Excellent! Zales located on 5th Avenue is absolutely the best! The staff is above exceptional!
The ring my fiance wanted was no longer available, Mrs. Nancy who is also the manager had notified her boss to see if he could pull his connections in getting the ring. After spending about 2 hours in Zales on 5th avenue, the ring was found. The Customer Service Mrs. Nancy gave us was impeccable 👌 you do not see such diligence any more she went way beyond the call of duty. So if you lovers out there are looking for great customer service in the Jewelry department go to Zales on 5th. Thank you Nancy.
Don’t bother arriving to this location within 30 minutes of them closing or you’ll be rushed out with minimal service. Staff was impatient, and made me feel like I was imposing on them. However the engagement ring I purchased was beautiful and great quality for the price, I just wish one of the most sentimental purchases of my life wasn’t attached to this negative experience.

Ok ok I realize that there is better places to get diamonds but the experience and the diamond I got was great and I compared to other places and wasnt a difference you just have to be vigilant and pay attention to the merchandise. And always shop around ofcourse.

My boyfriend and I went ring shopping together at the Zales on 5th avenue. Moon was very helpful. I would give this place more stars if I could. She was patient, detailed and helped us find our perfect rings (even matched). I enjoyed the variety they have on display because it allows us to see our options before making a big decision. Definitely recommend this place.
My fiancé and I went to this Zales three times total, and the saleswoman that mostly worked with us was nothing but aloof, indifferent, and very overt how she didn’t care for us since our budget was lower than most. When we picked up my engagement ring after it was resized, I noticed something was off about it as one diamond was cloudy and a few had a pink tint. When I mentioned this she laughed and said we would know if we got a pink diamond because they are so expensive; underhandedly mocking our budget. I felt ashamed and confused, and still wanted to know why parts of my ring were now pink. She then said it was because of the light so we left the store only to come back to have her check once more. She then said it was because of hand sanitizer, did a quick cleaning and a sloppy check under the microscope, and passed it off to us so we could leave because the store was closing in 25 minutes and she didn’t want to deal with customers anymore. She said it would fade in time. Our trust in this particular Zales was shaken so a few days later we took the ring to a different Zales for a check and found out that one diamond was cracked, and a few diamonds had leftover pink highlighter on them from the resizing phase. We were treated with kindness and were relieved to have sales people actually care about our love story.Our interactions at this location and this saleswoman’s blatant disregard for what actually ended up being a cracked diamond and unfinished repair/cleaning job is despicable. She marred what is otherwise a very joyful and exuberant time in our relationship and we will never return to this particular Zales.
Came in to return my online order. On the way to exit Ive noticed a nice set I wanted to look at. A gentleman assisted me. Suddenly another assistant told him something like she came to return online order (why to tell it?). The very next moment he took the set from my hands back under the glass.What was that? Such a weird and strange experience. Will never come back. Poor thing, it happened right before Valentines day :( Very bad feeling and disappointment.

My boyfriend had bought me a chain and pendant on the 26th of August for my birthday. The 28th of August, my chain broke and i was devastated! I went to Zales on 5th ave and was assisted by Corey. He informed me that i would have to send my chain out to get fixed would would take 3 weeks. I was so sad! Corey then pulled up my lifetime warranty and was able to switch out my chain so i wouldn’t have to wait. This made me soo happy especially since Corey was so patient and helpful. I would definitely recommend him and will be going back to see him for more purchases! This made my birthday even more great. Thanks Corey!!

I came to the location because the diamond on my ring fell out and corey and the mgr were very helpful and sent my ring for repair free of charge since i only had the ring a few weeks.they were both very helpful and understanding.
Worst customer service at this location. Always bought my jewelry with warranty. Lost the backing on my earring and the lady says they don’t cover replacement and the warranty literally states it covers the replacement of backings and post

The customer service here has exponentially improved! I first came here 6 months ago and thought I would never come back. I was curious and decided to give this location another try. Moon was so sweet and helpful. She made me feel welcomed and I did not feel pressured to buy anything. Initially I came in for a necklace for my maid of honor, and I ended up leaving with two necklaces, a pair of earrings, and a ring. She took her time showing me around the store and only showed me jewelry that was in my budget! I ended up going over budget (since I needed to buy the diamond warranty) but I am very happy with how I felt in the store and with my overall purchase.
Love this store, I live all the way in Brooklyn and I wouldnt trade it for anywhere close to me.

