This store is more than a dollar store. Some items, such as food and household items are name brand and only a dollar. Shoppers have to beware because they might end up buying more items than they intended to. Even though its always busy and somewhat crowded its worth shopping here. I would highly recommend this store to others.
I cant believe how empty the shelves were. I ended up spending $60 dollars but the one thing that I wanted they didnt have! I will share a secret with you its Awesome! Thats the name of this MIRACLE Cleaner! For $1dollar this liquid Cleaner makes my Dirty white industrial tiles white.... anyway trust me when I say no fuss no scrubbing just spray on and let sit drink your coffee and see what happens! Its Awesome 👌👏😎🙌😀
If you can find what you want youll get a good deal. If you must go go earlier in the day not later. The shelves are usually bare or unorganized and unkempt later in the day. The flip side of that is if you go too early a lot of things are piled in boxes throughout the store and you cant find what you actually need. The only silver lining to that situation is that the staff is very helpful in helping you to locate the items you want. At least that has been my experience. I would definitely return but now I know earlier than later a special for the frozen food items.
This store was call deals once upon a time and they always kept the store stock now its never stock up the floor always has the u- boats on the floor un pack with food sometimes dont know how long its been sitting there the reason not enough employees I guess the number one rule in good retail never have more than 3 people waiting on line this store always has more than 10 people waiting for a long time you have a good location so stock up get good management .and one year later the worst pics to show 😡😡really how are we suppose to shop around this hire people already !!! 2018 October isles are clean shelves are pack but look at this line 🤬🤬🤬 2019 This store needs 24 hour management it’s horrible it’s back to having merchandise all over the place and the lines just make you walk back out !!! Today pics March 31 2019 they need to change overnight will be the best thing here never by food from here these were out all night !!! As of 1 month it has been close !!!
Its decent it what I want at times and the workers are professional and helpful
I rated a 10 or 5 Star. Why? Where else can you get great prices for great merchandise. Its an asset to the community, thank you Dollar Tree.👍🥰 We Need you and Love you .
This is the worst Dollar Tree I have ever been to. They block the first three aisles with boxes they never take out. So you have to move palettes around just to get what you need from the shelves. This is all the time. If not then the shelves are empty. Then the cashier was very busy on her phone, and left half of my items on the counter and didnt bag them. I had to bag them myself. If you arent paying attention you they literally leave your items out the bag. This is a horrible store.
Why is that you are following. I went to Fine Fair at 96, you followed, now the dollar tree is this is what 5G is all about getting into peoples business.
Horrible!!!! Staff: very unprofessional. I can tell you who is sleeping with who and who have beef. They talk freely as if it’s a sports bar. They don’t want to help, have very bad attitudes and management (Kamar) is just as bad. Merchandise: NEVER STOCKED!!! U boats line the isle with boxes that have not been faced on the shelve. Honestly it has to be a hazard. I would love it if the staff actually cared
This is the worse location by far that Ive been to. The aisles are always jampacked with boxes making it impossible to go through, let alone finding the items that you are trying to get. Always so annoyed upon leaving this store. They need to be better than that. Its deplorable. I give it 1 star because I was able to find what I needed after hurdling over boxes.
Its a great spot to shop wisely if on a budget but you cant get all you need there. Just basic stuff you can get for a dollar
In true dollar tree nature it was a little messy and there was a whole isle blocked off with unpacked merchandise, but I was able to score a few really nice finds in the seasonal and crafting sections. So overall I was happy with my visit
Shelves always empty but aisles are always full. If your into shopping to open boxes and look what you need place is perfect for you.
First and last time I’ll be going to that Dollar Tree! First off the shelves were bare and the store looks abandoned. When I walked in I thought that location was out of business cuz of how it looked. Employees were nasty and weren’t friendly at all. Poor experience in that store, I know I’ll never go back there again.
Beautiful store but it is hard to get to the shelves, because all of the items are still in the box. But the Things in the are blocking the stuff on the shelves. One day I would like to go in there and find everything is put away. It would be make it easier for people in the wheel chair to around the store. Other wise the staff is great.
You can find almost everything u could need, cheaper than anywhere
I would give it a 0 if i could the whole store is half empty or blocked with random stuff its a mess. Regret coming at all.
This place is a heaven sent. You can find incredible deals not far from home . Thank you the friendly staff who do their best to assist as well
Beat place to shop when living on tight budget...plenty of good products to select....
Late in the day. Not much deals there.
Sometimes the store is full of products, but other times store is half empty and messy.
Everything for one dollar the best store in america
A lot of customers that most of the shelf are empty.
Lots of great products for one buck. Cant beat it.
This was my first time thinking they have stepped it up. Finally they recognized the store was in serious need of more staffing. Well done 103rd St Dollar Tree. The staff is also more helpful warm and welcoming!!!
