This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Fedex in my entire life and I have been using Fedex for work for over 10 years. The lazy store associate did not want to scan my packages and give me a receipt. I had 74 packages on arrival once he finally did scan them he only scanned 73. That would not be an issue if he didnt scan 20 packages, take them to the back shipping facility and then scan another 20. Once I let them know that I had 74 packages and the receipt should say the same the did not want to double check the count. Once I asked them enough times and asked for a manager they brought all 74 packages out, recounted and found the package they forgot to scan. They were highly upset at this time and it seems they went to the back and played tackle football with the boxes. The items inside were completely ruined. The store employee should be fired as should the manager for allowing that type of behavior. I will be escalating this to the upper management and this location should be closed down.

This is without a doubt the WORST experience with FedEx Ive ever had. The customer service was absolutely awful and the communication between the delivery and back office teams is dreadful. After 3 calls to ensure address accuracy since the delivery team could not get it right the first or second time around, I provided contact info, access code to the building and still had 4 failed attempts AKA NOT ATTEMPTING AT ALL OR NOT HAVING THE RIGHT INFORMATION. I cannot speak to a manager or anyone with any authority to mitigate the situation. Instead I need to go miles out of my way to this site to fix YOUR mistakes. I am NEVER utilizing FedEx again. Im only giving this a star because I cant post without.

If you miss the delivery, they buzz your door then split, its hit or miss to recover package. They leave a slip with no name, sometimes but not always the floor of your building. If you miss it 2 days in a row you have to go to their Ship Center with limited hours. It should be open to midnight 6 days a week bcuz not everybody works 9-5. Dont have any of these problems with UPS or USPS

Terrible experience during a pandemic. I’m a nurse who works 12 hour shifts. I was not home to get my package because I was at work twice when they tried to deliver it. Really needing the package, I asked my boyfriend to pick it up. He had a copy of my license and I gave him all the tracking info. They still wouldn’t let him pick up my package. So I had to come after a 12 hour shift of saving lives in the emergency department. Will never use fedex again.

The staff here tonight was very nice. There was a male Caucasian customer in there being very rude to the staff when they were jus following procedures of fed ex to keep us safe and make sure fraud doesn’t happen with our packages. The client even cursed and at times became even ruder. He even cursed at the staff. They remained very calm and composed and still helped the rude man. He made bad comments toward fed ex and each time staff apologized he was unhappy but still said he must abide by compAny policy. Awesome Staff. They handled all without the manager on the floor.Great Job tonight!

If you gathered up all the people who hate their life then employed them somewhere, this place would be it. I have come here on multiple occasions and have had the worst customer service each time. There are different protocols when trying to retrieve your package that vary from person to person and the employees are always annoyed when you ask them to do their job. Sometimes they just ignore you while you stand there waiting to be helped. Please hire competent people who are willing to minimally interact with customers and efficiently release packages.

I walked twenty minutes to the 130 Leroy Ship Center only to be denied my package. The officer at the counter requested my shipping information, including my ID, and proof of my residence. When I provided her all three, the officer refused to accept my proof of residence, which was a picture of a utility bill in my name and with my residential address printed on it. When I asked her what to provide instead, she said “you need to log in”. When I asked her for clarification, she said “anywhere”. It did not seem like I was going to be able to get my package as the officer at the desk refused to accept my credentials and explain why or what to do instead. I decided to leave after the officer once again refused to answer one of my questions.

When I got home and called Fedex I was told the package WAS there. The lazy guy just didnt want to take his fat a** to the back to retrieve it.

THEY DONT EVEN RING THE BELL. I have been home ALL day waiting for my package because its Friday and I need the item for the weekend. I had a signed notice on the door as well and just got an update from my confirmation that they tried to deliver an hour ago and no one was home. No new notice on the door and I have been home waiting. Now I have to go to literally the most inconvenient spot in NYC and wait in a line all Saturday.

This place is incredibly disorganized. Waited hours past when the driver was supposed to arrive, to pick up a package that was not even attempted to be delivered (given the exception reason of business not open at a 24hr business). Apparently the guy that scans the packages went on vacation and thats an acceptable reason for a complete breakdown in being able to pick up packages. Avoid if possible.

