These guys Joseph and Matt are just pawns in the game of the managers who must run this place. Bottom line is that integrity is doing the right thing-- even when no one is watching. This company Doesnt do the right thing whether people are watching or not. Save time and save money go to look at apartments on your own time on your own two feet-- and avoid this place and people! Youll fair better!

This review is for John K., who was absolutely FANTASTIC. We are three young women who were searching for our first post-graduate apartment -- NO FEE (which we specifically requested) and hoping for Midtown. John was so wonderful... He was very upfront with us about our options, listened to everything we wanted, and was vigilant in advocating for us to the different apartment complexes.It was such a pleasure working with him and we ended up finding a great apartment in Midtown West with laundry, a rooftop deck, and gym included. Cannot say ENOUGH great things -- as a young woman moving to NYC for the first time & hoping to find something safe AND affordable, I cant say how grateful I am to have worked with John. You will not be disappointed in working with him.

AVOID THIS BROKERAGE AND THEIR SCUMMY BROKERS!!! Leonardo Mora tried to sue me in small claims court because he felt entitled to a fee for an apartment he did not show. The trial lasted a total of 2 minutes and at some point the judge even seemed amused at how silly the lawsuit was. Save yourself the trouble and use a different brokerage!!!Long story short, I used 2 brokers to see 2 different sets of no-fee rental apartments. Leo showed me some, and also walked me into the lobby of a building, but the doorman said it was busy so we left. Couple weeks later later I visited that same building with another broker who signed me into the leasing office and showed me apartments. After I took that apartment, the second broker who did the work was paid (of course), not Leo. When Leo found out, he sued me for $5000 in lost commissions. Note that Leo literally did not 1) show me anything in that building, 2) send me anything about that building, or 3) even speak to me about that building. Also, there was no fee agreement between us (since all apartments were no-fee) nor any kind of exclusivity. Basically he wanted $5000 for walking me into a lobby and saying hi to the doorman.Needless to say, the judge ruled in my favor. What a huge waste of time for everyone involved. I would advise anyone from doing business with this brokerage firm, and Leo in particular. For anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation, get some free legal help, especially from the Monday Night Law Clinic -- I got some really solid advice from the lawyers there. If youre patient enough, it might be worth asking for the judge instead of an arbitrator.P.S. For those of you at Bouklis Group, you really ought to teach Leo how to use spellcheck because his emails are horrendous.

I worked with Matthew Rodrigues. After dealing with many different individuals and seeing many different places I can say with much confidence that Matthew was the best to work with. He didnt waste my time showing me places I wasnt interested in. Everything he showed me was quick, thorough, and exactly what I was looking for both in terms of space and budget. Additionally, he was constantly available to answer questions and met me to check out another location on extremely short notice. Matthew was extremely helpful and I was very happy with him and the apartment he helped me find. I would without a doubt work with him again in the future.

We worked with Matthew Rodriquez. He was very helpful in finding our first apartment in NYC! Due to our busy work schedules we primarily had to go look at apartments during our lunch break. Matt was always willing to accommodate, even if we only had 30mins each day. He seemed knowledgeable in the area and improved the listing we saw based on our feedback about past showings. Would definitely recommend!

This people are very unprofessional, sales agent Justin Rice didn’t answer the phone or replied to my text messages anymore since he heard I have an accent. He spend days texting, reminding me to attend the open house . The first time we talked on the phone was when I was on my way to the open house, when I was outside the building he didn’t even answer my calls or text messages . I waited for 30 minutes until a gentleman leaving the building asked me if I was there for the open house and instructed me how to get inside the building, once there I realized the unit didn’t even exist, as least the one Mr. Rice kept promoting didn’t exist . The eagerness ended when he heard my voice/accent, next time I will make sure to handle everything by phone

Anna and Lazlo were incredibly helpful, dedicated, organized, and knowledgeable. We had an incredibly difficult time finding an apartment with many different realtors before finding them, but from that moment on it was a breeze. They made an usually stressful process easy and enjoyable- from answering emails quickly (even late at night), negotiating with the property owners, and checking up with us every step of the way. We are so happy in our new apartment and it is thanks to them.

Horrible,Had interaction with A Tony Lahu, who is an associate for this company. He was poor, trying to represent an apartment for Naked Apartments and couldn’t help me at all. Actually was extremely rude and non-helpful, this is a perfect example of horrible sales. I will not and would not recommend anyone to do business with this company. I will also report to naked apartments so they can remove this guy form there list as a representative.

If I can give negative stars I would! This broker company and its brokers and salespersons are absolutely a fraud! DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITH THEM! DO NOT CONTACT THEM AT ALL!The salesperson who texted me floorplans of apartments filed a frivolous claim against me in small claims court for broker fee that I do not owe! Good thing is justice is on the right side and of course the court found in favor of me. However, the whole process they drag you through is simply ridiculous.Basically my roommate and I found Bouklis Group via craigslist and saw three buildings downtown with Allen Rey from Bouklis Group. Since he was not able to grasp what my roommate and I were looking for and unable to respond to our request of emailing us a list of potential apartments, we went with another broker to see a totally different building and signed our current apartment (Allen Rey has never shown us our current building!). Next thing I knew, out of blue I received court notice from small claims that Bourklis Group is suing me for $4995 (How ironic since highest amount you can sue for in small claims is $5000). No attempt from Bourklis Group to contact me regarding any fee, and when I tried to contact them they never pick up their phone calls. When I texted Allen Rey the only response I received was to settle.When we appeared in court, the argument that Allen Rey made was that since he texted me floorplans of our current apartment building (NOTE: NOT EVEN FLOORPLANS OF OUR CURRENT APT), he showed me the apartment and therefore I owe him broker fee for the service! It was a waste of the courts time to have to hear this kind of case, it is totally against the interest of justice to allow broker companies to provide absolutely no base and bring lawsuits against their previous potential clients.Anyone who have dealed with brokers know how ridiculous this is! We all encounter difficulties at work, clients that just dont click with us, or clients who we have worked hard for that dont appreciate. However, it should not become grounds for frivolous lawsuits against your clients, you cant blame such difficulties in your job solely on your clients and sue for clients for not retaining you. When I was at the court, there were two other defendant who were sued by Bouklis Group for similar type of baseless allegations. Clearly I was not the lucky one. IT IS THEIR PRACTICE TO SUE POTENTIAL CLIENTS AND TRY TO CHEAT YOU INTO SETTLING!Even though we all won our cases in small claims, I feel that its very important for people out there looking for brokers to know that, DO NOT SIGN THE DISCLOSURE FORM WITH THIS COMPANY! TRY NOT TO CONTACT THEM AT ALL! They will try to sue you for a text message they sent you!

This one broker I worked with was not helpful at all. He was actually lazy and they dont have many options for people. I did not receive a copy of the agreement I signed and they dont want to give you one FYI. Dont work with these people. They only cause headaches and they arent helpful at all.
