Very unique women’s program-small group with lots of staff and 24 hour care. After watching my friend deal with her daughter for many years it was a relief to see her finally be able to take a breath. Girls were all caring and supportive and some have moved out with each other as roommates. Its all still new, but hoping this works and happy to let others know that we had a good experience-she tried a lot of times before. Cathy has a special way with the parents too and I know she helped my friend a lot and connected her to supportive moms who are dealing with exactly this type of scary stuff.

A close family friend went to city recovery to help with his many issues. The staff at CR is amazing! They took care of him with kindness and love. They made sure his goals to recover were met and they guided us caregivers in the process. Even after months of living at CR and it was time to move on, CR stayed with us to coach and guide him (& us) in all areas. It was a respectful, wonderful, caring experience. I highly recommend anyone with the need for care to call CR. They are the best at everything they do for the patient and for the caregivers.

After exhausting medical leave to attend and intensive in patient treatment, I didnt want to spend more time out of my job as I transitioned back into real sober life. That is why I chose City Recovery as my transitional Sober Living option, the proximity to my office in downtown NYC was perfect and the luxury amenities were some of the best I saw comparative to other facilities. Basically a 5 star property and program all in one.

I liked the individual attention, my son has a lot of social anxiety and he wasn’t forced to play basketball or do groups activities. He gradually came out of his shell and participated with the other guys because he didn’t feel pressured. He ended up living with someone from the program and that’s a win for me since I never thought he’d be able to stand on his own two feet. Getting some sleep at night now, 5 stars.

This company is truly amazing, filled with incredibly helpful staff who kept us in the loop constantly throughout the recovery process, they truly saved my friends life. After battling addiction for so many years we had almost given up hope that she could be helped but then we found City Recovery. They are so passionate and willing to go to any lengths to help people batting addiction. The owners even personally drove my friend 8 hours round trip on valentines day for treatment. I couldnt be more grateful and appreciative that this company, which possess so much compassion and skills, exist solely to help people in need. I just want to say thank you and inspire other people or family members of people who are battling addiction to seek help from this company, they are incredible.

Honestly I didnt think I had a problem at first, so it was kind of a hard transition for me being at City Recovery to begin with. That said, after being here a few months and having some extensive family therapy, Im finally coming to terms with my issues. Whats good about City Recovery is that its also opened my eyes to others in similar situations and Im relating to a lot of people my age here who are going through similar struggles. I cant say I love being in a sober living program, but as far as they go, this one is definitely the best fit for me.

A family member received excellent support and learned some valuable coping skills from the caring, competent and friendly staff at City Recovery. We also appreciated the open communication lines and always felt in touch even though we live quite a distance away. I would certainly recommend this facility to anyone looking for help with addiction!

I wanted my friend to leave NYC to get clean but he refused and I thought this would end up with another relapse. Somehow they managed to make it a less scary place for him and keep him away from old bad people and reunite him with his family. I know the family had someone there that they loved who really helped them to back off (he’s a grown adult with a job) that really seemed to make a difference. Since he probably won’t thank you, I will.

I just recently applied for a job at this location and I was completely qualify for the position.I was very surprised when I received an email saying I didn’t have the qualifications required for the job. I replied to the email I copied and paste the required skills for the jobs . Plus I detailed my skills and that I did qualify and I never got an answer back .