I went to go pick up packages today. Which, I confirmed pick up ahead of time, got to FedEx waited 45 mins just too find out that my packages were supposedly sent back to sender. Which was weird because I contacted the sender and they confirmed that it was still at the fedex facility. Sadly, from the moment I walked in I felt uneasy the young lady was rude, unhelpful, with no sense of urgency. I will be tracking my packages and Im just hoping and praying that I would never have receive packages from FedEx again!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVEEEERRRR!!!!!!

I went here today and attempted to drop off an item I am returning. I had a box that needed to be taped shut and the shipping label was emailed to me. As far as I know, I did not have to pay anything. In the past when I returned items via fedex, they would charge for a box if I didnt have one, but never would they charge for tape to shut the box.First off there was one person at the counter. She acted very busy. No one was on line. When she finally paid attention to me, I was told that I needed to purchase tape ($2.5), and further that I needed to print out the label myself.I asked if I can just print it there since I just wanted to drop off the package and be on my way. Apparently I couldnt. I was told to go to the w4 street location. Which I did.I think what happened is that this location is really for people to drop off already labeled and sealed boxes. For instance I saw a ton of jetblack boxes on top of the counter. However, if that is the case, the staff should have just told me, instead of making it difficult. I do not like being treated like an idiot who never dropped off packages at fedex locations in the past.TL;DR: I do not recommend dropping off your returns here if you want to be treated with manners and actually get stuff done.

This place is a joke. FedEx fails to honor delivery requests, and automatically sends your package to their not-so-close location. The Leroy street location provides no phone number, and any request will put in touch with the national customer service line. Numerous times the website/customer service tells me my package is at the Leroy street location. I arrive, and it is not there. Also notable is that at 5pm theres a line out the door and only 1 person is working. No phone number, inaccurate tracking, and understaffed. Typical.

Terrible service. Did not ring the door, did not read the notice, did not try to call the super or myself. Attempted 3 deliveries in the middle of the day (guess what people are doing in the middle of the day?! WORKING!), then left the package at the most inconvenient location possible in Manhattan. And there the appalling service carry on... the line is incredibly long and slow moving, and I found out why when I got to the counter: the staff is rude, disorganized and lazy. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I cannot understand how these people have jobs. The sheer level of incompetence is mind-boggling to me and my husband. I came to the store 3 times to get my phone, and I was told 3 different protocols every time. When I call Fed Ex, they are puzzled as to why 130 Leroy operates this way. THERE MUST BE AN INVESTIGATION into this place and the ludicrous manager who runs it. Please, FedEx, look into all the comments and do something about it. This place is JOKE.

Laziest drivers Ive ever encountered, even when you buzz them in they will still not go up but instead would rather leave multiple door tags through out the week. When I go out of my way and do their job for them and go pick it up MYSELF they cant find my package. Then I decide to wait an extra 2 hours at the 130 Leroy location for my package and they tell me that they have looked everywhere and cant find it. But yet earlier that day when I buzzed the FedEx express driver to go to my home so I can receive my package he refused and instead left ANOTHER door tag. So here I am now praying they find my package. It is now Friday and they have been leaving door tags since Tuesday. Good job FedEx.

WARNING: THIS IS THE WORST FEDEX LOCATION. Ever! The level of incompetence is through the roof. A 1 star is too generous, I would much rather it be ZERO.The sole worker at the desk greeted me with disgust and carried on with this same attitude for the whole 15 minutes I was there and left without even being able to pick up a package I went to collect. Apparently the 800 FedEx number (who my wife called to inquire if i would be able to pick a package for her, as we have different last names) has nothing to do with any of their locations, or so said the brain dead woman at the counter. When I protested and insisted that I brought all of the necessary documents I was told to bring by the FEDEX 800 number, she called her manager who basically mocked me over the phone.Have you ever been so angry you wanted to scream until your ear drums burst? Yeah, well news flash: walking into this place will do that to you.To the woman working at the counter at 170 Leroy st- you seem like you hate your job, maybe it’s time you quit, no? According to the website they attempted a few deliveries, but I never found a slip downstairs. When I went to the location to pick up my package the lady at the counter wouldnt let me sign for it because it was partially addressed with my nickname and didnt match the full name on my ID. I even brought a couple of magazines showing my delivery address and explained why my nickname was on the package (along with my first full name), but she kept feeding me the same 2 refusal lines on repeat. Another customer behind me in line suggested that I go back on someone elses shift, so I guess Ill try that tomorrow...