The Dollar Tree Store on 101st and First Avenue is the worst Dollar Tree Store Ive ever been to. There are boxes everywhere and those push carts that the employees used when the merchandize still in boxes blocking aisles which is very dangerous and a fire hazard. God forbid a fire breaks bout at Dollar Tree how will people get out fast enough if there is something blocking the aisles leading to the exit? I wouldnt be surprised if a safety inspector shuts down that store for the way its kept.
It didnt have hardly anything in it. The shelves were almost empty
Every little household stuff you need is there - and rest assured if you shop wild, for everything is $1 each! The quality is not so bad either.
Many empty shelves, nothing in stock on a Monday!
Its so awesome to be in a shop that sells different items at an awesomely low price. I got everything that I needed here for my new home office for 1$ per item and helped me save a lot instead of purchasing them from malls. Everything they sell here is essential for every household and every staff member is so kind and will accommodate you with what youre looking for.
Very pleased
Beautiful store but it is hard to get to the shelves, because all of the items are still in the box. But the Things in the are blocking the stuff on the shelves. One day I would like to go in there and find everything is put away. It would be make it easier for people in the wheel chair to around the store. Other wise the staff is great. I say that they need more employees for overnight.
Long lines. Never in stock.
Slowest checkout and no one is practicing safe social distancing. Store isles always blocked with merchandise on trolley carts but shelves always empty. And the floor is disgustingly dirty.
They too slow and dusty
It is missing a lot of products!!! Almost empty store
Was there on April 4 2020 in the morning. Unprofessional male manager.
The check out staff is always nice and courteous But over all the store is always a mess. There are always u boat carts filled with product. On more than one occasion I bought frozen items that were spoiled Because im assuming they were sitting out so long.
Messy as hell things always in boxes in the isles
Worst experience... the staff is very stubborn and rude... lanes are blocked with their stuff..
Prices of everything are very low and they have many things. However its pretty bothersome considering that there are cardboard boxes in the middle of the aisles which is where we are supposed to be walking and shopping. So if the boxes werent in the way, this store would be 10 times better.
I wish they had more of a selection but the staff was nice
Dont have a lot of much needed items. Poor customer service!
Most employee there are very unprofessional always on the phone at the register on speaker. They really need to be train better about customer service
Cheap, fresh and every nice things you can think of
Like always empty
It’s nice how I can get so much for so little money. There is arts and crafts and holiday supplies but, the only thing is it’s always dirty and there is only ONE cash register open! It’s absolutely ridiculous! There is no excuse for us to be waiting online for 15-30 mins! Other than that it’s good store.
I really want to love this store, but it has been a major disappointment every time I visit.1) The shelves are often completely empty.2) There are often boxes loaded on trolleys down the aisles that prevent you from shopping. 3) There is mostly one (1) cashier available even if the line is around the corner. One time I saw two (2) but then I realized that this is not the norm.4) In the summer there is no AC. It closed for a couple of weeks last summer (2019), which was disappointing since I wanted to do back to school shopping.I never saw a store that had so many obstacles against it. I feel badly for the people who work here. It doesn’t seem like a great place to work considering the environment.
They have a good selection of quality food at a great discount. Plus there were no ridiculously long lines.
I go there since theres no other around, but its sloppy theres usually boxes everywhere and floors are dirty! There usually very low in stock and they dont have much merchandise to sell..... And the lines take forever..
Cheap knock off every thing staff follow you around the store dollar tree is terrible they only have them in poor communities
Peanuts that cost 5 dollars elsewhere I bought for 1 dollar.
This Dolla Tree is probably one of the worst next to the one on 119 and 2nd. Never stocked, disorganized shelves. Shop here if youre desperate for something you cant find. Meaning dont waste your time.
Had what I needed.Meaning there was stuff still in stock.
Friendly staff great priced
The staff is great but they usually have trouble keeping the shelves full.
This dollar tree is in Manhattan so I expected it to have lots of variety and seasonal stuff. BUT it was a huge disappointed. Not worth going to the store. None of the aisle was properly arranged. Looking for stuff here is like treasure hunt. About half the aisles were empty or low on stock. Only the kitchen tools section looked sufficiently stocked. Very poor on stock and arrangements.
The store has made a very HUGE TURNAROUND. I am so happy and proud to be shopping here now. They have more and better employees who are more polite than the last time I was here. The aisle is easier to walk through. I saw quite a handful of items I didnt see before. I shall return to this location more now.
The worst Dollar Tree Ive ever visited. They never have what you want!
Have stuff for the right price.Manager very helpful
Extremely rude male manager.
This store is always a mess and dirty. The employees are more interested in looking at stuff than cleaning up or putting things back. There was only one cashier who was super nice while everyone is barely doing anything.I understand that its smaller store but I have seen the one on 116th Street which is larger and still a mess look nicer.Stock is laying on the floor and being stepped on so its no good anymore. One isle was blocked by hand trucks loaded with unopened boxes. Poorly managed and maintained.
I was able to find what I was looking for and things I wasnt looking for.
Fast lines and neat shelves.