Nov 30th I ordered online what should have been a delivered to store by Christmas as guaranteed if placed before Dec 4th. Needless to say I called multiple times to verify the delivery of my order to find out through the online customer service that the order was delivered Dec 20th. On Dec 29th when I had the sales rep check the store since they kept saying it was not there to only to find out it there. once I arrived the personalized jewelry I ordered was misspelled. I am so disappointed in the service between the online store and the brick and mortar store. This was a gift for my daughter sweet 16 Jan 1st. I do however want to thank Brian who assisted me with all the mess. I will not be ordering online from them EVER AGAIN!
June 2019Had to edit my review because I returned after 6 months and gave this store a second chance. This time around things went more smoothly. Out of all the times I’ve gone to this Zales I noticed things go smoothly when Moon is there. She makes sure everything is done correctly.December 2018Not a great experience with this specific Zales. Not sure why there is always a problem with wanting to ship out my rings for cleaning and polish, again only at this specific Zales. Every other Zales I go to whether it’s in Puerto Rico or Queens NY never had a problem shipping out my rings. Either they’re lazy and don’t want to do the paperwork or don’t want to live up to the purchased warranties deal, which is to bring in the rings every 6 months to have them shipped out for cleaning. Left with an unsettling feeling and don’t know if I trust them with my jewelry. Zales should do a better job at training there employees.
Your typical Zales. As expected, the counters are shiny and the staff is smiley. They have your typical selection of jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets) and fashion watches. However if youre looking for a nice watch - this is not the place. It also seems as they have more than enough staff - which means youll be helped right away.

The customer service at Zales is always top notch. I worked with Riley who is so friendly and informative. I needed my wedding set resized. Riley didnt make me feel rushed even though I didnt have a confirmed appointment with him. I was being watched or followed by the security or other customer service agents when I perused the jewelry displays. I saw something I really loved and am definitely going to go back to purchase some bling!

Terrible Experience..... i ordered a ring to the store which ended up missing in store, and all the store assosiates could do was offer me another ring. I went to macys and spent $1,000 and im actually happy with my purchase, I’d never shop or refer anybody to go to Zales.
I was pressured to open an account in order to receive a discount on a jewelry repair. I was charged for the repair before it was sent in. I received a call saying it was ready but the call was in error. I received another call saying it was ready however it was actually because the repair could not be made- on a fine gold chain which had broken and could have been repaired by any jeweler. After three visits I had to wait while the repair charge was removed from the account. And interestingly I had to call the servicing bank because I never received the credit card so I could not cancel the account. They are friendly but not helpful and less than knowledgeable about the merchandise. Its your call.
The supervisor has a very bad attitude ...( But when you call customer service they are very friendly and efficient )the supervisor should be like that

Slow service. I had my great grandmothers pearls restrung and a month later the clasp broke. They refused to fix without charge. If you want quality go elsewhere.

Worst experience ever. DO NOT GO TO THIS BRANCH. When it comes to jewelry, I love buying from zales, however this store made me will NEVER buy from zales again.Yesterday I bought a necklace as a gift for my sisters birthday, and Im pretty sure when i checked it, it was in good condition. Then, the lady in the store went to wrap it and i left. Surprisingly, when my sister opened the box, the chain was broke, so either the lady replaced it or broke it while wrapping it and she didnt mention it knowing that Im leaving NY on the same day.Then, when my sister found out last night, we had to stay another day to go back to the store, and when we went today, the guy there didnt even apologize, and with a very bad attitude he was like things happen. Then he replaced it with another chain, so i wanted to make sure the chain is the same quality since i dont trust them any more from what happened. I said can we plz see the old chain, he is again with his bad attitude do you wanna keep it? I said yes (since he is talking in this way), so he replied with a worse attitude NO. I asked him why did you offer to keep it since its no, then be didnt respond and stopped looking at me, and i keep asking him and he is totally ignoring me and not looking at me. Unfortunately i had to raise my voice to make him look at me, so he was like i dont have to reply to you. Then shockingly the manager without knowing why i had to raise my voice, she called security and told him to take us out the store, but because the security guy saw what happened and how the salesman had a very bad attitude, he didnt listen to the manager, and didnt talk to me. Then, the manager had to listen and apologized and admitted the salesman fault. VERY VERY FRUSTRATED AT ZALES. They really need to keep an eye on who they hire.
My fiancé got my engagement ring from the Zales on Steinway Street in Astoria, Queens NY and diamonds were falling out of the ring every little move I would make. The Queens zales was not very helpful (with the exception of a wonderful woman named Effie) so I took the ring to the 5th Ave Manhattan Zales and they were so helpful and even got me a brand new one, made for my finger, free of charge! They are wonderful and have great customer service.

We had a very good experience. One of the main managers was very helpful and gave us good information.
Went to have my ring cleaned as per the Lifetime Warranty/Cleaning that I purchased but didnt have my certificate. I assumed that they could look up my info about my purchase and the customer rep could but since she couldnt get the Warranty number I wasnt able to leave my ring. She said it was because that info wasnt on her computer. I was disappointed that their computer system didnt have the info and frustrated about their outdated computer system.
