R&J is simply the best. You absolutely get what you pay for and that at R&J is a consistent high quality service every single visit. The owner, Chris, met with me to discuss the areas, and it just felt incredibly authentic. There were no gimmicks or sales pitch just a conversation on how he and his staff wanted to achieve maximum results, and they have! Nearly a few months in the results are outstanding. Unsuccessful experience.I had been a customer for almost 2 years starting December 2019, targeting the back and front/back areas for laser treatments. The staff is friendly and accomodating but 6 sessions and 6 follow ups later the hair intensity barely diminished.The center convinced me for another package, following a more intensive (and painful) treatment. 2 sessions in that package, I get a severe reaction to it and dark marks on my neck and arm. Noone follows up on my condition or checks up and the marks take weeks to go away. Noting that I had been a customer for 2 years, always on time and never disrespectful. 2 months after that, the hair is back is most of the areas treated, even the relatively “easy” neck area. I needed to start shaving regularly again.The center took no accountability on that and the only solution proposed was to keep paying and coming in for sessions, that are obviously not working. So consider that before spending 5000$+ for something that doesnt work, even if it looks fancy and professional.

Romeo & Juliette Laser had changed my life for the better! I had a birthmark on that side of my face and was always self conscious about it, ever since I started my package I grew more confidence with every passing session. Before I wouldn’t be able to speak to people without being insecure of the possibility they may judge me, now I don’t have to worry about that because it’s completely taken care of thanks to R&J. I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about Romeo and Juliet laser center!! My experience started with an inquiry after having a horror story at a different popular NYC salon that offers laser treatments. The first conversation was very impressive because instead of rushing me in to get a service Christian asked for photos of what the damage was and then recommended I start using topical treatments to heal the situation before I begin the process at R&J. At my initial visit I actually did not get lasered because the wonderful manager felt like my skin needed more time to heal before starting my sessions at R&J and I paid nothing for that visit! Im about four sessions in now and everything has been amazing Ullia ( I hope I spelled that correctly) has been nothing but a gem from the very first day I met her. The staff there really are invested in seeing results not just taking money and every visit I feel more confident about the final results of my under arms afterward. They come highly recommended (especially if you have darker skin) and every recommendation is correct they are the best in NYC! This is coming from someone whos tried a popular Instagram famous salon with terrible results and the team at R&J have been able to almost completely correct the other salons mistake. Im four sessions in and the hair regrowth for my underarms barely poke through the surface, when they do the hair is very very thin. Forever grateful and highly recommend R&J for your laser needs!

This place is amazing. The results are amazing. The most important part for me since I deal with customer service is that on top of treatments being very effective compared to other salons. The customer service has been exceptional 5 star. They work with you on whatever your needs might be. The results are life changing, and I mean it. It’s expensive but I’ve never even reconsidered any other place.

Horrible experience, in 2018-2019 spent about $10,000 between me and my fiancé to get laser hair removal her: arm pits, legs, butt, full genital areas …. Me: full genital areas …..doesn’t work still growing hair and we spent $10,000 on PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL! We did all this PRE COVID and I Spoke to owner about this and his wife and they didn’t seem to care. I asked him for even a partial refund and he basically told me no, he said we would have to come back in, but We already had over 12 treatments so how would coming back in do anything??? We went in over 12 times and still hair growing. Not to mention how painful it is on top of everything (would have been worth the pain if it worked but it didn’t work)…Now that covid is over I wanted to post this because no follow ups after covid or anything from the owners after I called him and complained to him (exactly what I’m typing now) they know me and my fiancé had these issues. They blamed it on our hair isn’t dark enough, (why would you take $10,000 from someone if you knew it wouldn’t work on lighter hair??) then they said they had a laser for people with lighter color hair and we even did that and still hair growth. It’s sad when u spend that amount of money for a service that doesn’t work. If You spend $10,000 for Permanent hair removal, then you should get what u paid for.UPDATE!!!! A MONTH AFTER WRITING THIS REVIEW….. STILL NO ANSWER!!!!!

R&J is absolutely FIRST class. The owner and his staff are true professionals. They are very personable and very friendly. It’s a business but you would never know it. You are always greeted like you are family . Cleanliness gets a super A plus. I would recommend R&J to anyone. They pride themselves on being on time but always keep you informed of your scheduling. Romeo and Juliette Laser has changed my life. I have been working on various parts of my body and the results are outstanding. I have zero hair on my legs and underarms and have only needed few touch ups over the years in between. The freedom of not having to shave and be able to wear whatever I want without thinking about it twice is worth everything, so liberating. The staff is extraordinarily kind, accessible, professional and so careful to make sure they are using the correct laser for the correct body part and the correct technician. This is a supremely professional place where the clients results and satisfaction comes before anywhere else. They also use lasers that are not available on other places providing better, more high quality results. I would recommend Romeo and Juliette a billion times. Do not waste your time looking for other places. They have it all and are wonderful to work with. Owner Chris is a lovely, lovely man and a pleasure to work with as well as Yulia, the manager. She is so gracious, warm and welcoming.

I don’t recall when i came for my underarm laser hair removal, but is definitely close to 10 yrs, i did many research back in my college year and finally made up my mind and had it done at Romeo and After 10 years, the result are still great, i do have few hair grow back but not a major issue for me. Today my friend ask me about laser hair removal and you guys pop up in my mind, i went on google map and share the link for her. Most professional laser hair removal I’ve seen in New York and I’ve been to a lot of them. Other places seem to charge you less by dividing all the parts of the body to the smallest increments but R&J prices on larger areas so in the end it makes it more budget friendly. I’m very happy with the results I’m getting from here. 100% recommend!