Why is it every time I use FedEx something always goes wrong? Why do I have to stress and make calls...every single time without fail? The way the employees deal with customers is pathetic, discouraging and embarrassing. I expected this type of service so I am able to keep cool. I will never give FedEx my business again.The last time I did use FedEx I had an argument with a FedEx employee and shortly after I received a call saying that my package went missing, never to be seen again. Again FedEx is unprofessional, shady and not worth the hassle.

Can you give zero stars? Last night I called fedex and was told my package had an incorrect address but I could go after work to this center to pick it up. I walk like 20 blocks out of my way (this place is basically in the Hudson). I get there around 7:15 and there are 15 or so people standing in line and 1 employee. the line moves super slowly but it moves. they add a second guy so im getting excited. I get up to see him and he tells me that the customer service line was wrong and I cant get my package despite it being there in the building because it needs to get sent back. I ask to speak to a manager. The guy says ok and then starts to see the next person without calling a manager. after he sees the next person I ask him to actually call the manager, and I see him pick up the phone and ask for the manager. then, I kid you not, BOTH THE EMPLOYEES GO IN THE BACK FOR HALF AN HOUR, NOT TELLING ANYONE WHERE THEYRE GOING. So there are still 15 or so people standing in line with no idea where a single employee is. After a while, people start joking around about stealing something so that at least someone will come out. I call the customer service number and tell them there are no employees in the store and that I asked for a manager 30 mins ago. They put me on hold for 10 mins and then come back on the line and tell me that the two employees are looking for packages and the manager is not available. I eventually gave up after spending and hour and a half there. Will absolutely never ship anything with fedex again.

How FexEx is still in business is beyond my comprehension. Not only the service is unreliable, but the info reported about the locations is wrong (or never gets updated). Before going to any effedup location call to make sure there will be someone working there!That said, Id be weary to ship anything at all with them: A couple years back I was riding behind an effedup truck driving like a madman on Park Avenue (NYC) between 23rd and 16th st. The truck was literally bouncing on the many potholes, with his rear door wide open.I avoided the few packages that fell off the truck (likely plowed down by the cars and bus behind me, hand no chance to check), not that the driver seemed to give the remotest flying about it. I was very surprised to see that there was no alarm which would notify the driver that the rear door is open at the very least! Or perhaps there is one, but the driver perhaps couldnt care less about it? Either way Id ship with a different company and would only use Fed Ex if that was the only option available in an emergency.

Took off work to receive an overnight package. Door bell never rang, no knock, nothing. Even a door slip was not left. Poor service. Customer service did nothing except file a complain. Avoid using Fedex for delivery if it is an option. I would have also given 0 stars. Its obvious the driver probably never came near my building. I receive the message alerts and as Im sitting home on my computer I get a deliver attempt unsuccessful message. No truck downstairs, no Fedex person to be found. Very shady.

I only posted one star because it was a requirement, otherwise would be 0. The most unhelpful, inefficient company, ever. They have processes in place that they KNOW dont work, and still dont care about the customer. Every single time Ive used them its been a huge inconvenience, and ends up being a huge, time wasting hassle. If you respect your TIME or your business, do not use FedEx at ALL COSTS.

Unfortunately I did not want to write a bad review for any business but seeing as the people that work at this station are not able to provide me clear instruction to resolve my issues I have to resort to a review since theyve wasted hours of my time.I tried retrieving a package and called the shipper + fedex for it to be returned. I come back from vacation and the shipment was still not returned five days later. I asked for an answer as to why it didnt ship and they couldnt give me any answer.Please be wary of using fedex especially at this location as they do not provide clear answers to any questions. Just lines that are fed to them.

This station is terrible. I ordered some stuff from online that could not be delivered to my home and had to pick up at this station. Had my tracking number, doortag number, and ID and they still would not give me my package! I had to call Neiman Marcus so they could reach out to FedEx to have it release and the people at this station still took forever to give me my stuff! This FedEx is terrible!