Got my 1$ picture frames always can find lil quick things cant lose 👍 friendly workers during this crazy time🙏❣
Be aware that not all dollar trees close at the listed such as this one. They want to lock their doors about 10 minutes early so they can do their own shopping never mind they have customers outside knocking on the fool to be let in. Now I understand that people who have closing shifts want to get out and go home, I have the closing shift every night at my job, but if youre closed at 9pm you close at 9pm not 8:50pm. If I did that at my job, corporate will be up my ass and I wouldnt have a job. The best part about all of this, they dont have a corporate number to make complaints. This is the last time I spend my money at this location.
Its great I love this place
Dirty, unorganized and cashiers with bad attitudes. Heed my warning. Proceed with caution if you need to shop at this store.
This store is clean and efficient, the employees are polite and greet their customers with a smile. The checkout lines can be a bit long, but the cashiers keep the congestion to a minimum by way of fast and easy transactions, they also have a suitable variety of goods to choose from, and everything is genuinely a dollar.
Most of shelves are empty.
A very limited selection, basics are out of stock repeatedly, and every time I’ve gone there are carts/pallets blocking all of the aisles. I’m between a 3 and 4, but leaning toward a 3 just because there are so many spots for improvement, even if it is a really good form to save on basics around the house. Everything is in fact a dollar (or less... some 2/$1 and $.79 cans of food)
This store keeps good inventory and, you can usually find what you want - even sale items. The staff is helpful too. Free parking!*Since making my earlier comments, this store never has merchandise on the shelves - it constantly looks like its going out of business. The same is true for the store on 116 St.
Kind service, very helpfully, need to stock up
Place was a mess! empty shelves. 1 cashier the other girl was sweeping over people walking in & out. things were still sealed up in boxes on dollies & closed off isles. it was just disgusting. will never go back to this store again. its not worth your time or money to go to this one. the one on 119st & 3rd avenue was CLEAN & ORGANIZED. pleasant & fast cashier service. everything was shelfed. there were no boxes & dollies closing down the isles.
It is great for the small things one might need for home. They were able to get a lot in this store considering the size of the store. I am here every couple weeks and usually leave the place happy.
The aisles were full of boxes and carts. You can not walk in three aisles. Only one cashier working in the front. Ive been to this store multiple times and the service has only been getting worse. Its ridiculous. The store is not clean, items are on the floor and the staff are not helpful.
I came to dollar tree looking specifically for one item and walked out with 14 others. The store can be a little disorganized but thats probably because if you go later in the day everything is already picked over. The man who rang up my items was very nice and was funny. I dont mind schlepping up to 101st Street to pick up a couple of items every now and again. Will definitely be back.
Store is never stocked. Boxes are always loaded in every isle no way to shop
Its dollar tree where everything is a dollar. If I can get it from dollar tree, I wont buy from somewhere else.
The store is a complete mess and they leave refrigerated items in boxes in the aisles. I am completely disgusted and the whole summer they have no air conditioner. I believe that they should change management in that store because they should not be running the store like that. Other dollar tree stores are completely different and clean. I was in this location yesterday so the person that just commented 5 days ago is clearly lying store still looks a mess!
Staff on they personal cellphone at the register making customers wait until conversation was done.
The line is always very long around 12pm. And the AC dosent work but the cashiers are usually very nice. Ive been in here a few times and the shelves are damn near empty
Kind of messy and chaotic, but very good prices on routine, day to day paper goods and the like. The cashiers are among the friendliest that I have encountered in any chain store and they move the (invariably long) line quickly.
Theyre great when they are in stock. The amazing prices frequently leave them with empty shelves of their best products. I subtracted a star for that.
I love this place for all the special & sometimes unexpected little things you find there. However my only complaint would be blocking some aisles with merchandise from a warehouse. This can be dangerous & can cause injuries.
Love this DollarvTree StoreGreat staff.
Junk store. Shelves empty, boxes everywhere, stuff all over the floor. I thought they were closing. What a pig pen. Used to be a pretty good store, no more. Wont be back.
Great stuff, staff is hit or miss, and it’s been closed since around July 4th bc their AC broke with no notice on when they’ll be opened again. 3 weeks seems like a long time to get their AC fixed... Wish we could get an eta on when they’ll be open again!
Store is convenient and got fast service e but they need to restock the shelves instead of having boxes sitting there. Shelves get empty fast better stocking needed in this store
When it comes to finding many things needed for around the house at only a dollar this is a great place to come to. You can find name brand breads at only a dollar and they are still fresh and not out of date
Prizes are great. You can find shoes, bags...Not whole store have the same products. If you want to buy go in the morning time.
Was there today it was horrible i love the store cant beat prices BUT there was no airconditioning too hot to shop like that! 1 worker at the register long line and absolutely NOTHING in the freezers! They need more workers to unpack all their boxes that are crowding up the isles
This Dollar Tree is horrible. The shipments have to be unpacked because is always blocking everything. It also needs a new manager because I’ve seen both of them & they look like they don’t care how disorganized this store is. Not to mention, hire new employees! I would highly suggest to do an overnight shift and fix the store, because this store is so disorganized.