This place is great! I got facial laser hair removal done here and my results are amazing. They cater to African American skin and take great care in providing optimal results. I no longer have to wear makeup everyday to cover the hair/ dark marks because they are GONE. In the future I plan to do laser on other areas as well.

They didn’t make any false promises to me and were pretty honest about the results i can expect. Very decent place and the lasers are good. I noticed some hair reduction at the first time i went. The laser did burn my skin a bit and I got some acne but it wasn’t a huge deaI. i have some coarse and dark hairs on my face with pale skin so my experience may be different than others. Just expect it to be a long term commitment especially if you are getting hair removal on your face.

Romeo and Juliette is a first class establishment with short wait times (if any at all) where the technicians actually care about your concerns. This facility stays up to date with new technology brining in new lasers right as they hit the market. The owner (Christian) is often present and visible to address any additional concerns clients may have. Overall 10/10.

I used this place years ago, and was extremely happy with the results. The results are still visible today. The owner was very friendly went over everything with me. They probably have the most variety of lasers to fit your skin type, and if a laser didnt work so well for you, theyll try another.Youll pay more here, but youll see why, they use the highest setting possible, Ive tried one of the lower priced clinics with less than desirable results. The other clinics will use lower settings.

For example I have been told not to do sessions if I was too recently in the sun, and have been advised against laser in certain areas as it would likely cause more hair growth rather than eliminate. So, lets start with the reason many people dont write reviews for this kind of thing: its public, with my name right out there (thanks Google!) and its an embarrassing topic. But, this place is too good for those things to thwart me.I priced out a few laser places before committing to Romeo and Juliet. They were not the cheapest but they had the best equipment with the newest lasers and most thorough staff. I know many people who have spend thousands on laser just for it to be completely ineffective. I can tell you right now that this place is the best. I mean it. THE. BEST. Heres why:I am a middle eastern woman. So, darker skin that keeps color, keeps a tan, and is tough for most lasers for hair removal. I also was blessed with genes like a wildebeest. Or, like a gorilla if you prefer. Or maybe a black lab. Either way, Ive been made fun of all my life by peers, lovers, and boyfriends for my unfortunate genetics. So, when I was given hope of hairlessness, I actually cried. A lot. Not only the time and expense would be saved,: no more going through hundreds in razorblades or nicking myself and bleeding all over my favorite silk dress--but also, I would save hours. I could go camping with ease! I could forget to shave for 5 days and STILL take an impromptu dip in the pool in my new bikini with friends. This would be absolutely an impossibility before. When I say impossible, I mean full-body razor burn and bumps and 5 o clock shadow impossible. I committed to basically a full body removal for 7 sessions. The change from session to session was DRAMATIC! I still have some tough little stubborn spots that need a bit more time but lets just say that 97% of places treated are now pore-less, smooth, buttery, and I shave maybe once every 8-10 days now just because of the 12 or 13 random long blonde hairs that persist on my calf or thigh. Besides those, baby, I am a smooth goddess of happiness, saved time, saved stress, and much better confidence and self esteem. Im not paralyzed by my body anymore. I am not limited by my fear or embarrassment, as vain as that may sound...but look, after being publicly made fun of so many times, it just really hurts--emotionally. Those people suck. But still, it brings me so much joy to not have my confidence or choices dictated by my genes. I can wear a skirt after 9 days of no shaving. I can get into a bikini after 15 days--is that incredible or what?!?!?!?!?? They said I was one of the fairest women they had ever seen. And, one year later, I feel like a goddess. My only regret is that I did not get this done YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS ago. Please dont wait. Save your money. Start now. Make a payment plan. Just do it. This was one of the most transformative experiences of my life because it freed me and allowed me to just be ME without all of the hurt, anger, frustration, fear, shame, and full-body razor bumps.

A hidden gem in New York! Not only does the staff treat you like family but the owner Christian is genuine, true New York Values. The office is conveniently located off of Fifth avenue by Central park in the heart of Manhattan, easy walking distance from Penn and Grand Central terminal. Youll fall in love like Romeo and Juliette with the results!!

Dishonest. Entered into a deal (thousands of $$) for complete hair removal of one area, but when it did not happen after the expected number of session, Chris opted to simply reneg and try to charge me $75 per visit for all future follow-up (of the few remaining hairs!) In NYC, we are lucky to have so many other honest and effective solutions that no one should be swindled by this place full of trainees on old machines.

I had laser before at different facilities with no visible success. One of my friends recommended Romeo&Julliatte laser hair removal. I had stubborn ingrown on my bikini which there has been forever. Within two visits, I had an amazing results. They are definitely worth the price.

Excellent... no more unwanted hair . Bought the package for my entire face 3 years ago and started seeing results. My face looks awesome, now I go for touch ups once a year, although I dont think I need to, but just to make sure . They are very good 😊

Good service but within a year all facial hear came back after taking the yr package at $900... disappointed ..however like I said the service was good..

I tried to use the hair removal salon for the first time since summer is coming. I was worried, but I was able to clean it with a laser. It was beautiful and calm like a hotel lobby!
